Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

Excellent if you are on a budget better than Rosin Inn which is brits tend to go the room worked out at £45 per night for a family of four plus you get free buffet breakfast food nice hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks fruit and yogurts scrambled eggs bacon everything is their no parking fee we didn’t pay a resort fee either staff lovlely twice my son put an egg in the microwave and it exploded they never complained room spotless free shuttles to both Disney and universal

Pro - Good location on International Dr and very convenient for those who want to take an i-ride trolley to explore the area. - Walkable to Orange county convention center - very close to CVS and walkable to Walgreen - The room comes with a decent fridge (no freezer compartment) and a microwave. - Three swimming pools - Room is clean and the bed is comfy. Con - Room is quite old and outdated. - although it comes with a fridge and a microwave, there is no small dining table in the room and there is only one chair on a working table. - Check in is at 4 PM which is very late and the check out line is very loooong. --＞ be prepared to be in line for 15 min to get the room checked out.

Pleasant stay, clean hotel, helpful staff. Maybe some extra shower gel would be helpful , 1 soap bar and tiny shampoo was a bit small. I didnt like the wardrobe style toilet door. Not having ventilation or windows in the bathroom + not able to open windows in the room and having a toilet door that doesnt close completely can make things uncomfortable . Elevator was extremely slow. this is more for the visitors of the hotel : there was the tendency people just sitting at the corridors and speak loud. That was a bit annoying / not sure why someone has to be outside of his room at have a video call. Overall though was a pleasant stay. I cannot judge the location as we had a car and we were comfortable to go around where we needed.

This hotel was so very convenient. It was exceptionally clean the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely the place to stay.

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? We have stayed here now at least half a dozen times & are pleased with prices & amenities. It's not the Ritz but it's sufficient for a place to lay our heads after a long day at the parks. My child loves the pool & game room. We also love the breakfast buffet. The gift shop is convenient too. I only wish their shuttle went to the Disney parks. They are also dog friendly which was a bonus this last trip.

The front desk staff is courteous. Breakfast can be free as long as you register as a Hyatt member. It is a bit of a hassle to pick up the airport pick-up shuttle bus to take the initiative to call the hotel.

Perfect hotel if leaving for a cruise

We are a family of 11, and getting the 2 BR suites was perfect. We got 2 suites to comfortably fit our group. The rooms were great, despite the fact that it's an older hotel. The kitchen was really helpful esp when we just wanted to have some meals in-house. We just bought some stuff from Publix and cooked a meal on one of our last nights while packing. The kitchen was fully equipped, and they also provided dish soap and a sponge which was great. New towels were provided each day but I had to ask. They only clean the rooms twice a week. The beds were comfy, showers had good water pressure too. The Hot breakfast was great, including eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, bread, coffee, juice, fruits, and very nice cook-yourself waffles. The breakfast area never got really packed, we always got a table. We were there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It was also nice to be able to bring breakfast up to the room, especially for the kids. Coffee was available all day in the lobby. I love the lounge area by the lobby. It was a nice place to wait for the rest of our group, with comfy seats and a refreshing area. As I said, the hotel is a bit outdated so they will need to fix the paint, renew the carpets, brighten the lights, etc soon to stay competitive, but other than that, it was clean and the service was good. The staff at the front desk was great, the Shuttle service was on par, and we had a very early flight and took the 4:30 am shuttle. We booked ahead and they could accommodate us and our big luggage. The general manager Marisela Keller who handled our email inquiries very early on before our stay was excellent. We sent some inquiries and special requests twice, and both times she responded very promptly and clearly. It was a big factor in why we chose this hotel as well over another one that we prebooked.
