Perfect getaway for us, just what we needed. Walked to the Bailey,s Irish pub up the road and had a great night. Next night went to St Bernard’s pub on the free shuttle bus. Will be back again with some friends.

Convenient for touring the area, including Tweed Gallery and Murwillumbah. All rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The host was helpful and obliging. Great atmosphere in the lounge area downstairs. A bit like a BnB without the breakfast. Walking distance to greet cafe for breakfast/coffee. Close to plenty of eateries/hotels. Interesting garden area. Terrific value for money and way more interesting than your everyday "resort". Quiet for a relaxing couple of nights .Can't fault it really.

We stayed for 3 nights at this very unique accommodation. The photos are absolutely accurate and the property is even more wonderful in person. It is located a very short drive from both the North Tambourine shops and the more touristy Gallery Walk. We stayed in the downstairs room at the back of the property which was a very simple room with King bed and ensuite/spa. It was spotlessly clean and it looked out to the incredible tropical garden. There was a common lounge nicely decorated with a Scottish theme and Nespresso coffee and tea always available for guests, The hosts were polite and there if needed by ringing a little bell, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy the property as if it was our own home. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Mount Tambourine.

We chose this place because of the good reviews and were not disappointed: when you come in you feel like you are in a wonderful castle, everything is super organized and clean. We had a wonderful, huge room with a wonderful view of the garden, a very comfortable king-size bed and a large bathroom. With a whirlpool, which we really enjoyed after our strenuous hikes. Everything is super well organized for the guests, there is a folder with lots of recommendations. In the room we were given tips for a really delicious breakfast, for example. It's just a shame that we could only stay one night, because this place is wonderful for relaxing and is therefore worth five stars.

My husband and I were fortunate to be able to stay in the newly opened suite. Every need is catered for from a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge/dining area, a king size bed and huge bathroom, airconditioners/heaters, and set in beautiful, manicured gardens with a running creek. Easy walking distance or short drive to restaurants and scenic spots. All in all, a beautiful, serene few days and we'll certainly be back. Hats off to the owners, Alan and Tania.

We had a wonderful getaway to this beautiful manor house. The gardens are lovely, and although it's on a main road, it is serene and tranquil yet still close to town. The hosts were wonderful. Highly recommended.
