Hotels Near Karusa in Munich

The hotel was old, but maintained. The area is excellent with the main station next to it. If you're coming by plane, prefer to come to the hotel by the Lufthansa bus., which stops outside it. The breakfast nothing special.

What can you expect from a hotel where in the presentation photos there are only vases, well nothing. I would take away one star from the hotel because it has more than a star, it is more of a hostel than a hotel. Everything was broken or damaged. The breakfast was painful, we had to go buy things to have breakfast since there were four basic things. Soft bread, a little sausage, three different pieces of fruit, water and bad coffee. The rooms did not have a tap in the cold water sink, only boiling water came out, they had curtains instead of screens. The beds had no sheets, bottoms or blankets, just a duvet to put over us. Thank goodness the heating worked well because if it hadn't it would have been even worse. We asked them for some sheets to leave us and they said yes but when we arrived at night they didn't leave us anything. The hotel reception closed at 10 pm and you had to have your own key to enter the building. The women who ran the breakfast buffet were very stupid, they didn't pay attention to you and they just screamed and waved their hands at us to get us to leave their side. The only thing that was good is the location next to the train station and about 10 minutes from the city center. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. When we left our suitcases until the afternoon because our flight didn't leave, they left them at the same reception without being stored in a room like in other hotels.

We stayed here during Oktoberfest and the hotel was full but the only time you would notice was at breakfast. Big kudos to the staff who kept the breakfast area stocked and clean, they deserve a bonus because it was super busy. Breakfast was way better quality than what we get in the U.S. Our room was on the second floor and our view was the train yard. The windows are very good at keeping out the city noise and the hotel is designed well to reduce noise from other patrons. Room was clean except for some stains on the sofa upholstery and desk chair. Not sure why hotels used upholstered furniture that is tough to clean. Shower was good, plenty of hot water. Towels were too thin, they cheaped out on the towels. Location is good. Metro, tram and bus are very close by. Stephanie at the front desk was very helpful at checkout.

We had a fabulous time visiting this I believe newly opened hotel! As the lounge is only opening later this month we have received alternative offerings in the bar which were delicious. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to come back once the lounge has opened!

This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at. We loved the room. Ours came with a little kitchen area. We felt like we were staying in a modern episode of “tiny house”. The lobby area is large and inviting. We were meet by a friendly and accommodating staff who meet all our our needs. Wonderful stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the A&O Laim and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to find my room to be clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The modern decor and cozy ambiance instantly put me at ease, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. With a wide variety of options ranging from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty eggs and breads, there was something to satisfy every palate. The dining area was spacious and well-maintained, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional service. They were always available to provide helpful recommendations, whether it was suggesting local restaurants or providing directions to nearby attractions. Their genuine warmth and willingness to go the extra mile truly made me feel like a valued guest.

It’s next to the metro, Very friendly and helpful receptionists. The rooms are clean and nice. You don't want to leave at all :)

The rooms are advertised as apart-hotel rooms for longer stays, but they are small and they mostly just traded a proper size wardrobe for a space for a kitchen sink and a microwave. The website says ”Kitchenette” but you can't really cook anything... Also, no dish soap or sponge is provided, and you have to grab plates and cutleries yourself from the restaurant area downstairs. This could easily be fixed. Also the website says there is a desk but there really isn't. What you get is a small coffee table with a low seat. Impossible to seat and expect to work comfortably on it. No laundry service or washing machines available in the hotel either. The receptionist pointed me to the mall to clean my clothes, which is very far if you don't have a car. They should at least have a partnership with external laundry service and organize pickups... Other than that, the staff was super friendly and professional. Nice hotel design, clean and good breakfast too. So I would recommend the place only for short stays.

Facilities: Typical business standards. Breakfast is OK. There are Chinese waiters so you don’t have to worry about English. The sound insulation effect is very good. It only costs ten euros to take a taxi to the passenger terminal. There are cars at the door, which is very convenient.

Directly near the motorway, sufficient parking, everything clean and clean, good breakfast, careful staff and overall very child-friendly, therefore also absolutely recommended for families. Room was also clean, with the outfit sofa for the kids no longer very big, but it was all enough to sleep (we were on the way over the day). We're happy to come back!
