The Manor

The Manor has a wonderful old world charm, with excellent service, spotless accommodation. There are spots that need a little TLC, but these do not detract at all from the rnjoyment of the place. It is so good to see them operating when so many family fun businesses are closing down. The restaurant meals are absolutely delicious - there were 9 of us an no one had a meal that they didn't love. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The surroundings are peaceful. The Manor is 2 minute walk from Gallery Walk. It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my husband's 70th. We all decided that it is somewhere we would be more than happy to return to.

I really wanted to like this place, I really did, but unfortunately there were too many negative things that made our stay less than optimum. I can forgive a large sign at the entrance that is tatty and even many old cobwebs at the checkin desk, however when we walked into the entry of the accommodation block were were confronted with two big piles of bags of dirty linen. Initially thought that it was a bit unfortunate that we had arrived before housekeeping had finished for the day, however these two piles remained there throughout our stay. The other major turnoff was that the building and our room was COLD. Sure, it was the middle of winter, but the front door was left open throughout the day and there was no heating at all despite an open fireplace that would have added much to the ambience but was never lit during our time there. We also just could not get warm in our room, with strong drafts making the RCAC and the electric heater ineffective. The bathroom was icy. That said, The Manor was quirky and “olde world”. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our visit, we had been looking forward to lunch and dinner at the place. Not much midweek choice for dinner at Tambourine Mountain during our stay. The Manor is in an excellent location at one end of the shopping ***** and across the road from the brewery. What we paid represented good value, and without the above faults I would have given 4 stars.

This is the second time our friends group have stayed at this establishment and it is absolutely awesome the staff are very friendly and helpful even though they are battling with staff shortages and all the Covid conundrums. Yet with all this the staff fall over themselves to do what ever they can to make your stay enjoyable. I recommend this establishment highly. 5 stars as far as I'm concerned.

This has been our second visit to the mountain manor with our social circle and yet again it didn't disappoint (to actually going to the effort of writing a review). From having to reschedule our initial dates (due to covid) to finally arriving , Shay and the team have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. The meals have been wonderful , the bar service amazing and the rooms very accommodating( the water pressure WOW) . No hesitation in returning next year with a bigger group. We can't wait!! Thank you

Gardens are Beautiful and well maintained, Pickle Ball Courts & Pool great. Rooms are very tied and bathrooms are in urgent need of renovation, linen was clean our bed needed the mattress replacing. Even though they advertise that they are open for Breakfast & lunch every day they weren't, blaming the lack of a Chef, surely anyone can cook breakfast. We had friends who stayed for a couple of nights after us 4 and the restaurant was closed on the Friday night. Unfortunately you have just lost 6 people who will not be stying again. It is disappointing because we have all been staying there for over 15 years apart from the last 4 years due to illness and then COVID and have had some great memories.

Just arrived in Tamborine Mt lateish on Friday arvo - my GF's Birthday feeling like a Burger with Pommery Champers watching the Sun melt into the cloud veiled mountains to the west. So punched in 'burger food' - 'The Manor' came up so I rang to suss it out hung up 40sec's later to pick up shortly we had 2 Vege's with a Vege Grill they were simple but still smashed it out of the park - totally hit the spot for us! While I was picking up noticed they had some yummy cakes so picked up a couple of slices for desert... the GF was blown away and so was I! The most affordable I have come across in a long while too! Could not have had a better B'day sunset meal... I almost wanted to stay at the Manor - great beer deck and a resturant oozing with the old world ambience and charm! Give it a Go from any direction You choose Amazing...

The Manor is well located close to most of the touristy shops at Tamborine Mountain. Staff were friendly, attentive and proactive in their service e.g. the restaurant wasn't open for dinner so they offered to provide local recommendations. Due to staffing there was a limited menu for lunch and what we ordered was ok but on a quality/quantity/price perspective, it was disappointing. However the beer was nice and cold. The Manor really is a lovely old building with lots of character and worth a look. What concerned me however was the bedrooms, which although well set out and beautiful, with a strong smell of mold when we first entered the room. The source was the ceiling in the bathroom which was flacking and lots of black mold which I believe could be a health risk - noting my wife is asthmatic,

This is a lovely, quaint, period motel. Beautiful, clean. Very handy to the gallery walk Really friendly helpful owners. Beaut restaurant with lovely meals, A fresh rose on every table, Really very welcoming family and staff
