Hotels Near Chiesa del Sacro Cuore in Naples

The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is great and it's nice having a little balcony. Trip.com says the room has a kettle but it doesn't. In the winter it would be nice to have a kettle as well as slippers to walk on the cold marble floor, especially since I can't control the heat as it's controlled by the front desk. The front desk staff are very helpful with ordering taxis with flat rates so you won't get cheated.

The bar to have drinks in the evening is filthy, dirty table linens that are not linens, had marks that has been used and spilt drinks or food. The chairs and table feels and looks dirty, we took our drinks in our room instead. The breakfast has no cooked food just hard boiled eggs, bread are hard, people have to queue to wait to be served by 1 waiter, you cannot take from the table, waiter has to serve even coffee. It’s scary around the hotel, police are always there, dodgy shops around. Stay nearby or at hotels around Ovo Castle. It’s too dirty aroung Gibraldi station where this hotel is located.

It is about a 15-minute walk from the station. On the way from the station, there is a clean supermarket, laundry, and delicious pizza restaurant, and next door is a chain *****tore, so the location is great. The room was quite spacious, cleaned every day, and had a large terrace, so it was very comfortable. I visited not only Naples, but also Pompeii, Salerno → Amalfi → Potasino → Sorrento, but Amalfi and Potasino were too crowded, so I'm glad I did a day trip from Naples. There is no resident staff, so you need to go at the specified time to check in, but be careful that they don't open the door unless you call. I ended up not being able to contact the hotel in Matera, so the hotel canceled the day and I didn't get a refund, so I was a little worried that it would happen again.

We were there for dinner, we met in front of a beautiful and well furnished restaurant room, and the staff welcomed us with experience and friendliness. As a first meal, I ordered a rice of black cab, perfect rice cooking, and the cook's hand was noticed in the dressing; well cooked black cab, she was very well married with the recipe. Then I received a fish plate, cod in three forms, a modern and surprising plate, a significant innovation in the classic way of serveing cod. Before I finished with a bitter, I decided to personally congratulate the Chief, I had the pleasure to meet Pasquale, a young man of good hopes, a true lover of good kitchen. The account was more than right, in line with the quality / price ratio. It probably entered my favorite restaurants list!

Close location to the main train station, however room was completely different to what I booked and to the pictures online so be warned. Paid for a single room and got a huge circle bed? Staff do not seem interested in talking and often ignore or barely speak. Expected to hand keys to reception every time you leave which seemed odd and a slight security risk if you have valuable items. Also check out is 10am.

We stayed at the hotel for four days in early July. This resulted in us leaving with the best impressions. There was a lot of politeness and friendliness among the staff. The room was exactly what we wanted and very clean. Our maids cleaned and tidied it every day. Clean towels were provided and bathroom accessories were promptly replaced. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location was perfect!!! We highly recommend it. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Naples again. Sophia and Sotiria from Greece

Ok forget the bad reviews they are either fake or old. This old building as been fully renovated and is in the centre of the old town. Tripit rates the area as safe and we saw no evidence to the contrary. The rooms are simply and comfortable furnished with very comfortable beds and nicely appointed bathrooms complete with toiletries. The rooms are reasonably quiet and are equipped with air conditioning, we both slept very well. There are two large roof terraces adjacent to the breakfast room where am ample breakfast buffet is served. All the staff are plesent and helpful as are most people in Naples. I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it.

We had a wonderful one night stay, the front desk staff was amazing! For the cleanliness and friendliness I would stay again in a heart beat! We loved the Asian restaurant next door, pizza place across the way not so much. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel was great and the workers were so friendly and helpful there too. The bed was a little firm and pillows a little flat but slept like a baby still.

I have no habit of giving trip advisor advice, but I will make an exception for this establishment. Hotel located outside the turbulent Naples, but not too far, so perfect for those with a car and especially if you want to visit Pouzzoles, Baies, Cumes, Capua ... Airport at 40 min. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. Fresh and very well valued products. Paste, fish, crustaceans and matured meat. A parte il fatto (comunque colpa mia) che avevo prenotato e pagato per due, ma all'ultimo momento la mia compagna non è venuta, la prima camera che mi hanno assegnato ( la 304) aveva un pervasivo e disgustoso odore di gabinetto. il copriletto era vecchissimo, sporco e completamente mangiato dalle tarme, (vedi foto). . La seconda camera (la 202) era decente e l'ho presa. Aveva il bagno per i disabili, ma considero questo un plus. Ma gli accessori di del bagno erano tarati per una sola persona (1 asciugamani per mano normale, 1 asciugamano doccia, nessun bicchiere (e l'impianto idrico lasciava a desiderare). Lo staff mi ha portato quanto richiesto, IL peggio però era l'impianto di condizionamento, assolutamente non funzionante. Fortunatamente la temperatura era gradevole, ma la mattina farsi la doccia in un bagno freddo non è stato piacevole. Lo staff ha provveduto il giorno dopo. Visto che il check out era alle 11, ho lasciato, alle ore 9:00 lo zaino al deposito bagagli: non vi è stata applicata alcuna etichetta. Alle ore 16:00 del 6 gennaio sono andato a riprenderlo: non c'era più. Uno dello Staff, un po' balbettante mi ha detto che li avevano spostati in altro luoho. E me lo ha mostrato: in una zona in penombra; c'era un solo zaino, all’apparenza il mio, l'ho preso e sono ripartito per Salerno. Solo all'arrivo mi sono accorto che lo zaino, seppur identico, non era il mio. Solo grazie alla disponibilità della persona che aveva preso il mio sono riuscito ad operare lo scambio di restituzione. Quando ho lascito lo zaino (ore 08:30) ho comunicato chiaramente alla reception che, dopo la colazione sarei tornato, ben prima delle 11:00 ora del check out per usare il bagno. Tornato dopo mezz'ora ho trovato la stanza già disfatta con le donne delle pulizia ed il bagno ormai inagibile.già in pulizia. Comunque, vabbè che eravamo in altissima stagione ma per un albergo in zona stazione d Napoli, degradata e mal frequentata, 180 euro + 6 euro di tassa d soggiorno per due notti mi sembrano un po' eccessivi per un albergo di terza categoria
