This was an unpleasant and expensive stay and I recommend against it. If all you want is an over-priced bed, it is fine; if you want charm or good foot, it is not as advertised. There is nothing classic about the room I was given: it is more 2020 Walmart than 18th century farmhouse. I was served a cold quiche with soggy crust and a slice of cheap bread for breakfast. There is not even an herbal tea option. My trip was a get away with my son as I live in Oregon and he in New York and rarely see him but he left a day early as he found the place rather depressing. I didn't even bother with the bad breakfast for the second day. If you want character and charm, go elsewhere. If you just want a place to sleep, get a hotel.

Great experience for our stay. On arrival, our host could not have been more welcoming. The suite was well designed and all looked new. Breakfast provided a full range of choices in the spacious and charming gift shop. We would definitely recommend the Tin Brook to anyone wishing to enjoy this attractive region of New York.

The room was not dirty. The electric outlets were few, once located. The TV was a puzzle; one of two controllers provided did not work. The breakfast was distinctly ordinary. Pour your own juice from a branded bottle from the supermarket. Eggs reconstituted from powder. Not a typical B&B experience, unfortunately. Think Motel 8 or Red Roof Inn.

Not even close to a Pleasant B&B experience. The mattress was old and worn. The floor was uneven, making it a tripping hazard. Never felt welcomed or comfortable. We were totally shocked and dissatisfied .

This was such a gem of a Bed and Breakfast. I had a great quiet and comfortable room. The property is not fancy, but it is very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. The owners were friendly and very helpful with information about the area. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

David is a great host. He’s friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable, clean, and the temperature was perfect. It’s obvious David knows how to care for guests and we felt super comfortable and welcome. I’d definitely return and will recommend others visit too.

I booked this BnB for a couple's weekend trip and we already know we will be back in the spring. Breakfast is simple and enough food, the room was clean. We had a small issue with the window, but David was more than helpful resolving the issue and overall a welcoming and accommodating host. It's close enough to downtown Walden for food, to Angry Orchard and drivable to Mohonk and Beacon.

We stayed above the gift shop for 3 nights. It was so quiet, comfortable and very private. Convenient location for getting to DIA Beacon, Storm King and other sites Restaurants in the town were uncrowded on the weekend and very reasonable. The owner was friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here as we were vending at an in event in nearby Wappingers Falls. The room we were in was the Pumpkin Patch room. It was spacious, we had a small refrigerator at our disposal a large restroom with a lovely shower and a nice wide counter and sink. There is also an adorable breakfast nook & tea & coffee options in the room. David our host couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating, right next-door to the end is the shop where you are served breakfast which David makes and it is absolutely awesome. If you love knickknacks the store is adorable and full of them and just overall a great experience especially when traveling for some thing as taxing even if it is fun as being a vendor. Can only imagine coming back here at some point to recharge your batteries because it really was a great experience in a beautiful setting.
