What a lovely hotel. Really good sized room with all facilities we wanted, plenty of hanging space for clothes, tea and coffee making facilities and beautifully clean. Lovely bar area and super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend. Thank you

I often use Premier Inn hotels, but the 3 night stay I've just had stay at Norwich Duke Street didn't come up to my expectations. Our room was far too warm, even with the window open and the provided pedestal fan running constantly. I mentioned this to the chap in reception when checking out this morning and I was told that this is known problem with the building which customers frequently complain about, even in the winter. He went on to say that the they put portable air conditioners in the premier plus rooms and suggested that next time I book one of these. I don't think this is an acceptable answer. Why should I have to pay extra to be comfortable when there is a known issue with the temperature of the rooms?

Room was ok, could have been cleaner. Staff were fantastic no complaints. Breakfast was an experience - multiple people in pyjamas, large group of people cleared everything from the cooked counter into lunch bags and containers so we waited a while for more food to be cooked. Environment around the hotel at night didn’t feel safe for me as a single woman with children. Lots of people hanging around the hotel doorway, strong smell of **** and some one used the lift as a urinal - we won’t stay again.

Noise from street outside window until 3.30am, shortly followed by traffic noise, so we got very little sleep! Our 'Heritage' room had neither beams nor a fireplace (as described on website) and was small and awkwardly shaped, with much of the room being taken up by a freestanding bathtub so that the wardrobe was crammed against a wall on the opposite side. The room was unwelcoming to say the least. When we mentioned the street noise on checking out, we were told to ask for a quiet room next time.....there will not be a next time. We booked directly with the hotel and were not told anything about street noise. A fridge with a loud hum was placed on top of a small table next to the wardrobe. Breakfast was adequate but poached eggs were hard. Not a wonderful experience.

Booked here for a trip to the theatre which turned out to be a 10 minute walk from hotel perfect if weather permits. Rooms are clean with a large comfortable bed. Parking was free with plenty of spaces. We returned after theatre at 10.45 to be told the bar will be closing at 11pm but more people were arriving so the lady on reception continued to serve whilst preparing for the following mornings breakfast. Breakfast was good but ordered from a menu not a buffet style. All things considered a good choice for a weekend trip to Norwich.

We booked here to attend our daughter's graduation at UEA. Me, my husband and our son stayed in the blue room and it was beautiful. The room was huge with a massive four poster bed, a single bed and a sofa. The beds were incredibly comfy and the owners were very accommodating in providing non feather bedding. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided in the bathroom. A good selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate were supplied along with bottles of water and a mini fridge. We were also given a jug of fresh milk on arrival. As our daughter has decided to remain in Norwich, we will most definitely be returning each time we visit. Due to the current food price hikes, the breakfast is now continental but the choice was more than enough: pastries, yoghurts, fruit, cereals and freshly cooked toast.
