The hotel has made a lot of trouble again well. Very clean, modern, priced top and a super breakfast buffet. The neighborhood is quiet, it was very pleasant. The rooms are small but it's all there you need.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! This charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way, making my trip to Munich truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. They were always available to provide helpful recommendations, whether it was suggesting local restaurants or providing directions to nearby attractions. Their genuine warmth and willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel like a valued guest.

Hotel staff is nice, room is clean and hotel is located in a nice but quiet area. It’s near the tech companies so good business hotel for employees who travel in for work. It’s about 3 minutes to the nearest subway - just google to KFC, the nearest subway is just next to itZ however it’s not the most convenient subway as the most convenient is the Olympia Einkaufzentrum one as it’s has more connections. There’s a small dishwasher provided so it’s convenient but if you want to wash the dishes manually, there is no dishwashing liquid provided so you have to buy your own. Washers and dryers are located at the basement of the hotel, so not in your room. There’s an app that we have to download to book and pay for the washer and dryer, yes it’s extra charge. No clothes detergent is provided so we have to buy our own - there’s no dispenser at the wash and dry area where one can easily buy the washing detergent. The hotel also doesn’t sell any. We had expected the hotel to at least provide some washing detergent, so don’t get caught without clothes detergent at night, if you plan to wash your clothes at night as the shops are closed after 8 pm… Overall it was a good experience except for the few inconveniences. As a first time visitor to Munich, probably one would want to stay at a location closer to the old town or city area as we found ourselves commuting about half hour every day to the attractions or where we wanted to go.

TL;TR: We had a terrible experience. AC doesn't work properly (the lowest temperature setting was 24 and the hotel couldn't do anything about that). Not worth the money. In case of any problems, do not count on reasonable compensation if they offer you compensation at all. Management is rude and receptionists will misinform you if that suits the hotel's interest. The hotel is far from anything, including reliable public transport. --------------------------------------- OPINION: 1. Our AC did not work (the lowest setting was 24C) - they offered to open a window... to the noisy highway next door; as compensation, we were offered 2 drinks! 2. Do not trust their Clean Promise policy! The cleaning Service does not do their job properly. We think some places are left uncleaned: there were breadcrumbs on the table left and the sink also had a few dirt marks left. 3. The place is far from anything, including reliable busses that occasionally do not arrive at all after 8 PM and you need to take a 20-25 mins walk from the train station. 4. They are very delicate if you say ”hurtful” but true things to them and they like to argue with a client instead of making things better. --------------------------------------- REPLY TO Lisa Neumeir General Manager: Unless you change your reply, everyone now will see how unprofessional you are. First, you lie, and you put words into other's people mouths: - I never said you ”treated me with hostility”, I said you were rude, - I never said ”Cool the room down to 10 degrees”, we wanted the temperature below 24, you and your employee knew and saw the problem and couldn't do anything about it, - I never in our exchange mentioned booking the wrong hotel because that was not the problem - I have no idea how you made such an irrelevant connection and what is going on up there. Finally, you continue misleading people. Yes, you immediately offered ”2 drinks on the house” but it clearly(!) was not enough for the problems we met, but... If did not understand the difference between a refund and compensation. After huge problems, you offered us a room change... on the very last night (you expected us to move to another room with all our things after 8 PM when we returned to the hotel?). And, you never offered ”the total amount back” but just one night when we expected 2 nights for the inconvenience caused. Lisa, you clearly do not know how to speak and how to treat a client in a respectable way when a problem appears, so they recommend you later. We will never want to have anything to do with not just your hotel but the whole brand of Holiday Inn Express.

Köberl is basic. It's a no-frills hotel tucked away in a backyard, surrouned by garages and lots for used car sales. On the positive side: it's easy to reach from Neuaubing S-bahn station (ca 10 mins on foot) and the S-bahn takes you to central Munich smoothly. The room I was in had a bed, a cupboard, a shower, a TV, a table and a chair (I was travelling solo, hence only one chair). Toilets are shared in the communal hall. The bed was comfortable and the room really had everything I needed. The staff was cheerful and greeted me well and the place was clean and generally well-kept, albeit a bit worn. The wifi worked fine. On the downside, the place could do with some TLC and general renovations. The noise from the hall was annoying. There was no way to come in or leave your room without the whole corridor hearing the bangs from the closing doors or the loud, echoing locks. There was a fridge in my room, but it wasn't plugged in and just generally gave the impression that it had been dumped there. Also, two of four power sockets in the room didn't work. I didn't have breakfast or use the restaurant/bar, so I can't have an opinion on that.

Close to the train station and subway light rail transportation is very convenient, daily cleaning and cleaning are also very careful and clean, but the attitude of the counter staff is not very good, plus living on the first floor is a bit noisy

I liked it so much. It's new and clean, but the interior is really pretty Not near Munich Central Station, but transportation is not bad because it is within walking distance from Munich-Pasing station The staff were friendly and I would like to stay at this hostel again next time I go to Munich

Very good service in all areas! The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. Eating in the restaurant is very delicious. Waiting times are short. Beautiful is the outer area directly on the sea. For celebrations, the exclusive boat house is especially recommended.
