Best Beachfront Hotels New Taipei City, Find the Latest Deals

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

The view of the room is very beautiful, full sea view as we are staying at the top floor. The room is very spacious. The bedding is ok but a bit soft for me. The bathroom is good and the pressure of the water is very stable and the temperature of the hot water is good. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city but very close to the subway. If you want to visit Tamtsui, it is one of the good choice. The management should improve the cleanliness of the room, but compared with the price, it is okay for me to come again.

We stayed from 7/22 - 25 and in room 1329. The view from the room of the sea was great. Overall service was great. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I have just one issue - Breakfast. The breakfast buffet every morning was the same and that was a let down. We had three breakfasts and everyday it was the same. Maybe look into that as no guest that stays in your hotel wants to eat the same food for breakfast everyday.

The facilities are rich and suitable for parents who don’t want to go out to bask in the sun on hot summer days to take their children to play ~ I will visit again if I have the opportunity!

You genuinely cannot beat this location. Short walk up into Jiufen town and if you book the room with the views out like we did you’ll have one of the best views in all of Jiufen. Especially at sunset it’s a real wow moment. Owners were very helpful and even upgraded us for free when we added a second night last minute so we didn’t need to change rooms. Such a nice touch from them. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked very good. Another huge bonus was the free parking they offer which is hard to find in Jiufen if you’re driving like we were. Probably our favourite stay in Taiwan

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. The exterior of the building is rather uninspiring but the common rest areas of the interior are lovely and tastefully done up - see pictures. The bedroom I stayed in is described as mountain view but not too much of a view - is smallish in size but done up in a modern comfortable style. Very friendly and helpful service staff. Location maybe a challenge for some as it is a bit of a hike up to the top of the Jiufen village - I didn’t find it strenuous but I packed light. Google map works well to direct you through the warrens of shops to get there. Breakfast was so so but good enough for me

The environment is clean and the scenery is pleasant. You can enjoy the beautiful mountain view and night view of Jiufen from the room. It is only a 4-minute walk from Jiufen Old Street. The boss and his son are friendly and courteous, and the service is very high-quality. I sincerely recommend it.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here and looking for a blend of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

The old hotel has been renovated, but the door is still an old wooden door with a horn lock. It is not convenient to only give one set of keys, and the air conditioner is really not cold... We booked a family quadruple room which is far away from the elevator... The advantage is that it's not expensive, the beach is right outside, and the children's playroom in the basement is pretty good too
