A beautiful hotel perfectly located in middle of Mysore. Large comfortable rooms with good balconies. Friendly staff. Historical interest with lots of old photographs. Food service in courtyard dining area very slow though . Great food but waited around 30 minutes sometimes for ordering and getting food.

Beautiful hotel, stunning room and a great meal in the restaurant. Reception/porter staff were great. Lost a star purely because the waiter staff both evening meal and breakfast gave the impression they were not interested. My chair was wet after rain and I was offered it to sit on, no cushion etc. And the breakfast was mediocre to average at best. The evening meal itself was really good. We would come back.

Excellent stay, lovely heritage hotel, clean comfortable, staff are delightful and can’t do enough. Dining is delicious. Huge breakfast with all Indian elicacies. Bindiya, Jagadeesha, Suva Lingam and everyone else couldn’t have been nicer.

I had stayed here a couple of times during my earlier visits to mysore, but this time around, i was blown away! We stayed in the heritage room and its simply brilliant. they are completely refurbished and can be compared to any 5 star hotel. Superb rooms, spacious and clean with a nice balcony. The hotel gives you a royal feel. We loved the open air restaurant, its beautiful. Food and service are top notch, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. the location is great as well and close to the city center and all the popular landmarks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it is THE place of choice if you are looking to stay in Mysore.

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at the Royal Orchid Metropole. My room was spacious and very clean with modern amenities but a strong historical atmosphere. We enjoyed visiting the spa for massages, and the buffet breakfast and courtyard restaurant served reliably good food. The staff members were so helpful in arranging drivers for sightseeing and answering all our questions. The location is also really convenient. This was my first trip to Mysore, but this hotel was highly recommended to me by someone who is a regular business traveler. I hope to return and would definitely stay here again.
