Wow what a pleasant stay. The hotel is fantastic. The room was amazing and clean. Staff are so friendly and the food was gorgeous. Drinks at the bar after dinner and a lovely sleep in a huge bed topped it all off. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Visited this lovely hotel last Thursday with my partner for one night, the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer , can’t wait to revisit. From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out . We couldn’t fault a thing. Receptionist on check in very friendly and helpful and explained everything to us . Got to our bedroom which was lovely and spacious and spotless clean . Decided to have some food in the main bar ( The Bistro) , from food to service we could not fault a thing . Well done to the chefs , mouthwatering bar menu, next time we visit we definitely will try the restaurant for sure . After the meal we decided to go for a walk and explore the grounds of the hotel to walk off the fullness from the lovely food we had in the bar , beautiful grounds and trails/ walkway around the hotel . After the walk we came back to the bar for some Lovely cocktails which were very nice . Breakfast the next morning was outstanding and plenty to choose from the cold buffet and the hot breakfast was very tasty and again outstanding service from the breakfast staff . After the breakfast we had spa treatments booked in and have to say one of the best treatments we had in a long time and again very friendly and helpful staff in all departments. On checkout we got in talking to the general manager Ger I think is his name who was in the lobby and happened to ask us , how our stay was . He informed us that the hotel was recently taking over by FBD hotel group and that they are in the middle of some changes. Very well done to Ger and all the team at Kilashee hotel , one Of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this hotel for any occasions or gatherings. I stayed here for business. One night in December 2023 and again in February 2024. I stayed here alone because... business. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Reception have been kind enough to check me in early on both occasions. Food in the bar is decent. Not gourmet but more than good enough for a solo traveller (and I'm a bit of a foodie). Staff are friendly and helpful. Their biggest asset is the barman. I don't know his name but he has a wonderful mustash. He is attentive and friendly which is very much appreciated when you're having dinner alone. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're in Leixslip.

Wow…wow…wow….if there were 10 star hotels this would definitely be one. My husband stayed here recently and decided to book a couple of nights for my birthday. From the minute we arrived, warm welcome, efficient check in, fabulous room with a lovely welcome birthday plate. Decor is truly delightful. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb. Excellent service, help with the wine list and friendly efficient well trained staff in every aspect of the hotel. I was brought some complimentary chocolates with a candle after our very enjoyable dinner. A thoughtful treat. My husband enjoyed a round of golf. My stay only got better when I found out the hotel was running a yoga and wellness weekend in honour of St Brigid. Yoga classes by Mona were very relaxing, a wellness walk around the grounds with Jo were super enjoyable and informative and the day was rounded off with an amazing sound healing session with the wonderful Sue. I have never attended a session like this before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt very spoilt, loved our stay and I am already looking at the calendar to plan a return visit. We rounded off our stay with a visit to the Straffan Inn, a lovely local bar made all the more enjoyable with complimentary drop off and pick up from the hotel. Super service, the staff are superb…I could keep gushing. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Just back from a lovely few days in Carton House. Everything about this hotel was pretty good. Spotlessly clean, food was lovely and the staff are all very friendly. Bar food in the clubhouse is very good and breakfast, served in beautiful part of the original house is delicious. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Most of which are in the new part of the hotel. Ground are lovely and beautifully maintained. All in all a most enjoyable few days was had, I’ll hopefully be back.

The breakfast is rich and nutritious! The parking lot is also free, the location is moderate, 20km from the airport, 20 minutes by car, almost the same as the city, but the price is 30% cheaper
