Family-friendly Hotels in Ocean Grove

Took a small group to Ocean Grove & stayed at The Riverside Motel for 4 nights. The service was truly amazing. The owners Elise & Michael, who are the friendliest couple, went above and beyond, to ensure everyone's needs were met & then some. The units were so very comfortable & the continental breakfasts so very generous. Thanks Elise, Michael & our wonderful tour guide & driver Neville. When you stay at Ti-Tree Village in Ocean Grove, you'll be by the ocean, within a 10-minute walk of Lake Connewarre Wildlife Reserve and Raffs Beach. This family-friendly cottage is 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from Ocean Grove Beach and 1.9 mi (3.1 km) from Frank Ellis Reserve Beach.Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as an arcade/game room and a picnic area.The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.Make yourself at home in one of the 18 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with full-sized refrigerators/freezers and ovens. Rooms have private balconies or patios. 32-inch flat-screen televisions can provide entertainment. Conveniences include microwaves and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided weekly.

Last minute booking as we had some issues with our initial reservation with another accommodation nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. He shared some nice recommendations around the Great Ocean Road during our stay too. Only drawback was that our trip was during end Winter, where tourism was dull, hence many amenities such as dining in the resort itself was not available.

A very good stay experience. This is a self-driving campsite located in Torquay, the starting point of the Great Ocean Road, with a variety of room types. The rooms are large, clean, and equipped with fully equipped kitchens. We purchased ingredients from Coles and WW not far away and made two meals ourselves. The campsite is conveniently located on Ocean Road, just a few minutes' drive from the town centre. If you check in after hours, they will put the keys in the safe at the entrance, and you can ask for the safe password with just a phone call.

Caution: Think twice before booking here! Our group of six families had high hopes for this trip, primarily drawn by the promise of great amenities for our kids and the allure of firepits. We cherish the cosy atmosphere of gathering around a fire, toasting marshmallows, and the kids enjoying the colourful display of throwing rainbow coloured flame packs into the fire. Regrettably, upon arrival, we discovered that fires weren't allowed, despite being advertised otherwise. When we questioned the staff about this discrepancy, their response lacked professionalism, merely pointing to buried terms and conditions. While we understand the importance of adhering to these conditions, receiving them on the day of arrival—hidden on page 14 of a 32-page document—left us feeling trapped, especially given it was a long weekend. There is a gas firepit but pretty pointless as you cannot toast marshmallows there also. Our experience was marred further by the presence of a rowdy group near the playground and toilets, who harassed our friends without provocation. Despite our concerns, there was no apology or follow-up from staff, even after learning that one other family that stayed directly accross from the considered involving the police. Additionally, the rescheduling of kids' activities without notice added to our frustration as we had other plans that same day. And when we requested to light coals for a BBQ, another favorite camp tradition, we were met with another firm no. Privacy was also lacking, with constant foot traffic through our campsite. And people that stayed in the cabins behind us kept staring uncomfortably at our camp and what we were doing... Toilets and bathrooms were disgusting, the mop and bucket was left inside in the same spot the whole weekend, made me wonder if anyone came to clean the place at all? Overall, this park fell far short of expectations. Consider yourself warned: Stay at your own risk! And make sure you read the 32 pages of terms and conditions (hopefully before your arrival) Ps they offer free WiFi that doesn't work!!! 

The hotel is one of Australia's top 100 golf courses. It's very new. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The stadium has a supporting restaurant. Friends who go to Geelong can stay there.

The hotel is actually a RV camp. There are a lot of RVs in it. But Ctrip has a wooden house. The kitchen utensils have cooking utensils. There is a children's playground in the park. It is suitable for children to play. The park is directly adjacent to the beach, but we go. When the sea breeze is too big, there is no long time to stay at the beach. The hotel is also very close to the coles supermarket. It is very convenient to live here.

This hotel is a golf hotel in a quieter location in Torquay, where you can have breakfast and watch golf, or have dinner and watch golf. You can take a walk on the golf course. The hotel room is very clean and quite big. The bed is very soft and I feel quite comfortable. The hotel does not include breakfast, you have to pay for breakfast yourself. There is a beach not far from the hotel, which is very beautiful when the sun goes down. The Sands Torquay Hotel written by Xicheng cannot be found on Google. The name of the hotel should be The Sands. Love this hotel very much.

We had a fabulous stay at Oxley Estate, and the Manor accommodation was superb,fitted 2 families comfortable. It comes with comfy bedding, fully equiped kitchen and plenty of seating. The pool and bbq area are great and the farm animals were an absolute hit. The hosts are truly the best and super helpful.
