Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam Reviews

Hotel was right within Grand Batam Mall, where you can find everything needed! Since it’s new amenities were great, infinity pool at level 8 was an highlight. Staff service were also great, front desk and security make you feel safe and welcoming every time you enter/exit. Thou Price it’s slightly steep, but definitely worth the value. Great choice!

New facility with strategic location. Just right beside Grand Mall.

The location is great and super convenient - just opposite grand batam mall. Can shop whenever you want. The swimming pool is great too. The room was big but the room was dusty here and there, could be better. Other than that, everything is superb!

Hotel is relatively new. The location was good as it was next to grand Batam mall with easy accessibility. There’s always room for improvement to stay on top of the choices among hotels, so keep it up!

The location is very good, right in Grand Batam mall. It is clean and comfortable inside. I like their staff the most, they are very kind, friendly and polite. I booked a room at the last minute in the middle of the night and called for help (room booking service). They also attach great importance to politeness and help. I hope they can maintain a high level of service and I will choose here next time.

New Hotel, all working in the room Bed and duvet was perfect, big flat screen Bathroom was modern and all accessories were present. Most importantly the hotel has kept the new Genz in mind as the mirror has the Ring lights which will help new generation to keep making the reels. Wifi was good, decent breakfast in the morning but more Asian.

Booked an impromptu 2night stay for the family. Pre-arrival A little chaotic as there was no email confirmation received. Ascot reservations hotline was unable to assist but Willy Manalu (on-site Reservations Team) was extremely helping in assuring the booking did go through. Upon arrival Check-in process was a breeze. Arriving earlier than the regular check-in wave starts. Tiffany (Manager) made sure to welcome all guests personally. Both rooms were prepped and ready to receive us. There were some technical hiccups with the key card which was resolved quickly. Staff Willy & Tiffany are definitely an asset for Oakwood. Their attention to detail is commendable. They make guests feel right at home. Breakfast Limited spread, but understandable for a new hotel. A cost effective approach to avoid wastage. Overall A great location, easily accessible by taxi or private hire. Near malls and eateries.

Hotel was clean and staff were all friendly. We were greeted by smiles. Check in and check out process was seamless. Requests were met quite promptly. Security staff went out of the way to even hold the traffic flow for us (with children) to cross over to the mall. Breakfast variety was ok but it feels us. We could have breakfast while watching our kids swim as the bistro has indoor/outdoor seating. Hotel arrangement was greatly taken care of by Rivo. Thank you Oakwood Team!

I have booked this brand new hotel for my family outing for thr weekend. The location is just a minute from the best mall in Batam. The hotel is a 5 stars property with modern and stylish furniture and decoration. You feel so cosy and comfy exactly like home . The general manager has welcomed us in the lobby of the hotel and has escorted us to the room. The welcome drink is amazing. The rooms are super clean, comfortable, cozy and have great views over the batam city . Do not miss the sunset while you swim at the amazing pool. We have tried the BBQ on Saturday night. A great variety of yummy food. Breakfast is not to be missed , the variety and quality of food is of high standards. The staff is super friendly and always greet us with our name. Definitely we will be back and recommend it to our friends. Keep up the good job . It’s something else that you cannot find on the island of Batam as the property reflects international standards of service and also the quality of the product.

classy hotel but does not have the quality of service and products that match a star hotel, when we entered the hotel we found the reception staff were unfriendly and did not match the service we got with the price paid, also at breakfast the food was cold and not fresh, it should be a luxury and classy hotel like This has a quality chef, it doesn't display products like not in a star hotel, it is not recommended to stay in a hotel like this which displays very poor food quality
