The room was okay. It was very cold when I checked in. I thought there was no heating. When I opened the air conditioner vents, no hot air came out. The heater was next to the window sill. It took an hour or two to warm up. I booked the room through prepaid RMB through Ctrip. When I checked out, the front desk I was charged Canadian dollars again. If you don’t speak English well, you may not be able to explain clearly. Fortunately, the money was returned in the end. However, in the winter, there are green ducks and swimming pools outside the house, which is quite magical.

Wow! I think the Montreal Chateau Champlain might be my new favorite hotel in the world! Okay, it might have to stay in second place because the Westin in Shanghai, China is pretty epic as well-- but it is definitely my new favorite hotel in North America! And I travel a lot! This was my fourth time coming to Montreal for the Marathon, and we picked the Marriott because I could use points. I had no idea I was going to be so delighted! From the check-in with a charming young man who made an effort to put our rooms near each other and gave us late check-out so we could shower after the race and even upgraded me as a loyal Marriott member to the wonderful breakfast to the work-out room... everything was terrific! The blackout shades were amazing, and I was in awe of the toilet that sensed my arrival and lit up and heated itself to body temperature... High tech! The bed was huge and so comfortable that I actually just lay there for hours on Saturday morning, blissing out on pure rest for the first time in far too long! We were having such a great time that we debated staying another night after the race, but alas, duty called. Instead, we decided we would need to return again soon. I will never stay anywhere else in Montreal! Oh, and did I mention that there's a metro stop literally under the hotel? The parking (owned by a different company) was my only complaint; but now that I know I can metro everywhere, even that is solved!

Hotel is right in the Chinatown district of Montreal. Parking is below, while small and tight, there is room. There is a small daily fee to park, typical of large cities. I went to the second floor to check in and was given my room on the higher floor. It’s typical for a downtown Holiday Inn. Room clean, nice view of the city, furnace worked well, sadly weak shower pressure found so often. Because I am a Platinum IHG member, breakfast was included both days I stayed. It was typical American despite being in a Chinese themed hotel due to location. Buffet style and filling. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a large amount of Canadian coins I had collected over the years in the States, and they were happy to convert to bills and loonies/toonies. That helped with small purchases in the city. Checkout went well. I had no issues with safety despite coming back late at night.

The hotel was very central to all the place we wanted to be. It seemed like a 20 min walk to everywhere. Chinatown, Old Montreal, Waterfront, St Catherine street to city centre and the other way to The Gay Village. There are a lot of people that hang around in the streets around the hotel but it seems to be a big issue in Montreal in general. We never felt unsafe but we are from Toronto. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Panoramic rooms so we had a corner and a lounge. The rooms with just the beds are very small, it was nice having the extra space. They did not clean the rooms due to Covid which was fine but there is no where to dry a towel so we had to be creative. The bed was comfortable thought because it was not fully made up each day it got to be a bit of a mess and was harder to fix. The AC in the bedroom blows right on your head! The Lobby smelled wonderful and was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all great place and we would stay again.

We stayed a couple of nights pre-cruise to acclimatise and enjoy Montreal in the early Summer. We had a pleasant stay, very personable staff and a decent room. Novotel fittings seem to lean toward minimalist scandi which can give an air of being sp****, but bedding was very comfortable. Additional pillows appeared on request. Breakfast was interesting, again possibly post-covid staffing issues as things took a while but the staff were again very engaging. Great location on Rue de la Montagne with easy access to public transit and taxis to the port. Definitely would stay here again.

First, Hilton-branded hotels are my chain of choice and I am also a Diamond Member and have been for years. We chose the Hampton Inn Downtown Montreal due to its location; close to Old Montreal, Chinatown, the shopping district, and restaurants. At check-in the customary ”thank you for being an Honors Member” was not mentioned though not a big deal! As a Diamond Member I asked about the comp upgrade if available. I was told by the agent at the front desk that there were no upgrades available and that I was in a room with a ”couch”! Not sure what the 1 ½ person couch would do but whatever. We arrived at our room, our small room. We were on a 7-day trip to cold climates with outdoor events therefore we had a lot of baggage - nowhere to put it all in the room. From the room, I dialed ”0” and asked if we could please be assigned another room. The person on the phone said ”yes, of course, we will put you in a suite!”. (See above, front desk agent, no suites available.) We arrived to a large suite with great amenities - full kitchen and appliances, corner room, lots of room, etc. The downside, the floors were a mess - I mentioned it but never heard back. We used a damp towel and cleaned the entire room ourselves. Oh, the towel, it wasn't healthy looking after that. The runner carpets at the bed were no better. I door parking was great BUT it's where all the ********* smokers gather though there's no indoor smoking in any of the building. BTW - note that ********* is TOTALLY legal in Canada so that was not the issue - smoking inside was the issue. So, great location, nice property, attention to detail and Hilton Honors members is very lacking and a front desk agent who got caught in a little lie!

Enjoyed my stay at the Delta. The location is central and we walked everywhere including to the McGill Convocation. Check in was quick and there are many lounge areas. The rooms, bathroom, bedding and towels were clean and the bed was super comfortable with a selection of pillow types (Typical of the Marriott hotels that I have stayed in). The food in the restaurant is very good. Breakfast is better in the restaurant. I ordered breakfast through room-service for breakfast and did not enjoy the Starbuck selection; and the coffee was cold. I do not know if this is typical or because of Covid, the level of services was limited. The view depends on which room you are in. Loved the view of Mount Royal from the room my siste and husband were in. My view was of Rue Presiden Kennedy. Overall a great stay.

First off, if you`re reading this and you`re a Bonvoy Platinum (or above member) then I`d book this over any other Montreal property. The Club Lounge is that good (more on that later). My family and I stayed her at the tail end of a Quebec vacation. The location is very central, just a couple of blocks away from Rue St. Catherine and the Metro and maybe a 20 minute walk to Old Town and Mount Royal. As others have mentioned, the lobby is undergoing a renovation but the Club Lounge is open and newly redone and absolutely amazing. We didn`t use the pool or gym but we did check them out and they look really nice, there`s also a large outdoor space just off the pool with tables so even if you don`t have club lounge access there`s some nice places to hang, especially in nice weather. Parking was surprisingly affordable for a large city at aroung $25.00 a day. Our junior suite was actually larger than I thought it would be a king size bed in the bedroom and a separate living room with a queen size sofa, my teenager used the sofa bed and didn`t have any complaints. The room also had a cool table/ that could electronically lower or raise and had a bunch of USB ports built in. I imagine this would be very handy for anyone wanting to get some work done in the room. The true jewel of this property is the club lounge, located on the top floor it has absolutely stunning views of the city and is the largest I've seen yet so even though breakfast was extremely busy, we still found seating. Breakfast consisted of eggs, french toast some breakfast meats plus a chacuterie and cheese platter, fruits, croissants etc. There was plenty to choose from and the quality was quite good. They do a really nice affternoon spread staring at 5pm that could easily take care of dinner with hot foods, chacuterie and even nice little dishes full of pickeled vegetables. My only complaint would be tht the bar service was very pricey. Also a couple of the attendants weren't very friendly and it was very challenging to get information about Gluten-Free foods for my daughter. The chef even came out at one point to talk to a worker I'd asked and even though I was right there, he didn't look at me or offer to help me find some foods for her. Of course this is only an issue if you're concerned about allergies and the food was plentiful and very good. Overall this is a beautiful property and I'll definitely return.
Where to begin? This hotel is pure luxury and class all the way! The hotel itself is beautiful! The rooms, furnishings, linens, everything is amazing and top of the line. My wife and I visited for a few days and the staff took AMAZING care of us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! Room service dining is delicious! The standout employee was Anissa at the Concierge desk! She went out of her way to add touches to our stay to make it a memorable one. She is a true asset to the Four Seasons Montreal. We will definitely be back!

孟孟The environment is OK, in the city center, 18 kilometers from the airport and more than 1 kilometers from the railway station
When I got there, I just caught up with the elevator and broke down
The service is very good. When it rains, there will be a waiter with an umbrella standing at the door to take you into the car
The breakfast variety is a bit small, but the bread is very fresh and delicious. The girl who served smiled very sweetly. After I ordered hot milk on the first day, when I got there the next day, the girl asked immediately and needed hot milk. Well, the sense of distance is gone all at once, it feels good
The door of the room is a bit thin and not soundproof. Fortunately, foreigners can pass by in the corridor quietly during sleeping hours. There is only one lock in the room, which is a bit insecure for the Chinese; mineral water is not provided in the room. But there is a hot pot, as long as there is it, we Chinese will not be afraid

高高The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel is a perfect hotel in Montreal. Excellent montain view and quiet environment. I think I will back to stay this hotel next vacation.
Love this hotel, so write a review. The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!

GGuest UserThis Hotel turned out to be the best hotel experience we have had! The decor of the hotel is just amazing, the most beautiful woodwork I have ever seen, with other areas being beautifully modern! From the minute we walked in we were taken care of! Our car, our bags and check in were so easy, front desk was excellent! The room was immaculate, very comfortable and a beautiful high end bathroom! The gym is all new equipment and perfect for a workout! Bar George is a great lively bar! We had brunch and lunch in the Bar during our stay and it was delicious! We also ate at the Restaurant and it was an amazing dining experience! They just don't make French food like this anymore!! HUGE compliments to the kitchen!! There was not one staff member that wasn't helpful and so pleasant!! My husband and I agreed that we would go back to Montreal just to stay in this hotel and to dine here again!!

GGuest UserStayed in a 10-bed dorm at M Montreal for the F1 race. So my experience during an incredibly busy weekend might not be the norm. Overall, I had a good stay. Details below. The Good: - Location. It's really fantastic from the airport, to the race track (for me), buses, metro and a Bixi bike station half a block away - Grocery store and pharmacy half a block away too, so convenient. - Kitchen in-house is large and well stocked. But fridge and shelf space is tight so FYI there. - Workroom for remote staff is large but not super equipped as a workspace with outlets. But a nice space and quieter than the kitchen - My dorm was a private room converted into a dorm so we had a bathroom in the room and small kitchen (but with no supplies). Having the sink and fridge was really helpful while staying there. - Privacy curtains and plugs in the bed are great and the locker below is large and works for most bags and extras. - Wifi was solid the entire time, even when doing video and audio calls. Stronger in some parts than others but still good. Items to be aware of: - Neighborhood. It's fine but not great. Lots of unsheltered and unsheltered with mental health issues on the street at all hours screaming and making noise. Police presence around there was constant while I was staying. - Courtyard noise. On weekends it can get loud in that courtyard at all hours. - The mattresses are better than I expected based on other reviews, but they are not great. After 7 days my back was absolutely killing me. I truly don't get why they don't have something with better support but if you're staying for 2-3 days, you're good, longer, be aware. Overall, I would stay again but not for a long visit. The mattresses are that awful. There were still a lot of good points of the hostel though so I would recommend it to others. - Water pressure in shower is awful, but functional.

GGuest UserA small hotel located in a very convenient location in Chinatown. The facilities are old and the lights are dim. Apart from the great location and the large room, there seems to be nothing to boast about. The service is average, the breakfast is average, and the attitude is average. By the way, the tea bar in the restaurant can be used all the time. I only discovered this when I was about to leave. Don't miss it.

GGuest UserIt’s a little pricey for what you’re getting. If you don’t care if you’re in a Hilton or Marriott or want a swimming pool, we’d recommend staying closer to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or Centre Bell as that’s where there are a ton of really good restaurants so dinner is easier to find. If you want to stay in a known hotel chain, there is a Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn in this area. Pros - complimentary continental breakfast for Diamond members - on site parking and there is an elevator that takes you to the lobby - swimming pool/gym floor has 2 nice outdoor balconies with view - spacious room - mini frig and microwave in the room (no need to request and no extra charge) - decently centrally located – kind of halfway between most of the major sights. Cons - hot tub broke the 2nd night - other guests were rude and loud especially at the pool - ice machines were broken on 3 consecutive floors (2 of them put the broken sign on the machine inside the room) - no view from room window - breakfast was pricey and not fully complimentary as stated on confirmation but instead a credit for C$36 per day or $C$18 per person per day (credit cannot be saved and carried over); if you use it wisely and just get that amount worth of food/coffee you should be ok because then it’s just a tip. If you aren’t wise, then you’re at the mercy of your waiter. Different staff treat the charges differently – one charged us C$64.68 (after the credit and before taxes) for breakfast for 4: one C$25.95 buffet, one C$16 two egg platter, 2 small chocolate croissants and some fruit, and oatmeal with bacon. When we asked for some fruit, the waitress offered a fruit platter – we didn’t know any better so we said ok and got a huge platter full of unripe melon. So we paid less for a huge dim sum than we did for an ok breakfast. -C$34.99 + taxes per day for on site parking which can be challenging. You first pull into a teeny drive in area and have to check in before you can get access to the parking lot. The parking spaces are very small and the driving lane turns are super tight. For C$387 a night at Hilton Garden Inn Montreal Centre-Ville, we’re going to try the DoubleTree by Hilton in Montreal before we stay here again.

GGuest UserVery nice lobby and friendly front desk staff. The location is both a positive and a negative - it's so central to McGill University, shopping, restaurants, etc, but my room was facing the main street and it was extremely noisy at all hours of the night and day! There was construction going on across the street that continued up until midnight and then started again around 5-6 am! I'm so glad I had earplugs but still! I asked to be moved, but the front desk staff said there were no free rooms available. I think the least that they could have done was provide a discount for rooms facing the street, because it was extremely loud at all hours. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows, and were it not for the noise, it would have been an extremely comfortable stay. The room was quite large, and included a mini fridge and coffee maker. What I don't understand about this hotel room (not sure they are all the same) is that they had blackout curtains but only for half of the window! It was impossible to close them all the way because the curtain rod was split into two non-joining pieces! Why in the world would anyone have blackout curtains that could not be closed, thus defeating their entire purpose? We were in fact worried about people from adjacent buildings being able to see into our rooms at night, because while there was a sheer curtain that covered the whole window, it was physically impossible to close our curtains! The reason I gave three stars instead of more was due to the noise and the lack of curtains - otherwise, it would have been a 5 star stay.
