The hotel environment is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. It's very close to the lake; even though I booked an experience room, I could see the lake as soon as I went downstairs. The breakfast was rich and nutritious. The individual set meal was delicious. The butler, Zhima, provided warm service. The fatigue from the long, bumpy journey disappeared as soon as I sat down in the Three-Color Cloud River lobby. It's very convenient whether you're going for a meal or to a song and dance show. The hotel is in the center of the village, and the disposable amenities in the room are very well stocked, including earplugs, facial masks, and disposable face towels. The complimentary sweet soup for bedtime was also delicious. The influencer swing has a great vibe and is perfect for photos; the photographer's skills are excellent, and they know how to compose a shot. Although the courtyard rooms are under renovation this season, it wasn't very noisy overall. I'm really looking forward to coming back next time. I hope their parking lot will be fixed sooner for my next visit. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely come again; both the elderly and children were very happy. I've found a hidden gem of a hotel! [grin][grin]
I booked a designer hotel right by the lake in Daluoshui Village this time. The butler contacted me in advance to arrange my check-in, and there was a dedicated car to pick me up from the entrance of Daluoshui Village.
The hotel is very new, the room had no strange odors, and the amenities were quite comprehensive. The butler, Zhaxi Yangge, provided warm and thoughtful service, and even gave me a souvenir when I left.
P.S. The scenery was incredible all three days I was here, and coupled with the hotel's exceptional service, this trip to Lugu Lake was absolutely worth it!
Fantastic experience! The lake view room offers stunning views of Lugu Lake right from the window. Waking up to the sunrise every morning was absolutely beautiful 🥰. The room itself is quite spacious and comfortable. I stayed for 4 nights, and every day included breakfast and afternoon tea – very enjoyable. The owner was incredibly accommodating and always met our requests 👍. Even the driver they arranged for us provided excellent service.
Service: The service was excellent. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂.
Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating.
Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!
The most delightful stay we had in Lugu Lake was undoubtedly Xiwuyu. It's genuinely right on the waterfront, with absolutely no obstructions. The fourth-floor viewing platform offers a direct, panoramic view of the entire azure lake. In the mornings, you can enjoy the misty lake surface, and in the evenings, watch the sunset paint the water gold – the view is simply breathtaking.
The hotel itself blends Wabi-sabi with Mosuo aesthetics, with clever design touches evident throughout the architecture, public areas, and guest rooms. The rooftop observation deck is perfect for snapping atmospheric photos.
I particularly want to commend Jiamu at the front desk. She was efficient and attentive during check-in, proactively sharing scenic routes around the lake and recommending photo spots. Any request we had was met with a timely response, delivered with kindness and thoughtfulness. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for a truly relaxing stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Lugu Lake; I'll definitely choose it again next time.
This is arguably one of the larger hotels by Lugu Lake. Compared to the purely guesthouse-style accommodations nearby, the service here is much more professional and formal. The two ladies at the front desk were particularly welcoming and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Daloshui, with complete amenities, yet it's surprisingly quiet – a real oasis in a lively area. Even though our room was only a partial lake view, we could still fully enjoy the beautiful Lugu Lake from the balcony. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our stay, but I hope to have the chance to visit again.
I highly recommend staying at this hotel in Lugu Lake during winter. First and foremost, the underfloor heating is a game-changer – sleeping at night was incredibly comfortable. Secondly, the bedding and duvet were really cozy. They offer breakfast, afternoon tea, and a late-night snack. I wasn't eating much and my blood sugar was a bit low, causing a headache at night, but a bowl of tremella soup really helped. The owner even thoughtfully drove me to get some medicine. The lake is right at the doorstep, a truly close-up experience with a pebble beach – there aren't many places like this around Lugu Lake. At night, the sound of the lake water lapping against the shore is incredibly therapeutic. In the morning, the owner even sprayed water with a water gun to create a unique misty 'pillar' landscape, which shows great attention to detail.
This guesthouse in Lugu Lake is truly an all-rounder, perfect for couples, families with children, or even multi-generational trips! It's located on the edge of Daloshui Village, offering a peaceful retreat while still being within walking distance to the main street for shopping and dining – incredibly convenient. Right outside, you'll find a stony beach leading directly to Lugu Lake, making it easy to stroll, admire the lake views, and spot the 'Water Willow' flowers. During this trip, I also saw guesthouses around Langfang Village, most of which were quite remote with limited amenities nearby. In comparison, for the same price point, this guesthouse is a no-brainer.
The guest rooms are also quite spacious for this price range, providing a comfortable and unconfined stay. The staff, particularly Yezi, offers thoughtful and attentive service, and the in-house dining is excellent – both the afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite. We were so satisfied with the overall experience that we extended our initial two-night booking by an extra night.
Considering its location, rooms, service, and food, there are absolutely no shortcomings. It's a very reliable choice when visiting Lugu Lake. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!
Anxia Mountain & Lake Resort, Lugu Lake: A Healing Utopia Hidden in the Lake's Embrace
What surprised me most about this trip to Lugu Lake wasn't the scenery, but the Anxia Mountain & Lake Resort, which I booked by chance. A 'transitional option' at just 193 yuan a night for a mist and lake view king room, it unexpectedly became the most heartwarming anchor point of my entire trip, truly helping me understand the slow pace and beauty of Lugu Lake.
I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning. As the car drove into the narrow lanes of Luoshui Shang Village, the outside noise gradually faded, leaving only the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore. The hotel's exterior exuded a minimalist, forest-like quality, devoid of overly commercialized, flashy designs. Instead, it felt like a small courtyard nestled between the lake and mountains, quiet and relaxing. During check-in, the staff's warmth instantly melted away my travel fatigue. There was no rigid, formalized service; instead, they greeted me with the familiarity of an old friend, offered local herbal tea, and even shared the best spot to watch the sunrise the next day. They thoughtfully marked out lesser-known walking trails nearby – every detail spoke of genuine care.
Pushing open the room door, I was immediately stunned by the view. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling window directly faced Lugu Lake, the water like a crumpled sapphire. Gamu Goddess Mountain shimmered in and out of view amidst the mist, and the evening glow painted the lake surface a warm orange, with even the wind carrying the crisp scent of the lake. The room's decor was simple yet tasteful, with natural wood furniture paired with soft, warm lighting. There was no superfluous decoration, yet thoughtfulness was evident everywhere: the soft mattress and bedding felt like sinking into clouds, and there were even both soft and firm pillows to choose from. The dry/wet separated bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries had a faint herbal scent, leaving me completely relaxed after a shower. The table thoughtfully provided bottled water and local specialty snacks, and even a humidifier was pre-arranged, perfectly addressing the issue of the high-altitude dryness.
But the most healing part was the morning. I was awakened at dawn by sounds from outside the window. Drawing back the curtains, I saw the morning mist gently drifting across the lake like a veil, with distant islands appearing and disappearing within it. A pig trough boat slowly glided by, leaving a gentle ripple. I sat in the chair by the window, watching the sun slowly pierce through the clouds, painting the mist golden. My breathing slowed, and in that moment, all my anxieties were swept away by the lake breeze.
atorial advantage, the hotel's location was also exceptionally convenient. Just a few steps out the door led to the lakeside path, where the gentle smoke from cooking fires curled up from distant Mosuo villages, full of everyday life. The hotel's common areas were also very comfortable, with a terrace perfect for relaxing. Sitting there, soaking up the sun and sipping tea, one could easily spend an entire afternoon.
Compared to those thousand-yuan-plus 'influencer' hotels around Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake, without excessive marketing, gave me a perfect surprise with its genuine experience. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks, but rather uses clean rooms, attentive service, and breathtaking lake views to allow every guest to feel the gentle embrace of Lugu Lake.
After this trip, my friend and I agreed that next time we visit Lugu Lake, we must stay here again. It's like a utopia hidden in the lake's light – not noisy, not deliberate, yet it welcomes every distant traveler with the most relaxed demeanor. If you're looking for a place to find peace in Lugu Lake, Anxia Mountain & Lake will definitely not disappoint.
Lugu Lake still feels quite untouched and not overly commercialized, with fewer crowds. This particular B&B, Shui Tian Yi She in Daluoshui Village, is excellent! [Strong recommendation] The room was spotless, even the sofa cushions in the living room were impeccably clean! It faces Lugu Lake and Gemu Goddess Mountain directly, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. The staff at the B&B were all very kind. As soon as we entered the backyard after a day out, someone would come out to greet us, offer an umbrella, or ask if we needed a late-night snack or afternoon tea. They were very enthusiastic about helping with travel planning or arranging boat rentals, and the boat prices were reasonable. The room rates were also very good; our duplex room was 488 a night, and I felt it was even more comfortable than some rooms costing over a thousand! Families with children would love this type of room; even my 'big kid' son enjoyed playing games in the ball pit under the slide. Plus, there are three adorable cats at the property, and one of them loved coming into our room to play [chuckle]. Oh, and in the evenings, you can enjoy free live music with singing and guitar at the front desk bar.

The service is very good, the boss wife is very good, and the big sister who makes breakfast is also very enthusiastic. Seeing that we have two women, we arranged two sets of disposable towels intimately. The location is different. I think it is very good, but my daughter doesn't like it very much. Just by the lake, the lakeside park is very quiet. The only regret is that there is an orchard next to it. The rooster starts to call at 4:30 in the morning, affecting sleep. I hope the store and several peers next to it solve this problem. The facilities are still very good, that is the hot water bottle, Although the boss taught me, I still don’t use it. Just use that ordinary one. The health is also good. The new store is still possible in this regard. Generally speaking, it is worth recommending, especially for quiet friends (provided that the problem of rooster crows is solved)

The hotel is located near Xiaoyuba, 2 km from Daluoshui Village. It's convenient for commuting, and you can call a Didi or electric scooter. The hotel's housekeeper, ”Xiao Ma,” will also provide pick-up and drop-off services, especially if you need to be picked up at the bus station.
The room was smart, with voice control. The balcony offered a beautiful and cozy lake view. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, and coffee or juice were provided. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
I was so lucky to have chosen this Lugu Lake Wonderful Hotel! From the window, I was greeted by stunning lake views. The water shimmered in the morning mist, and every photo I took looked like a postcard! The room was meticulously appointed, with everything from underfloor heating to a smart toilet – a true delight for those who love detail. The owner also enthusiastically shared the route around the lake and his favorite photo spots. Listening to the guest singing and playing guitar in the evening was truly captivating! From check-in to check-out, I was treated so warmly. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lugu Lake! I highly recommend it to everyone visiting!

I booked a room online one day in advance, and was very satisfied when I arrived at the inn. The inn has a spacious courtyard directly connected to the lakeshore. The courtyard is decorated in an artistic and sunny way. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It faces Lugu Lake and has an unobstructed view. Standing in front of the window on the third floor, it seems as if the lake is right at your feet, and its height is comparable to that of the green mountains. The young man who received us at the inn was very enthusiastic and took special care of us elderly people. We felt very warm and grateful to him. The breakfast was good. Fruit snacks were delivered to the room as soon as I returned to the room at noon, and hot Tremella soup was delivered in the evening. Special five-star rating.
This hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the lake and the bonfire party square. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hot water pressure is fantastic. The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful; she planned our itinerary and even gave us tips for places to visit in Lijiang when she heard we were heading there next. Plus, parking is super convenient as they have their own lot. Staying here makes everything easy, from dining to activities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lugu Lake – you won't be disappointed!
There are many famous hotels in Lugu Lake. I think this one is the most cost-effective. Other homestays can see the lake view. The rooms are more than 400. The price of this one is the most real. After staying for 2 nights, the curtains are opened to Lugu Lake. The pictures are all taken in the room!
The decoration is relatively modern, unlike some homestays, which are wooden interiors, which are more difficult to accept. Fully equipped, smart toilet, 100-inch projection, bathtub, lake view, it is simply worth it!
The so-called New Year is a decent explanation for the past and a gentle opening for the future. This trip, the whole family came to Wuhu, and came to enjoy the warm winter from Panzhihua. The road was a bit long and the scenery was good. The hotel was in the scenic area and watched the sunrise at the window.
The room was very clean, the courtyard was planted with flowers and plants, and I booked two hotels. This one was very satisfied. The young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic to introduce us how to play. Overall, I was very satisfied!
