New York Queens Hotels

Around 1h to Manhattan via line 7 subway. 10mn walking distance. But you can take LIRR subway that is faster. Breakfast in this hotel is located in basement inside q Chinese restaurant. Very poor breakfast when I looked at the food so I never eat inside. I order Mc Donald delivery or went outside to eat my breakfast. Service from Front desk is good and pro! I needed to print few pages and there are 2 available computers in the lobby where you can print papers. No bottle every day in the room. I think it is very stingy since my room was around 300€… but when I asked bottles at front desk, they offered me 2 free bottles.

I stayed here on the last night of trip because of the proximity to LGA airport for an early morning flight. Arrived around 7pm to an extremely full parking lot. Was able to squeeze into a non-designated spot. There were 4-5 guys just hanging out in the parking lot listening to music, as is they were in their own backyard. Odd, but, ok. Coming into the front lobby, it’s all dark except for the registration desk. Yet, there were a few people hanging out in the dark, where breakfast would normally be served. Get to my room, and immediately go use the toilet after a long day, which decides to keep running continuously, so I finally have to pop open the lid and wiggle the bobber around to make it stop. In the main bedroom, I discover there is no lamp fixture by the beds, only a gaping hole where one would normally be. The only light source in the entire room is a little desk lamp. Eventually settling into bed, there is all kinds of noises from the freeway, the tv next door, and people roaming the hallway. Earplugs are a necessity. This whole scenario feels like something out of a horror movie where you know something bad is going to happen. Wake up early & depart before 5 am out the rear entrance to the parking lot, where there are two shoeless guys again just hanging out on the steps. This hotel looks nice enough from the photos, but all the vagrants hanging out in and around the property do not make this a comfortable place to stay.

Traveled with a family of 5. Loved our stay. Staff were very welcoming and nice. We needed accommodations and they meet our needs with no problems. Valet parking were courteous. Our rooms were clean organized, and very well structured. We loved the bathroom behind the mirror. Very nice. Kids loved it and enjoyed the stay. They have a small Gym, beautiful breakfast lobby, lower terrace with tables, and upper terrace with a beautiful view. Their breakfast was ok. Do need a little more work on. Offered toast, bagels, cerial, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, tater tots, fruits, coffee, juice and water. Eggs were watery, and tater tots were cold, and not well done. Bagel tosted with cream cheese were great. We rate it a 4 out of 5 since it does need work on their breakfast, but we enjoyed our stay and will visit again. Thank you!

“Hidden Gem?” Staff is super friendly & attentive. Place is pretty cool with 2 very popular dining experiences. To some, it might be obscure and off the beaten path. Best amenity is the FREE parking and some rooms have a spa like soaking tub?

The rooms are super clean, but unfortunately extremely loud. The windows are not insulated and leaky, as is the room door. The people passing by or showers/TVs from other rooms are as loud as if they were in the room itself. We couldn't really sleep through the night for 7 nights because of the noise. The staff seems disinterested. The toilet didn't work and was only repaired within 12 hours after repeated requests. Nevertheless, extremely clean and modern hotel. The location/area seems threatening at first glance, but we never felt unsafe. We wouldn't book again because of the price and the noise. It's about a 9-minute walk to the metro. The F Line takes you quickly and easily to Midtown without having to change trains.

Very nice hotel. Accessible to subway. Loads of restaurants around vicinity.

Very nice hotel in good location. Quick weekend stay. Easy access to train station (walk about 100 feet) or one across the street. Took 12 minutes to get to Times Square. About a 20-minute Uber ride LGA (8pm on a Friday night). Newer hotel. Clean rooms. Not too big of rooms, but you are in NY so you have to understand that. Planet Fitness is across the street. Hudson Food Market is adjacent to the hotel. There is a food market across the street and some bars in the area. Hotel gym was good and spacious. Lots of area to move around and actually work out. Did not mingle much with the staff except for check in and check out. There is a restaurant/lounge on the premises that has seating areas. Would definitely stay here again.

The room is a bit small, but there are rooms with over 1,000 yuan in the local area, so if you have one that can fit in

I stayed originally at this Hilton Garden Inn back in December 2017 (apologies for not leaving a review then!), and we had such a pleasant experience we did decide to come back the next time we visited NYC. The best thing about this Hilton Garden Inn is the close location to both Queens Plaza (literally 20 seconds walk away if you pick the correct subway entrance) and Queensboro Plaza (a little further, but only a few minutes walk) subway stations to get you into Manhattan within 10-15 minutes. This alone makes it so worth the price!! When I go on city breaks, my thing is to find hotels a little further out of the center but close to public transport links and it makes a huge difference in value - this is the absolute perfect fit to this rule for those who don't mind staying out of the center of Manhattan. In addition, I have never felt unsafe in the area that the Hotel is located in too, it's a busy public road very close to the hotel (you can't hear this from the room) so you're never in a quiet area alone if you're walking at night from the Subway. This is not a 5-star hotel so if you're looking for this it may not be your thing, but it is I think one of the best value hotels that can be found in the whole of New York City! When you compare the price of this hotel to other similar hotels in Manhattan, this can be purchased at sometimes more than half the price of other similar (and worse) hotels that in central Manhattan, and does seem to be one of the cheaper ones located outside Manhattan too, but the cheaper price doesn't mean a lack of quality when compared with others! The rooms (from memory) hadn't changed between our two stays in 2017 and 2023 (and do seem older than this) so perhaps could be doing with an update, but they are large rooms and ours had a small sofa located at the end of the room too - beds very comfy. Unfortunately, the air con didn't work our first evening so it was stuffy on the first night, however we didn't bother to raise this as we were so jet lagged from our flight and I'm more than confident the team would've have resolved this for us if we did! Thankfully, it worked the rest of our stay so the room was extremely comfortable after this time. We were located on the 11th floor (I think), and apart from one day where one of the two lifts were broken, we didn't have to spend long waiting for the lifts and got from reception to our room in a few short moments. The reception/lobby/breakfast area seems to have been updated between our stays in 2017-2023, is modern and clean with a large bar area too if required. We didn't have breakfast there or food so can't comment on the food offering. We stayed due to a planned engagement in NYC (she said yes!) and we did tell the Reception Team about this (apologies, we can't remember the woman's name) to see if there was anything they could do as a congratulations, just a simple message in the room for example - she did say leave it with her. In Chinatown, Flushing, Queens, New York, not far from the starting point of Subway Line 7, which goes to Grand Central Station and Times Square. The hotel has a good breakfast. The front desk and service staff are all Chinese. The rooms are large and well-equipped. There is a dedicated Shuttle charges at JFK Airport. When I left the store, I sincerely told the front desk that it would definitely be a good review. So I must give it a good review. I stayed here for 4 nights and the service was attentive and meticulous.
