Family-friendly Hotels in Nanjing

Good location, close to metro. Room is spacious with toiletries, coffee/tea making facility. Hotel staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. This is a fully SMOKE-FREE hotel, which makes my stay comfortable and pleasant.

The hotel is lovely old fashioned type of a grand hotel with a great service and beautiful clean and well equipped room. The view from a large window in our room was spectacular and absolutely worth the price. We skipped the breakfast in the hotel since there is a lot of restaurants in the vicinity and we went for local delicacies, although I checked out the buffet and it seemed delicious and original. A lot of crowd at the pool since it was a holiday season, and the pool was quite small, however it’s clean and has a nice surroundings. Absolutely satisfied and I would choose it again when visiting Nanjing. The city is absolutely worth a visit, very charming and interesting, a lot to do and a lot to see. The only downside is that the traffic is a nightmare but there has to be something. Recommend to check out the Confucius museum for sure, as well as the 1912 street. Great food, great people, beautiful architecture, we’ll be back! ❤️

As a regular guest at sofitel I continue to have good things to say about sofitel! The room was clean and fresh, electrical appliances in working condition and the water pressure was at reasonable standard. Under this booking I also had midnight snack and breakfast included. Although staff did forget to deliver my midnight snack. Annie at reception was very helpful, friendly and professional. She gifted me with a salted duck gift and a small sofitel branded perfume on check out! Furthermore as a member at sofitels fitness center and swimming pool (as somebody who swims everyday here)I was slightly annoyed with the amount of people in the swimming pool. There are 2 designated sections one larger area for free play and another for those who wish you exercise undisturbed. But today there were children everywhere and the life guard didn't seem to mind that kids were disrupting these clearly set up guidelines. After waiting around an hour for things to calm down I decided to complain to her but she just agreed that it was wrong and did nothing about it... After waiting another half an hour my friend managed to have a swim. I hope more effort is put into training staff around managing people within their designated areas.

The view was fantastic. The room was small but practical. They did not have on-site laundry, which was not helpful since my group is moving from city to city.

It’s a really nice hotel. Very big room and great view. Also the bath tub is very big. The bed is really soft and there’s a selection of pillows with different scents that you can order which is great. There were only two issues. First,The hotel reception staff aren’t very friendly. It felt like being checked in by robots. I kind of expected a better manner from such a good hotel brand. Second, the outdoor pool was closed. It says on the website that the outdoor pool closes if it’s raining. But it didn’t rain. The weather was quite nice. They told us it was closed for technical reasons. I felt a little bit cheated by this as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for the outdoor pool. No prior notice or message was sent. The indoor pool was open but it was extremely shabby. Felt like a public swimming pool. Overall, I feel like the hotel is tricky and offering a package which they can’t fulfill.

The hotel was amazing, we’ve had a great time at the hotel. The food was yummy and the environment was great as well. I would like to show my thanks to Ms. 张禾欣 as she has a wonderful smile and was also very nice to my kids! We had a great stay and will prioritize staying in Shangri-La for the future. Thanks!!

Booked a family twin room for Dabao + Erbao + two adults. It was a very pleasant stay. The 60-square-meter room is very warmly decorated, with edges and corners covered very carefully. It is very convenient to drive into the park. The Memphis building has a post-modernist design. The breakfast has all the basic types and tastes good. Dinner is a la carte at the hotel restaurant and the service is excellent. Dabao swims and Erbao sleeps in the room without delay. The air in Laoshan is great!

The hotel room is neat, clean and spacious. The environment is very good. The bathroom facilities are very good. The front desk service is enthusiastic, especially Lucky. He is very enthusiastic and takes us to the room and introduces the hotel facilities and opening hours. We will choose to come here for vacation in the future.

I went to Ginkgo Lake Water Park to play, and stayed in a hotel because I refused to go home at night. I was very disappointed. 1. Objective evaluation, the surrounding environment of the hotel is very early, on the edge of Ginkgo Lake, the room is a single-family villa, as if living in a park; 2. The hotel facilities are relatively old, the room has a musty smell, the buffet breakfast has few choices, and the taste is average; 3. The sanitation of the room is average, with obvious dust accumulation; 4. The most unbearable thing is the water quality. This is Nanjing. The hotel is located in Jiangning District, which has the largest production value in Nanjing. Ginkgo Lake is just outside the door, and the Yangtze River is next to it. How can there be such water quality? ? ? ! ! ! The water released is yellow and full of impurities. I am used to brushing my teeth with cold water, and the tap water released is also full of impurities. I didn’t know it at first, and I boiled a pot of hot water to drink it, but I couldn’t spit it out. I’m busy with my children and don’t have time. I’m going to call the consumer this week to make a complaint.

Great Holiday Inn experience. Good value for money, very central and conveniently located next to malls, tourist areas and amazing eateries. From arrival, the staff are genuinely kind and courteous. A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.
