The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the service was outstanding! Especially the lady who came by with the cart every evening – she was incredibly warm. She'd explain the sightseeing routes in detail, thoughtfully bring us hot porridge, and even give snack packs to the kids. The best part was when we came back from hiking, she actually brought us foot-soaking tubs and herbal medicine packs, recommending we soak our feet to relieve fatigue. She was truly exceptional!

This hotel experience exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star rating! The hotel environment is elegant and clean, and the public areas are stylishly designed, quiet, and comfortable, creating a perfect ambiance. The room was spacious and bright, with comprehensive and modern facilities like smart home controls, a high-definition projector, and branded toiletries. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff were efficient and thoughtful, responding promptly to all requests. Every detail was meticulously handled and incredibly heartwarming. The hygiene was spotless, making for an excellent stay. This will be my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I will definitely be back!

The location is fantastic, very lively surroundings. If you arrive late, you can park your car across the street at Wanda Plaza. The lobby is on the 7th floor. It's a hotel with a great sense of design, and the rooms have a smart system with voice control. The service is excellent; they even provide little tips upon check-in with useful information. I was very satisfied with my stay.
Facilities: Complete, they even provide earplugs and hair ties, very thoughtful details.
Luggage delivery to South Railway Station/Airport/partner hotels: Luggage delivery service is available.
The service was incredibly attentive and warm, making our stay very enjoyable. This hotel is genuinely excellent; it's our second time staying here. The front desk staff are all wonderful, and the room they arranged for us was fantastic. It even had a full-length mirror and a makeup mirror, which was super convenient. Plus, the front desk offers complimentary Hanfu rentals! The subway station is also very close, just 50 meters from the hotel entrance, and it's very near Wanjiali Plaza.

The hotel's location is definitely a major plus. If you're visiting Changsha and have done your research, you should definitely consider this hotel – it's super convenient for getting pretty much anywhere. For example, Orange Isle (Juzizhou) is just one subway stop away, right across the street. Plus, you can't even drive onto Orange Isle, so the subway is the way to go. The room we were given had a great design, and we could see the Xiang River. We extended our stay for another night, and the front desk service was excellent.

I was very satisfied with the hotel. It's close to the subway, a museum, and Martyrs' Park. The hotel's environment and facilities are excellent. I loved that I could just ask the smart speaker to turn off the lights without getting out of bed – super convenient! The room was quiet too. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and the breakfast was delicious. I also want to give a special shout-out to front desk employee number three; their service was excellent and very thoughtful. All in all, highly recommended!

The room was lovely, and my kids absolutely loved it! The location is super convenient too, with a subway station right downstairs. We also enjoyed the delicious local dishes at 'Pang Dong Gua Liuyang Cuisine' located just below the hotel. Plus, 'Zisu Taozi' and 'Good Mooning' are just across the street, adding to the convenience.
The night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache.
First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance.
Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient.
Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick.
Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance.
For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.
The hotel offers free underground parking. Our room was on the 50-something floor, with amazing views and a unique design. The mini-fridge was stocked with beer and drinks. The bathtub even came with disposable tub liners, bath salts, and steam eye masks – very thoughtful touches. The staff were all very enthusiastic, and there's WeChat customer service that responds quickly. Unfortunately, it was rainy and foggy during our stay, which obscured the view, otherwise it would have been a beautiful river view. I'd definitely choose this place again next time.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Wuyi Square, making transportation super convenient. The room layout is beautiful, and the host keeps everything spotlessly clean. I personally found the soundproofing to be excellent, and having independent Wi-Fi in the room with a strong signal was a big plus. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They were great at recommending local food and beautiful scenic spots. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Changsha!

JJess and familyWe booked this hotel since it was closer to Tiamen mountain. Unfortunately the hotel is very far away from everything else and you don’t have any restaurants nearby except for the hotel restaurant.
When we booked this hotel we got an offer to get:
1 craftsman beer
100 yuan in didi tickets
2 tickets to an exhibition.
Even these we never received, the 100 yuan in didi (taxi) tickets we got when we asked for them and showed them the booking information and even though they saw the booking information in Chinese the didn’t get us the offer that we had paid for.
When we arrived at the hotel which is very grand and look very nice upon arrival they greeted us at the car which is expected for a hotel that grand but that was only the first day they did that. All other times when we got to the hotel no one greeted us, they were all busy talking to each other instead.
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and even though we booked a family room where they know 4 people was staying they gave us only amenities such as towels etc for 2 people so every day we needed to wait and ask for 2 more towels before we took a shower.
We also booked excursions through the hotel to visit Grand Canyon and also Tiamen mountain and paid over 1600 yuan for the whole family with everything included. When we came to Grand Canyon we couldn’t experience what we were there for (the zipline) because it had weight restrictions and when we contacted the sales person from the hotel she didn’t take any responsibility and just blamed everything else instead of saying that she was sorry. The day after we visited Tiamen mountain and here we had also booked a ticket that should have included everything and when we came there it was hidden fees that the sales person from the hotel hadn’t told us. When we contacted her again it was the same response that she blamed everything else instead of taking responsibility for that she hadn’t told us everything that she needed to tell us.
No compensation was given by the hotel and no excuse. When we checked ut the staff said that they would be happy if we could give them a 5 star review and my response was that I will give you a review but it’s not going to be 5 star. When they asked us explain why we did and they blamed it on the language barrier which I don’t buy since all the messages and sales were done through translation app and also through WeChat were you can translate into your own language. It would have been so easy for the hotel to say I’m sorry and for example as a compensation from us you can go down to the buffé restaurant to eat dinner but instead they blamed everything else!
We are world travelers and have been to different cities both in China and also in different country’s around the world and this is one of the hotel were we feel that they had the worst service we have experienced. When we’re coming back we will not stay here again! A fancy hotel that can not live up to the expectations.

Outstanding
Ssharleen5410The location is good, just outside the ancient town, but it's a very short walk. The hotel has parking, which is definitely better than staying inside the ancient town during peak season. There's a shuttle bus stop right next door, which would be more convenient for those traveling by high-speed rail without a car. The hotel's facilities are decent. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, but after trying a noodle shop by the road nearby, I realized that eating outside isn't necessarily better value or tastier. Maybe we just didn't find the right place, as the food quality was pretty much the same both inside and outside the hotel.
Ttianbian****First off, I have to say, this is the best hotel experience I've had domestically. The views are incredible, directly overlooking Tianmen Mountain. My flight landed at midnight, but the butler patiently picked me up. At one point, I wanted to grab a bite and invited the butler to join me, but they politely declined, saying they had other guests to pick up. I really appreciate such a responsible staff member. I'm very satisfied with the hotel's facilities; I didn't encounter any cleanliness issues that some negative reviews mentioned. Perhaps that's more common during peak season. I visited during the off-season, and it happened to be a clear, sunny day, so the 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop was absolutely stunning. I imagine those who had a less-than-ideal experience probably visited on a cloudy day, which might make the hotel appear dated. Also, reading some of those negative reviews in the comments section genuinely made my head spin – are we even talking about the same hotel? For the price you paid, to get a hotel like this, shouldn't you be thrilled? If you're going to complain about everything, maybe don't travel at all. Seriously, I rarely find such a unique hotel in China. The last time I stayed at a hotel that was this delightful and relaxing was in Guilin, but that cost 1600 RMB. Honestly, if you manage to book this hotel, you should be secretly celebrating!

DDijsjeThe positives:
-The couple that run the hotel are sweeter then sugar.
-The bed is amazing, we slept like babies.
-The tub.. the tub was a wonderful add to the room.
The negatives:
-The hotel is in an area that is under construction, next to a building that sends out some loud music and spoken word. So to say you can have a restfull moment during the day, would be a stretch.
-The room looks amazing, but the conatruction is quite weak. If you walk the floorboards, the furniture will wobble heavily.
-There is a bit of a damp smell and we saw some bug-life.
Because of the friendly owners, we would want to recommend this place. But because of the poor construction, the loud sounds surrounding the hotel and the damp smell, compared with the price you pay for your stay (that is not in proportion to the quality you would expect), we sadly have to say we don't recommend..

GGuest UserWonderful stay with amazing hot springs and outstanding service
I had an excellent stay at this hot spring hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The entire property was very clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more relaxing and comfortable. The hot springs were fantastic — peaceful, soothing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day.
What really made this hotel special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, professional, and polite. I would especially like to thank Cherry, who stood out for her kindness, patience, and willingness to help with everything. She made us feel very welcome and taken care of from the beginning to the end of our stay.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing place with hot springs and truly excellent service. I would definitely love to come back again!

GGuest UserThis hotel went above and beyond during my stay. Rain who first greeted us was helpful from the very beginning of the stay until the very end. The hotel provided a detailed route for the Zhangjiajie National Park and even provided transportation to the park and pick up once completed. In addition they assisted with the luggage during check in and check out. If flying or riding into Zhangjiajie, the hotel does offer setting up transportation to and from the hotel if needed at a very reasonable fee. The hotel offered a buffet breakfast and complimentary tea with the tea master, who was also amazing at making the stay feel very welcoming. Once the tea master and Rain found out it was my birthday they made my day one to remember. The tea master wrote me a congratulatory calligraphy scroll and set up a cake with Rain to be given to me as well. The hotel also offered activities every evening. On the day I was able to attend, they taught me how to make peach cookies which was so fun and delicious. The tea master also showed us how to do calligraphy while we waited for the cookies to be baked. Rain set up a Wechat with the staff where I was able to conveniently pre order dinner, which was super delicious. My favorite was the eggplant with pork. I can't express in enough words how everyone here made the stay the most enjoyable. For anyone visiting Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying here. I wish I could have spent more nights here to enjoy the entire resort such as the heated pool and sunset terrace.

JJola VangGreat location! We really loved the hospitality and the landscape here. Warm and friendly. Feels like a family.
From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating, offering a seamless pick-up and drop-off service to the South Entry of the national forest, which was a huge convenience for exploring the stunning surroundings.
The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including high-quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my stay.
One of the highlights was the food. The hotel proudly serves local and organic dishes that are not only delicious but also showcase the rich flavors of the region. Every meal was a delightful experience, making it easy to enjoy the culinary culture of Zhangjiajie.
Additionally, the staff were more than willing to share information about activities in the area and assist with ticket purchases for attractions. Their knowledge and recommendations enhanced my visit significantly.
Overall, I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking to explore Zhangjiajie. The combination of spacious accommodations, warm hospitality, and delicious organic food makes it a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return!

GGuest UserWe would give this 1000 stars if we could! The rooms were gorgeous and luxurious, the view was spectacular, and the staff were absolutely incredible. Tan Jin in particular went above and beyond anything one could expect from a hotel. She arranged transport from the train station to the hotel and back, she upgraded our room for free when she heard we were on our honeymoon, she constantly offered water and rice wine, she booked our trips to the Grand Canyon, the Zhang jia Jie dance show, the Zhang Jia Jie National Park, Tianmen mountain and more, AND THEN she would sit down with us and personally design a walking route through all these tourist attractions that was specific to our tastes. She helped us find secret back paths to help us avoid crowds and catch specific events that were only happening during the night. No language barrier or special request was too much for her. For example, she let us know we could drop off our luggage at the luggage holding service at the entrance to Tianmen mountain. The staff there wanted us to pick it up at 7:00, meaning we would miss the light show. When Tan Jin heard this, she said, ”No way. Let me call them right now, ” and five minutes later, we could pick them up at 8:30... and did I mention we were only staying with the hotel for 1 night? She was still assisting us for free TWO DAYS after we checked out. Whoever is in charge of the hotel PLEASE GIVE HER A RAISE!! We will be recommending this hotel to absolutely everyone visiting China. It should be a tourist destination in and of itself.

DDaniel MaisternFenghuang is an incredible city, and staying at Muse Light Luxury Riverview Hostel made the experience even better. The balcony view was absolutely stunning - a perfect spot to enjoy the iconic Phoenix Bridge and the beautiful riverside scenery.
The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony itself was a highlight - relaxing and private, with a view that made every moment special.
The service was attentive and warm, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
Super recommended — we will definitely be back!
AAnonymous UserVery near Zhangjiajie forest park. The owner/staff is really nice, we haven’t book anything for Zhangjiajie. She helped us booking for Zhangjiajie forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. Likewise, she helped us in planning everything. She’s been really nice and helpful, asking us if we need some help. On our last night we need to checked in early as our baby is having motion sickness whenever we go out, so we decided somewhere near the railway. She understands and still offer some advice what to do for his motion sickness. Such a lovely lady.
