Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport

All these bad reviews are CRAZY! The room was beautiful. The A/C worked great. Everything was extremely clean!!!! 10/10 Service! Patti at the front desk provided superb customer service & hospitality. My husband went to a wedding in the area while I was home sick & Patti at the front desk helped me with all my questions and needs getting my husband setup there. With a previous night of the hotel being sold out she still helped him get checked in asap so he could get ready for the wedding. Although I know I bothered her with my million questions lol she still made me feel like it was no worry at all. There are very FEW places left with people like Patti. Please take care of her Marriott and keep her forever. Thank you again Patti & hopefully I can thank you in person one day!

First and last stay. Pluses: Convenient enough to reach. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Negatives: The bathroom was disgusting. (See photos). Other parts of the room were sparkles but not painted, beat up door jams etc. This was the “suite” that I paid for. Based on my status, Platinum or Titanium, I requested top floor away from elevator when I reserved. I received middle floor directly across from the elevator. Obviously nobody cared to read the preferences. (The hotel was 3/4 empty based on cars in the parking lot).

Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. Quiet. Rooms are comfortable. Bathroom spacious. Large TV. Well maintained. Clean. Easy to get to off of I84. Number of places to eat at near by driving. Nice hotel to stay at.

I am coming from Georgia and I stayed for 3 nights. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for something affordable, and clean. The staff here was phenomenal as well. We were welcomed with free wine and a clean room. The room cleaners were great as well as the front desk staff. We spend a lot of time at the bar and the bartender was amazing. He gave us free popcorn and beer. I couldn’t be more pleased while visiting from a long distance.

While looking for a business hotel close to Stewart airport the Orange County Chamber recommended the Homewood Suites @ Stewart Airport and I must say it felt like home. Check-in was easy as Renee at the front desk had the pass key in my hand within seconds. In the lobby, I was distracted by the warmth of the fireplace, and the laughter of the guests watching the World Cup on the TV, so I took a few minutes to hang out there. I opened my door and was surprised at how large the room was, the well-stocked kitchen area (if I knew I would have brought food to cook) the living room with the big screen TV, and the bedroom complete with a desk to complete the stack of work I brought with me. I took a break at dinner time since it was Wednesday night and the hotel offers a free mixer to meet other guests and enjoy cheese and crackers, soup and salad along with wine, spirits, and soda. I was so impressed with the clean lines of the hotel that after my swim and dip in the hotel hot tub and pool, Renee introduced me to the manager so I could share my impressions personally. I planned to thank Nicole (Director of Sales) for the unexpected upgrade when she told me all the rooms were like mine, and they were even doing further renovations, impressive. Nicole and Renee thank you for making a business trip feel like a family visit. I guess they not only made me feel special, but it turns out this hotel makes every guest, special. I love this hotel so much, I joined the Marriot Bonvoy club too! Book this hotel, trust me you’ll love it (and don’t forget the outdoor firepit and hot tub)!

As mother of the bride I arranged for a block of 25 rooms at the Courtyard Marriott Newburgh Friday and Saturday July 29-30 2022. Several guests booked outside of the block so we had about 30 rooms. From the time we visited the hotel in February until checkout Sunday morning, our experience could not have been more perfect! The manager, Patty Earl, an experienced hotelier, heads a professional and friendly staff. The lobby was super clean and bright. There’s beautiful new outdoor furniture on a large outdoor patio. The rooms were ready early due to a hard working staff. I stayed in a suite and it was larger than expected. We were able to use the meeting room for breakfast and staff was always present to offer help. I think I asked a lot of questions but I never felt that I was bothering anyone! I’ve read that people who have negative experiences are at least 10 times more likely to leave reviews so it is important to me to leave a positive review! All of our guests were similarly impressed with this hotel. Lastly I think kindness and understanding on the parts of guests is important. Covid took a toll on the hotel industry and if there is a shortage of staff, guests need to understand it is not the fault of those people who are there working, doing their best to accommodate guests. You will not be disappointed to stay at this hotel! We thank Ms Earl and staff again!
