The breakfast is horrible. The coffee and hot chocolate have no taste at all. The music is so loud all day and night long. Never again!

The resort hotel has a good overall vacation experience with good food, accommodation and entertainment. It is very close to the beach. The hotel has water park facilities and three swimming pools. There are sometimes performances in the evening. The food is good and the price/performance ratio is acceptable.

I will put some photo and everybody into thinking about holiday on this hotel because the photo explain everything , room is very dirty raining inside I change three rooms and seven days because one is very dirty one two days no electricity on the room put the photo should be clean everything for you guys and food is the same every day

Please check the pics. I should nit add anything. I wasted my time complaining over my holidays to Riu Vacanze Granai, Tour operator Eden Viaggi, to a guest relations manager, director hotel and reception,when I wanted just unwind and switch off. I have been in Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Oman a lot of times. First time happens to me we got 4 on 4 intestinal virus, we found lack of hygiene, they did not clean the table cloths after it was used by a different customer, I have seen a waiter checking used (by a previous customer )cutleries and put them back into the drawer!! Ready to reset the table !! The sea is amazing but look at the pics of the beach! Awful. Guest relations manager did what he did but the hotel us not refurbished!!!! At all. We found cockroach in the rooms. We spoke to other italian customers and we all complained about the lack of hygiene in the restaurant. Lukewarm food never hot and bacteria are going to reborn! Cross contamination:they used the same tongs to cook row chicken and cooked food!!! This is the foundation guys! Do you want your guest get sick? Got it! From the website the hotel locks nice and new. The Riu Vacanze Agency Granai in Rome say it is refurbished! Eden Viaggi took money clearly to put it in their website, we know how the business works. Do not go there if you want a nice and comfortable holiday as it should be.

The hotel is very dirty, It doesn't deserve a single star!!! Everything is very dirty, the rooms are very dirty, I changed 3 rooms in 7 days. It's disgusting I do not recommend this Hotel to anyone. It is a total disaster I am sorry that I chose this hotel and wasted my time and money.

for it. More people came to check in and waited for their turn, but the receptionist told us to sit down and wait, he did not give us the keys even though we were the first ones there. I felt like I was being punished for asking for change and a room at sea. We waited another 40 minutes, we told the employee that we wanted our keys because it was late, he replied that we could wait. When he finally found time for us, he gave to us the key to the room. He didn’t explain where is the lift, where is the restaurant, pools, nothing at all. we reached the room and found the room dirty. There were traces of sand in the shower, garbage in the bin, hair on the tiles, dirty sink, dirty glasses and water around the toilet. we reached the room and found the room dirty. In the morning we went straight to the reception, the another employee didn’t what hear what we want to say to them, she just assured us that the room will be cleaned as soon as possible. She said: how we can be unhappy, it is beautiful room - it was dirty because the cleaners are not working on Saturdays… ridiculous ! They don’t even apologized for the situation. The rest of our stay haven’t been perfect. The hotel is dirty, the service in restaurants are very rude, they are avoiding people, not friendly at all. Every day, they been serving the same food. We waste money and our time spending there 6 days instead of 7. We have raised the claim to love holiday but hotel said they don’t have any evidence that we were unhappy about our room! They are cheating. Don’t book this hotel if you want spend nice time. Not recommended !!!! This is not 4 star hotel !

We arrived at the Hotel at 5 am and it looked deserted apart from one desk clerk ( American horror story spring to mind ) we paid for a standard room , on entering the darkness was overwhelming , and so much blank space , it’s tired , very very tired and needs a lot of work in the hall ways and communal areas . The 1st room was two single beds and without asking moved us to room 441 , overlooking the pool and the sea . The room is the barest I have ever seen , no frills , no kettle or tea or coffee , completely white including furnishings , the bed was huge but solid . Balcony no light and one plastic chair . Overall very depressing ,We slept well though . Morning and left our room , the carpets are horrid , stained ripped and dirty . The hall ways remind me of a 1970s neglected hospital , very drab and run down . The whole place inside at night is depressingly dark and there’s so much space a few nice pictures , vases and TLC could make it wonderful . Our room was cleaned daily by a cheery little lady who was so sweet and left petals and made the towels into wonderful shapes . No one can knock the cleanliness of the hotel , it’s spotless . Restaurant much better , food average but edible but like warm , but hey that’s a buffet all inclusive , waiting staff amazing , we did tip 10 dinar to our waiter every day he was amazing , we aren’t real drinkers but the all Inclusive drinks were fine and very strong ,thank you Ousamma and a big thank you to Taher both genuinely lovely men . The pools are lovely and loads of room and sun beds . Again we tipped the lifeguard Samir who looked after us every day , had our beds ready for us with extra cushions as I had a bout of sciatica . On-site shop ( don’t bother ) tat . Entertainment was geared towards the children which was fine , we went to bed most nights at 10 . There was a great solo singer singing outside the bar one night , he was exceptional . However the animation team were lovely and so friendly , they greeted us many times during the day . Michael and Daddou shine through they are amazing and they work so hard .anything we needed to know Daddou had the answer . There’s not a lot to do off complex unless you get a taxi into Hammamet or a local market . We did go to the beach which was stunning , also did the paragliding (£35.00 ) for two , bargain . In short you get what you pay for , this break was one just to relax and it was cheap and cheerful . A 4star most definitely not , I would say a 2 at most . Would we go again , no purely for the hotel , but for the staff yes . If it hadn’t of been for the staff we would have been completely deflated .

We have just got back from a very pleasant stay at golden tulip. Staff are super friendly, food is good with a variety of options. Pools are well maintained, hotel could do with a little renovation but didn't bother us as it was clean. I would like to give a special mention to the entertainment team, they were amazing! Especially Alex who made Our stay enjoyable and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time!!! Would return for him alone!! Really nice, polite young man. My daughters will never forget how wonderful he made our stay! A few pointers.... You get hit with a unexpected tourism tax upon check in, didn't know anything about this so was unexpected. Not loads but be mindful. I didn't give a 5 star for one reason, there is a nightclub right opposite the hotel which some nights went on until 3.30am, the music was incredibly loud and we lost a lot of sleep, a real shame for this hotel. In hindsight if I had know I would have requested a room at the back of the hotel away from the noise, the annoying thing is I learnt the most nights there were less than 10 people in the nightclub, all that noise for a handful of people is annoying! One more point, buy a really good fly repellant spray, a brand called trek worked 100% another guest offered me some, the flies are mad, there's so many and it becomes annoying, will bring some repellant next time. All in all a very pleasant stay made even better by the lovely friendly staff at golden tulip

The hotel is generally ok, although there are some issues. The shower was leaking, the carpet in the hall in front of our room smelled bad and we came across some bugs on it. But the cleaning crew was ok. The food was delicious, the waiters were polite and professional (especially Ali ❤️). The bartenders were also very pleasant during conversations. But the best impression on us was made by the animation team. Each of them is a great person, they are very friendly. Thanks to them our vacation was unforgettable. They kept coming to us and encouraging us to do different activities. The animation team gives us so much positive energy that we are considering coming back here next year! Thank you! Michael, Dadou, Djou, Kiki, Tito and the others whose names I don't remember. You are the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Maybe the review looks like a buy, but I am delighted and I will miss them.

Our stay at the hotel in Tunisia was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel truly valued. We especially want to highlight the bar staff – Hamzaoui, Salim, Taher, Atef, and Ilyes – who always made sure we were in a good mood and provided excellent service. A special thanks goes to Taher, Hamzaoui, and Atef, who went above and beyond to make our vacation even more enjoyable. The food was varied and delicious, and the entertainment was great – there was something for everyone! It was the perfect balance between relaxation and fun. We came from Vienna, Austria, and would definitely return anytime. We highly recommend this hotel and want to extend a big thank you to the entire team!
