Location good but room a bit dirty. We got fruits for the welcome. But we discovered yogurt near the bedroom when we came back the night after diner. We asked at the reception, it was apparently the clean team who enters to let some snacks... Swimmingpool is available but there was a lot of children. They enjoyed well. A big room for team meeting and conference ! KTV rooms were available but not those days due to covid situtation.

Staying in this hotel was really the right choice for me. I am an English teacher and have been in China for six months. It was an enjoyable experience at the Ningbo Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The rooms have adequate heating, and we got fresh towels and water every day. Mengna's butler service is very good, she sent us milk and fruit as a gift to our room during Christmas. This hotel is really amazing. Ordering takeout can be delivered to the room door using A robot which makes it really convenient. It's worth a visit! The hotel is also equipped with a heated swimming pool and a gym, and spa. The breakfast was buffet and had a variety of things to eat. The rooms are spacious and bright and beautiful. I was placed on the 17th floor, which is a higher floor and very quiet. Great service, the staff are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

Top in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

I visited Ningbo for the 1st time and had a nice time. This property is very well kept, clean and wonderful customer service. Unfortunately they had to close the indoor swimming pool, and that was a bit disappointing as I came prepared to swim, but understandable. Overall, I will be back for sure.Thank you for a good stay! The hotel facilities and services are very consistent with those of a five-star hotel. When I went to Ningbo on the weekend, it happened to rain, so I had to stay in the hotel for 2 days. Fortunately, the hotel has a good view and complete facilities. The restaurant provides a variety of buffet dinners and breakfasts with various ingredients. Fresh and overall feeling very comfortable. The hotel has a large underground garage, and parking is very convenient. I took photos of the night view outside the window, which is beautiful!

mixed review. some really excellent points and then some real improvement needed too. excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended. the pools and spa pools are great the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful. a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful. to improve: the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option. I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel. the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient. very mixed review I'm afraid.

There are shopping malls nearby, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. I have been out for so many years and the price-performance ratio is very high. The hotel should be right in the city center. The staff at the hotel are very good, especially Sister Yang xy at the front desk. The service is very detailed. You can take it with you in the room. Several people have been introducing it seriously. The environment is clean and the rooms are large. The location of the hotel is very good and the surrounding facilities are complete. There is also a gym where you can exercise and a washing machine and wash clothes. I really love it. . I will still choose to stay here if I have the opportunity to come to Ningbo.

This is our second time visiting Yinfeng Holiday Resort and we enjoyed it a lot with our kids! The locations is great and close to Xuedou Mountain and Shanglianggang ski resort! The grounds are large with lots of space for kids to run and play around. We just recommend a few western dishes be added as an option at the restaurant and some bicycles or scooters for hire should be great. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay special...even washing our mud stained jackets and shoes after kids had a bit of a tumble.

I saw in the reviews that the Marriott Hotel has an excellent location and excellent service, so I chose the Ningbo Marriott to stay. It really lived up to my expectations. The hotel service is very enthusiastic. From the concierge at the door, I ran over to open the door to pick up my luggage, and went to the lobby with the golden key. The service manager Xiao Guo gave warm greetings and introduced the surrounding attractions of the hotel. The young lady who checked in at the front desk was also very professional and enthusiastic. Later, Xiao Cao from the concierge helped me carry my luggage. In the elevator, he introduced us to the hotel’s gym and swimming pool Chinese restaurant. When we got to the room, I asked him where to eat at one of the more popular restaurants in Ningbo. The young man helped us recommend Yongshang Mingzao, Zhuangyuanlou, Mr. Shui, and Ningdong Banquet, I finally chose to go to Mr. Shui. The dishes are good and have Ningbo characteristics. The room attendants are very considerate, clean and provide enthusiastic service. When we left the next day, we met Xiao Cao who was working the early shift again because he bought a lot of Ningbo specialties and wanted to send them away. Xiao Cao helped us send express delivery and called a taxi for us to take us away warmly. The five-star Ningbo Marriott Hotel The service is definitely worthy of the reputation. I will choose Ningbo Marriott Hotel next time I travel.

Besides the fact that the bathroom door wouldn't close all the way, the bed was comfy and we had an excellent view of the train station. Tons of restaurants are nearby too. Friendly service as well. Would stay again.
