The location is excellent, right in the Cultural Square, opposite the bank, and next to the Cultural Theatre. The room is average. There doesn't seem to be a trash can in the bathroom. The room air conditioner cannot adjust the temperature (it is set to 24 degrees but keeps setting it to 21 degrees or even to 20 degrees at night), as well as the temperature of the central air conditioner. The guest room is on a higher floor so the view is okay. Check-in is quick, usually within 3 minutes. There is no bathtub in the toilet, but there is a refrigerator and minibar in the room. The soundproofing of the room is not good, and the sound of the door opening and closing/turning on the faucet next door is clearly audible. The service attitude is pretty good. The guy Tank who checked in at the front desk, the gentleman at the concierge, and the person who answered the in-room service hotline all have good attitudes and can handle problems in a timely manner. The lobby manager Carry was also very patient in listening, solving problems and giving solutions. It was so hot that we couldn't sleep in the middle of the night, so he moved us to a room with a lower temperature. Then he contacted the engineering department and asked us to lower the room temperature before reluctantly. Spent one night and was satisfied with the handling, which was timely. Cleanliness: I encountered no cleanliness issues when I checked in. The swimming pool seems to be cooperating with others. It is quite troublesome to get tickets to go to May Day Square. You can park for free in the underground parking lot, and there are charging piles, which is very good. Hope to have a better stay experience next time

If you’re not needing the downtown CBD area, then this hotel isn’t for you. It’s difficult to find due to one-way streets, and all the drivers had trouble finding the entrance, which was always filled with several parked cars making it more difficult for drivers to enter/exit. The views in the room are all of other buildings across the street. However, the worst part of my experience was when the hotel disabled the air conditioning in the room in the middle of the night. When I complained, I was moved to a larger room that was literally 1 degree cooler, and an electric fan was placed in the bedroom. But between 1 and 4am, the room was sweltering, as many hotels are in smaller cities around China. I understand local brands doing this to save money, but this is an international brand. When I complained the second time, an employee told me Chinese people don’t like to sleep with the air conditioning on. I know that’s not true. Finally, the buffet breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels of the same price/category. I won’t be returning.

the hotel is very clean,service is amazing and the breakfast is ok.most of the staff can speak English so that is very convinient.however if you have a room for 3 people then the amenities should be for 3 people not 2 people.the towels and sluppers were just for 2 people.also the room is not women friendly!they need dressing mirrors.generally I had a good experience here.

The overall experience of this hotel is great. I chose this hotel when I passed by Mount Putuo. The view from the high-floor rooms is good, and the panoramic view makes people feel very comfortable. Ms. Yue Jingjing, a staff member in the lobby, has a strong sense of initiative. When she came to the store, she took the initiative to help deliver the luggage to the room. The recommended dining place is very satisfactory, and the service attitude is very good. I travel a lot for work and this is the first time writing a bad review ever. I was disappointed with this hotel for 2 reasons: 1. Staff at front desk does not speak English. Although my Chinese is OK, they were unwilling to help me. I had an issue with a booking (caused by trip.com). Trip was very friendly and helpful. Staff at front desk told me it wasn’t their problem that they couldn’t find a booking and I should figure it out with the agent, however I clearly had a confirmed booking on my phone. I know the problem wasn’t caused at the hotel, but at the same time I have a booking here with a payment FOR YOUR HOTEL. The least you can do is do everything you can to help me check this issue. Furthermore I had to cancel one night booked for my colleague due to change of plans. If they told me from the beginning cancellation is not possible, my colleague would’ve changed the plan accordingly. The staff told me I should check with trip.com and if they could process the cancellation the hotel can agree. However, we spend 2 days going back and forth, talking to the front desk and talking to trip.com customer service to try and figure it out. Finally at 10 pm (!!!) of the night of the cancellation they finally informed me they cannot cancel. By that time it was too late and my colleague already checked into another hotel, so we spend double the money for no reason. 2. The breakfast is not good, food is low quality. The hotel is clearly locally managed, you can feel it in terms of customer service and food quality. I do not recommend.

Great hotel with a nice modern rooms! The arrival process was very smooth and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The room was spacious with very cozy sofa area. I like the complimentary Chinese tea and the tea set which was in the room. Also the bathroom toiletries was very unique and of a high quality. The location is right next to the culture plaza area and all the shopping and dining area. There is also a nice park next to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel for its great price value, nicely designed rooms and for wonderful hospitality!

I have been a fan of Kaiyuan for many years, and I still like to book at Kaiyuan when I go out. The first time I went to this store, the room is very clean and the space is quite large. Prices are generally on the high side during May Day, which is acceptable. The service at the front desk of the hotel is warm and thoughtful. They also gave small snacks when they checked in. Like it. Another thing to remind is that you need to ask the front desk for toiletries when you check in, otherwise you have to send a small robot to deliver them to you, hahaha

The location is easy to find. The parking lot of the hotel is equipped with charging piles. The security guy even took up the charging parking space. It's really considerate. The lady at the front desk is very polite and greets you from afar. Miss Zeyong even gave me a free upgrade. Breakfast was so thoughtful and a very pleasant stay! I arrived at the hotel at 10pm and waited for the front desk to call to make sure that the room was cleaned before checking in. I waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes with my luggage. The first time I checked in, I had to wait to confirm whether the room was cleaned. The experience was not very good. After checking in, I found that the room sanitation was generally acceptable, but I couldn't take a closer look. There was a lot of dust on the glass and the ornaments on it, stains on the chair, and the bathroom glass was not cleaned. The decoration of the room is relatively old, not newly renovated in 2019, which does not match the introduction of the hotel. The better thing is that the front desk service is more enthusiastic, check out in the morning, luggage storage is handled very warm and thoughtful. Breakfast is so-so, which is worth the price of 38 yuan/person. I would like to make a suggestion. I hope to introduce a single breakfast package. It’s a waste to buy a two-person package for a business trip alone.

Room: clean and tidy, complete facilities Transportation: It is easy to find according to the location of the landlord's prompt. It should be more convenient to wait for Line 5.
