I stayed here for the second time because my child's school is just across the street from the hotel. It's very convenient to live there. It's very close to the subway station, just a two-minute walk. The hotel is clean and has good service. The front desk saw that there was only one breakfast for two people, so they sent another one. When I checked out, I would come back to ask if there were any dissatisfactions. I took the high-speed train late that day, so the hotel sent afternoon tea when I booked the room. After the late check-out, I had a cup of coffee on the first floor before leaving.

I liked this hotel for the business trip I was on. I usually choose hotels based on whether or not they have a fitness centre which this one did. However the treadmill was quite old and I think an upgrade here would be important. The temperature inside the room was very hot and although we called to see if something could be done about this we were told this was standard across the hotel.

Staying in the state guesthouse in the scenic area is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The exclusive Purple Garden with lush bamboo forests, various rare flowers and trees, valleys, small waterfalls, pavilions and towers are stunning and can entertain you for an hour or two. It is a ten-minute walk to Gate 7 of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum (from Zixia Lake ~ Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum ~ Stone Statue Road ~ Yanque Lake ~ Exit Gate 3 of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum). The Meiling Palace and Wutong Avenue not far from Gate 3 are beautiful in autumn, and the service and hygiene are very thoughtful.

I booked a standard double room, and upon arrival I was upgraded to a deluxe suite with two bathrooms, a large living room and a large bedroom, all with large floor-to-ceiling windows, very comfortable. The breakfast was very rich, with Nanjing specialty salted duck and duck blood vermicelli soup. The service attitude was very satisfactory, and all the staff I met in the hotel were very enthusiastic!

The hotels are located near the style department zone and close to exit no.2 of Guangzicun station. I stayed there on the last day of the year, December 31st, 2023, and the hotel was fully booked. However, I did not experience any uncomfortable events. The breakfast was excellent, with a proper international buffet compared to other Chinese hotels. Overall, I would return and stay on a higher floor for a good view.
