I was looking for a cheap hotel in the brick, because I just arrived from the lion and the ship to the landing went missing. I was a little bit skeptical about this hotel, because the price was cheap, but when I entered the room, The room is not large but not too narrow, clean, comfortable and beyond my expectations. maybe later if transit again, I will stay in this hotel directly back.

GGuest UserI make my booking at Agoda for 3D2N.We booked Executive Loft with slide.It cost us about SGD334.It can accomodate maximum 6pax.Consist of 2 bedroom,living room ,2 bathroom and a balcony.One room consist of king bed .The other room consist of 1 king and a single bed.Living room have sofabed.There's shower and bathtub too.All bedroom is at the loft.For first time choosing the hotel,we don't know where exactly the place is,the taxi driver also not quite sure where the place is,we keep looking left and right for the hotel name,till lastly we spot a signboard at the end of the building stated Manuka by Havis.Their lobby is quite small.I don't know if I can say it a hotel though,because they don't have breakfast,no spa no nothing,coz their place is surrounded with spa's and eatery, you can juz come down and have ur breakfast,lunch or dinner within the area.BCS and Grand batam mall is juz walking distant.And the famous itsumo cafe is juz behind the hotel.There's korean restaurant/coffeshop that are halal juz behind the hotel too.Their staff is friendly and helpful .The price actually too pricey,but overall I love my stay here.I enjoy playing the slide,hahaha.Me and my family really have a great stay.Thank you. PROS: the area is spacious. have s small kitchenette, u can cook there. but no utensils though. they have pots and pans. incld fork and spoon have microwave plates,cups.. Fridge CONS: u have to go down to use the bathroom as the bedroom is on top. balcony light is too dim for the night and there's no kind of shelter if we like to sit outside on a sunny day. charging phone is like a disaster for me because it didn't charge even we charged our phone for the whole day,it is really frustrating.we have to change our charging place here and there to make it work,really annoying if u can't charge ur phone though.do something boss.Thank u FYI please bring your universal plug.Most of their power socket is the EU kind of socket.using the round plug.

Service:
- Receptionist was very helpful with helping us pinpoint the location to order grabcar to our destinations
- If you need morning call to your room, just inform the counter receptionist.
Facilities:
- Room was cleaned
- Toilet was cleaned
- Bedsheet slightly got some small stained / Pillow okay
- Hope can improve more on the Wifi signal (Weak inside the room as wifi keep getting disconnected, okay near the door area only)
- Room service to clean up the room was great as well.
- Hotel provided toothbrush, towels, shampoo & bodywash
- Overall, the room was in great condition
- If you are super light sleeper, this hotel might not be suitable for you as the road street is quite near to the hotel
- Didn't book the hotel with breakfast, there breakfast option with the restaurant & cafe at the top floor (Tower A)
- If you need some in-house massage or body scrub, can head over to (Tower B) floor 3
- Can choose between smoking or non-smoking room on your own preference

GGuest UserHotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel from 28 to 31 dec. Had a connecting room. Spacious room. Surrounded with local eateries. 5 to 10mins drive from hotel to Nagoya Mall. Staffs at reception and housekeeping were very pleasant and accommodative. Breakfast is very basic but tasteful. Highly recommended.

DDwiDentistFirst experience of staying here, and it was quite satisfactory. Choosing this hotel because of its strategic location (it happened that this trip to Batam did not take a private car as usual). Arrive at the hotel at 11 o'clock and it's nice to have a room ready (Grand Deluxe - 2 Queen Beds) even though the consequences are not suitable for City View special request; if you want to stay City View, you must wait for this check-out time normal. But it's OK, the important thing is that you can go straight into the room because the little guy fell asleep again. The reception staff is quite friendly, although it may be more friendly, but yes, yes, it's okay. The lobby is clean, cold and as its name suggests; this hotel is indeed vanilla flavor! For the Grand Deluxe 418 room is very ”worth it” for 350an (tiket.com plus redeem TIX point as big as 124ribu-an ).. the room is quite clean, quite spacious with 2 queen size beds, a lot of hangers hangers provided (and i'm so glad for that! ) clean bathroom, 2 pairs of hotel slippers provided; which is not expecting to get hotel slippers because budget hotels usually don't drink yak ... to Grand Mall, Sushi Tei, Pak Raden, just walk. There are also many food around the hotel, Alfamart next door, and a delicious durian shop! Until this review is written, I haven't tried the atmosphere of the rooftop and the breakfast (it's 3 am in the morning FYI ) but I hope it will be just fine! Overall with a price of 350 thousand, Grand Deluxe room, very satisfied! Recommended hotel for those who do not bring a car; because parking is a bit difficult ya. Keep the good work, Vanilla Hotel!

GGuest UserLocation is just a step away from Nagoya hill mall. Value for money. Only Hollywood room is with king size bed and free coffee and tea. Standard/Smart room is twin and queen bed to choose from. No coffee and tea for smart and standard room, only bottle water is given. Breakfast is simple , don’t aspect too much. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Eateries, spa, barber and all that you need is around the hotel area. Very convenient. Save money on transport. Overall is a great stay. Will stay again. Do note that this hotel is not for guest that aspect a 5/4 star hotel standard with a value of a 2 star hotel.

GGuest UserValue for money. Near to malls, A2 Food court, wet market and local shops. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel room and amenities is as what it was advertised or in the hotel website. It’s comfy enough if you need a place to sleep with air con, toilet, vanity table, hair dryer, towels, a chair, two hangers for standard rooms. You can upgrade a bigger room if you prepare to have a mini bar counter or small table and the space is much bigger. There are no toothbrush or toothpaste in the toilet. So ask from the reception or buy when you are there. Don’t compare a 5 star hotel with a 2 star hotel. You get what you pay for. If you are looking for a hotel with slightly better amenities. There are some nearby. Just pay slightly more yeah. Baloi is one of them. Overall good experience staying in hotel after a few stays on different trips in comparison with other 2 star hotels.

GGuest UserDecent hotel at a good location in Nagoya Hills. The room is spacious, but we were give a smoking room which we did not like. The floor was a bit dirty as well, but overall cleanliness was fine. Beware of the traffic noise which can be quite loud as hotel is along the main road and where motorcycles park.

GGuest UserIt was good before, hence coming back. However, in my opinion, the service is not up to standard now.
The cleaning of room is only upon request and I was not made known.
The room allocated was with no window and too small even for a solo traveller (i need to walk side way and no space for my cabin size luggage).
Loud sound from early morning (630AM local time).
Probably will not be back again. But the location is definitely a plus point.

SStone_manTo be honest, it might have been very high-end when it first opened, but now it looks a bit old, the power of the air conditioner is not bad, the bathroom has ventilation, but there seems to be no hot water, and you can wash it if you are not afraid of the cold
