This hotel was very nice looking but the negatives would outweigh any decision to stay there in the future. They offered free breakfast which was not available over 30 days before the potential strike was to start (and did not start). Offered $11. per person but it costs $15. for a breakfast at the McDonalds next door. The room was clean, but the beds were not comfortable. The hotel is close to a subway station which is good but you definitely don't want to walk on the back side of this hotel street in the opposite direction. Homeless everywhere and I was spit at and a chair thrown toward me as we walked to dinner one evening as we were minding our own business walking along. Very few restaurants in this area. Nice to have Starbucks, IGA, and a pharmacy hooked onto the hotel but I would definitely stay closer to Old Montreal if there to sight-see. Also I had asked for the quiet side of the hotel and we were told upgraded to a "city view". The city view played really loud music with LOTS of bass every night we were there in the park outside out window until 11PM. Also, we were made to wait outside (10 minutes) after ringing the intercom at 1:30AM (no answer) to check in.
