Tierra Del Sol Resort & Golf

We came for a day with a resort pass which included a credit towards our lunch there. Lunch menu has many options and all delicious You have a beautiful view of the golf course, We loved it. Can I book another day pass for next year? Is there an email address I can email for this ?

We went on a Friday for the Happy Hour and Tapas and we definitely not disappointed. The bartender was awesome and made our drinks as requested and also offered suggestions and all were great. The Tapas food as well as some from the regular menu were all great. Will definitely do dinner again there next year.

This is the second time my husband and I have come here for a couples Hot Stone massage. I had made a reservation months in advance. When we got to the front desk they had no confirmation of my reservation. The two women at the desk were very nice and worked very hard. Reschedule us into that day. It didn't mean our appointment didn't start until late, but at least we got in. I would recommend confirming your appointment prior to just showing up. Reasons I like this location for a massage in Aruba is that included in your massage is usage of the steam room, sauna, hot tub, resort pool and you can even order food if you want it. The pool area is beautiful and overlooks the end of the island and the ocean. Last year when we came it was completely dead and we had pretty much the entire place for ourselves. It was pretty much the same this year. The pool is beautiful so not sure why it is not more crowded but I am not complaining. We had requested the same ladies (Lady & Marguerite) that we had last year as they were phenomenal, probably the best massages we have ever had. I was told that Lady was no longer there but that they would find somebody just as wonderful. Obviously that was not the case as I did not even have a record of my appointment. They were able to get Marguerite for my husband's massage. She was wonderful once again. I had Jacqueline and she was good. We will continue to go here every year for our massages just because of location and how relaxed we feel afterwards.

My husband & I rented a villa (NJF Estates) in this lovely Golf Resort estate, the view was the golf course, watching people play and zooming off in the little golf carts. Loads of stunning homes, extremely quiet even with lots of homes being renovated or built the noise is not intrusive at all, very considerate workers. The restaurant Tierra del Sol is just glorious, setting, food & service.

Three of us visited on Valentine’s Day and my mom and husband enjoyed the wonderful “Surf and Turf” Special. I enjoyed the perfectly pan seared “fresh catch” grouper and chef graciously allowed me to substitute the coconut yellow curry sauce in lieu of the garlic white wine sauce ( I have previously enjoyed that sauce but wanted to try something new.) Despite the busy holiday, every dish was perfection, service was on point and we had a delicious “Heart Day” dinner!

My fiancé and I came here as locals to enjoy a spa day for an early Valentine’s Day gift. When you book a massage you are also able to use the amenities of the property such as the pool, fitness center, and jacuzzi. This is a great plus. The local discount is also appealing.The pool is great and serene. Lunch was delicious with an excellent view. The relaxation area of the spa before you enjoy your massage is very small and cramped. There were used glasses at the tables that no one had picked up from prior guests. The jacuzzi although nice and hot was full of little gnats. The massage itself was relaxing however the massage tables are uncomfortable. After my massage I looked under the sheet and they had a towel stuffed between the creases of the table. Not sure if those tables are made for massage or other medical uses? I could feel that underneath of me during the massage. The spa definitely needs updating with more attentive staff. There were 2 receptionists that sat at the check in that I feel was a bit unnecessary seeing the neglect of the relaxation space.

We are very pleased to have ventured to this new dining experience for us … Taxi to Nord almost to the Lighthouse … may add to the dining expense but it’s well worth it … The location is priceless … the facility offers creative, spacious, high end dining seating in a variety of settings … the gourmet food and wonderful professional service was wonderful … we shared a salad, each enjoyed the Chef fish special … Mahi Mahi + Barracuda with excellent fresh mixed vegetables … the de-caf cappuccino was 4.5 stars ! Our wine selection was Sancerre Loire, France … fantastic!!! Very special … we will be back … Frequently Well Done !

SOLO GOLF REVIEW (not the resort part): Easy to sign up, I did both play with a foursome and I had two solo rounds for myself. Just a beginner golfer, but just to give everybody (new and old golfers) a good idea of what the course is like, this is what I've encountered: If you don't drive well from the tee, you'll lose a lot of balls. The bushes and tall grasses are difficult/impossible to find your ball even if you see EXACTLY where it went. I've lost 9 golf balls in one round (again, I'm a beginner). But if you do connect well and make consistent shots, you'll be rewarded by a VERY firm and hard set of fairways and greens. Even with my lack of experience, once I connected, I had some good distance "total" distance hits. The grasses are Bermuda but the soil underneath is hard and will make your ball travel easily. For experienced golfers that go out to pricey private clubs or have played on popular high-end courses will notice that the tees and greens are patchy, are rough and have bare areas. Not super high quality. But for the casual golfer, it works fine. Watch for the national bird, the Aruba Burrowing Owl, all over the course and they have burrows at some tees and bunkers. The 15th hole is a shot over water and should only be attempted by expert or VERY consistent golfers. The staff is wonderful, they'll set up the carts and clubs for you. When booking, they'll give you a discount on 3 or more reservations made. From other sites, some will complain that it's windy, but that doesn't affect your shots that much, it's the turf and underlying hard soil. I'm only rating this as a four for being very challenging for a beginner, easy to lose balls.

BEST WEDDING VENUE IN ARUBA!!!!! We are beyond grateful for the incredible work Tierra del Sol Resort & Golf’s event coordinator, Emilio, put into making our special day absolutely perfect. His attention to detail, creativity, and dedication made the entire process seamless and unforgettable. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of our wedding, Emilio was a guiding light, ensuring every aspect was flawless. His expertise and passion truly shone through, and we couldn't have asked for a better coordinator in this journey. The waiters, waitresses and bartenders on 10/29/23 truly made our event unforgettable. They are WONDERFUL. Regarding the service as a whole, let me be the FIRST TO TELL YOU, our water glasses were NEVER empty, the food was to die for, the drinks were spectacular and the bartenders ensured everyone always had a full cocktail in their hand. 10/10 stars for Emilio, his staff and TDS!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you.
