We are members of the Lensbury and joined earlier this year. It’s an awesome place - great facilities and grounds. The biggest thing letting it down is the poor food and restaurant service. It always takes ages to order and when the food arrives it’s really not as good as the nearby pubs. If they change this, it’ll easily be the best spot in teddington - such a shame.

I booked the hotel through secret escapes as a surprise for my wife’s birthday,on arrival she commented how lovely the hotel was,we was early so we went into town,when we got back, we were given the keys to one of the cottage rooms ,we were very disappointed to have paid so much for our stay and to have been put in an accessible room (disabled) when there were clearly other rooms available. We were tired after our drive and walk out so we got showered and went for a drink in the bar,my wife asked for a cocktail and the bartender said he hadn’t had the training yet but made one for her anyway,he then left the bar and another young bartender came over and was talking to us about the hotel etc and a senior gentleman came over and said to him,come with me I want you to do something else,this was as I was about to order my drink and half way through conversation with him,so we got up and went in for dinner,we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon for around £32, the waiter put it in the ice bucket with lid on and walked away,surely I should of been asked to taste the wine,we then had to pour our own drinks for the rest of dinner,the wine itself was very poor and not worth the money paid,I’m not normally one to moan but I think £262 for a night in an accessible room for my wife’s birthday wasn’t good enough,the staff at the reception were excellent but waiters at dinner need to brush up on there service skills ,even at breakfast,we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee and had to remind the young lady 3 times as she kept forgetting

Sarah Dacey 1/5 a week ago on Google This place should be shut down. Upon your arrival you are instantly locked out as this is not a manned place. I can’t even call it a Hotel. You literally have to wait for somebody to let you in, Within an hour if you’re lucky. The room!!! My god. I’ve had better camping trips. On opening the room door (after a 50 minute wait outside and a 5 hour drive ) we were met with a dirty quilt left rolled up on a disgustingly dirty bed ( hair and filth all over it ). There were wet used towels and dirty bedding left on the side table. No one was available to do anything about it. They do not cook breakfast ( not that I would eat there ) so that’s a complete lie and you’re paying for it. The blinds on the windows have been fitted by Stevie Wonder and don’t open or close. The place is run down and generally filthy. The water is constantly freezing cold and your unable to shower. Even the electric was off. So at times we had cold water with no electricity. The owner is the most disgusting and rude person I’ve ever met and will not converse or do anything about your situation. PLEASE DON’T BOOK HERE. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. !!! It’s vile and unsafe. I paid £800 for an executive room for 7 days to be close to my partner who had an operation in a local hospital. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. You will be ignored by anyone that occasionally works there. A DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The 1 stars I have given it are actually minus 10 and more. 1 star is way too good for the place. After living in London for 5 days, I decided to go to Kingston for a day before returning to the country. I got off at Surbiton Station and across the road was the hotel. Special praise for dining, breakfast choices are better than many four-star hotels in London. There is also a discount of happy hour from 5 to 8 in the evening. The sommelier service is very attentive and polite, and the standard of food is quite good. In short, very high cost performance.

Stayed many times in this Hotel around 4 years ago due to high standards of staff and service. Unfortunately although the staff are still very professional and also friendly, the room standards have certainly dropped. You now have an empty space where the fridge used to be, sticks are provided instead of tea spoons for tea/coffee. Tissues run out after three uses, cupboard doors not aligned correctly so had to force shut. Under bed found sweet, dust and paper. Had to clean mirror, as it obviously had been wiped over with a dirty cloth and left to dry. Prices substantially increased since pandemic I believe. Not what it was, hopefully just a blip and situation will improve as all other facilities including restaurant and location are excellent.

Chessington World of Adventures is a 20-minute drive from the hotel and our free on-site parking makes a day on the rollercoasters even more stress-free. There’s even a chance to take in some wildlife at the nearby Hobbledown Adventure Farm.For guests who prefer to leave the car behind, the hotel is situated near Ewell West railway station. Trains take a swift 35 minutes to reach London Waterloo, where visitors can enjoy the restaurants and bars of the South Bank and the buzz of the capital.After a long day exploring the nearby sights and sounds our Hypnos beds are the perfect place to kick back and relax. We cater for a wide range of guests’ needs and offer deluxe and accessible rooms, we even have cots and pull-out beds on hand to keep the whole family well rested.

I don’t usually stay in Ibis hotels but this one is like no other ibis hotel I’ve stayed at. From the laid back informal reception area to the contemporary rooms this was a good overnight stay. I appreciated the welcome cookies. The room was spacious but clearly designed for short stays in regards to storage space. There’s USB ports by the bedside. The bathroom has a shower, no bath and good to see the body soap and shampoo in dispensers rather than individual plastic bottles. The water though was only luke warm. The Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Location is excellent in the centre of town and just a few minutes walk to the station. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate for most tastes. My only complaint was the pulsing noise of the bathroom extractor fan which is independent of the air conditioning in the room and not able to switch off.

The hotel is in a general location. After 11pm or before 10am, the accessories are basically not available for purchase. It takes about half an hour to walk from the modern subway station and about 8 pounds. The front desk of the hotel is in a bar (also a restaurant). The front desk is as big as a washing machine. It is generally unattended. When you check in, you will say hello to the restaurant waiter. She will call the waiter who is going to check in. The room is not in the restaurant and bar, but in a second floor next door, the waiter is very warm and helps us with our luggage. We stayed at 11 o'clock in the evening and the restaurant closed. When he sent us to the room, he also asked enthusiastically: What if you didn't eat? Google can find restaurants or restaurants, etc., so that we feel warm. The rooms are small, but the basic facilities are there, as well as pots for hot water. The size of the bathroom is acceptable, that is, the washbasin is really too small (pictured), about 15 cm wide and 30 cm long, which is very inconvenient. In summary, the price is expensive and the price is not high.

Just leaving Holiday Inn Sutton and have had a truly wonderful stay. This hotel was used as a base for exploring London and surrounding areas and can't recommend highly enough. Ok we're not talking 5 star luxury, but if you're looking for that common sense should tell you to book elsewhere. However if you're looking for CLEAN (so important) and comfort with EXCELLENT staff then this will be for you! Staff are honestly some of the best I've encountered (even in 5 star hotels) and I don't say that lightly. Restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, health club all an absolute credit to the hotel and brand. Thank you. Nothing was to much trouble and you made our stay really great. It's the morning and evening acknowledements and friendly vibe and all the little touches that really do go a long way. We'll be back and would highly recommend this hotel and if there's a way to reward staff on duty 27th-29th August 2022 please do :)
