Was unable to get early check in even though requested a few months back when initially booked. But that’s ok, they had a convenient luggage hold. And checkin at the ready time was very smooth! Biggest issue with this specific location, they have over 40 floors of rooms and only 2 elevators. It took forever to catch one anytime coming back to the room.

Was able to check in early which was great after a long flight from uk. Room had everything we needed included toiletries, hairdryer, safe, fridge and coffee machine. Also had a clothes steamer although was unsure how to use this. Bathroom was lovely and bed was comfy. Room had a/c .Hotel was a short walk from the subway and lots of eateries by the hotel. Deli’s and restaurants. Walking distance to the water(pier 11, 17 and Staten Island ferry). We were also able to leave luggage after check out. This was securely stored using a ticket system. There was no charge for this. Room deposit refunded same day as check out. We loved our stay.

Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel is more like a hostel. Very small rooms small double bed or bunk beds because you will not fit two single beds in the room. Shower very good. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Yes tv. No breakfast included. You have to go to a nearby cafe to get a proper meal. You can get various coffee and tea bagels scones continental style breakfast in the bar area in the POD. For 4 nights accommodation only Thursday to Sunday cost app 1200.00 euro per room.

Upon entering the lobby of the Draper Hotel you're greeted by the most helpful front desk staff. The rooms are comfortable and NYC size (small as most are). We had an excellent view the of Empire State Building. There weren't any issues with noise as the windows are double pane. I'd stay at the Draper Hotel again. It's near many food options and very pedestrian friendly area.

To begin with, I must stress that we only used our room, and spoke to staff on the reception area. I’ve no idea on the quality of the rooftop bar nor restaurant at the hotel. Location: We booked knowing that this was in the Financial district, but I was elated with the location. We got the air-train & subway from JFK and the hotel is just a few blocks from Fulton Street Subway station. I am a quick walker, and found that the World Trade Center was only 5 minutes from the hotel, the same with Wall Street / the waterfront which was a great location to me. There were plenty of shops / restaurants / etc. in the area (where doesn’t have that in NYC?). There was construction work taking place across the street from the hotel entrance, but never any issues with traffic or noise. Reception / Staff: We arrived in the evening on a Wednesday and the staff on reception were really welcoming as we were checking in. They were taking the time to say hello to returning guests as they came through the lobby. We experienced this ourselves whenever we returned to the hotel. It may be a small thing, but it showed good customer service to me. Room: A lot of rooms in NYC are “small” when compared to counterparts in other cities so I never expect masses of space. I was happy with the size of our room when we arrived. We were on the 21st floor, and our room was on the corner overlooking the front of the building and the construction site across the street. There was small walkway between the door to the room and the bedroom. 2 of us stayed there with 2 cases and we found enough room to move around. The bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked. We had a coffee machine and bottled water given to us for drinking. The bathroom had a shower & toiletries, and it was clear everything was clean. When I'm back in NYC, I'd happily stay here again!

It was pretty easy to book, find, and to get into the hotel. The front desk person has the room keys ready, so we got to the room in a few seconds. It was clean and quite even the room was located next to the elevator. Me and my friends have relaxed time there.

I stayed here for ten consecutive days. The location of the hotel is very convenient for traveling. The path is just 100 meters outside the hotel. The fitness and breakfast facilities are comprehensive. The service level is acceptable. It is recommended for people traveling or staying for a short stay. The coffee was very delicious, which was an unexpected surprise.

Stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms, both with two double beds. Me and my oldest son in one room, my MIL and youngest son in the other room. Rooms were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and location s great—very close to Times Square. We had never been to NYC and had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again! Other reviewers complain of extra charges and problems with refunds—this is because they booked through a 3rd party site (like this one) and did not read the fine print. All NYC accommodations have a bunch of additional taxes and charges and they are the same no matter which hotel you stay in. The difference is that some hotels advertise the daily rate including an estimate of these charges and some don’t. Additionally, agreements may vary when using a 3rd party site (like this one) vs booking through the hotel’s website. Also, it’s NYC—all accommodations are small and compact. Plus, you’re there to see the city, not hang out in a hotel room all day. Lastly, the hotel doesn’t advertise a continental breakfast and why would they when just out the door are dozens of affordable places to grab a bite.
