While our trip was golf-focused, we could have played lawn bowls on some of the best grass greens around, played croquet, swam, had a hit of tennis, watched a movie in a real theatre, or just lazed around in the comfortable restaurant/bar area. The grounds were meticulously maintained with maintenance happening regularly during the day. Every single staff member we met, hospitality through to golf, were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to work there. Many other motels should review the room amenities on offer - we experienced a home away from home with the equipment and utensils in the room. No stay is 100% perfect and a minor grizzle would be the firmness of the beds. That's it. I would highly recommend staying there and will definitely be back, sooner rather than later.
