Lub D Osaka Honmachi - Near Dotonbori & Next to Hommachi Station Reviews

The Good: 1. Prime Location – The hotel is in a fantastic spot, within walking distance to Namba and several popular ramen places like Mugen Ramen. There’s also a large supermarket nearby, adding extra convenience. 2. Spacious Rooms – The room size is impressive compared to other chains like APA, offering more comfort and space. 3. Helpful Staff – The ground staff were very accommodating and spoke fluent English, which made our stay much easier. The Not So Good: 1. Poor Internet Speed – The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, making it impossible to attend online meetings or do any substantial work. I had to rely on mobile data for my work calls. The network became particularly slow late at night (around 10 pm to 1 am), making even basic tasks like sending WhatsApp messages difficult. 2. Low Bathroom Ceiling – The bathroom ceiling is quite low, so if you’re taller than 187cm, you might struggle to stand up straight while showering. 3. Noisy and Untidy Lobby at Night – The lobby area gets noisy and messy in the evening, though this seems to be due to some of the guests rather than an issue with the hotel itself.

A colourful, casual hotel with all you need for a comfortable stay. Room not large but ok for a few nights. Bathroom clean and adequate. The windows only open a small way so not easy for fresh air. A metro station is a few minutes walk so easy to get anywhere.

Good location at Honmachi station connect to 3 Osaka metro line, very convenient for transportation.

Located beside famous shopping district. Everything was okay consider the price that I have paid, but the wifi was the worst, can’t even load a 360p video on youtube during certain hours.

Lub D Osaka is the hotel to be in Osaka. Being 15 steps away from the covered shopping Mecca (Shinsaibashi-Dotonburi-Namba). Yes, the whole stretch! It is 2-3 blocks our favorite rotating sushi restaurant too & designer-fashionista Rareeka. Very new & Very accessible too. Depending on how fast you walk, you could reach Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) buses going to the airport in 30 minutes. Worth mentioning is its extra mile customer care (special mention to Ms Claire). & the rotating wheel that could win you an extended extra check out hours and laundry. Well, we were quite lucky! Also the rooms are rightly-sized as it was able to fit 4 luggages. Oh we’re Filipinos so size of room is fine by us. What’s really important is we have a spacious & pristine bathroom complete with luxurious amenities. Their bath foam, shampoo & conditioner smell wonderful. So worth the money. But if you have extra luggages to carry. Do not Exit 12. Go for Exit 7 with the elevators. Lub is a few feet /5 minutes walk away.

No service, hotel is not new even it’s just opened. Not clean, there were hair on towels, stains and mold on shower curtain …

The Hotel is very Amazing. And grest location ,near osaka metro(hommachi).Traveling is very convenient. Can go to every famous place in Osaka.The hotel is able to walk around the famous Shinsaibashi shopping area. Then you can walk to Dongtongburi Street. ❤️❤️❤️

Good service, nearby by train station walk by 5 mins. Lots of shop nearby hotel , will definitely stay again. The only thing I suggest is the pillow too soft. Overall condition is fine for me.

Very strategic location to the tourist attractions especially those that love shopping at Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. About 5min walk to the nearest train station. Room was quite spacious for a japan hotel. Highly recommend this and definitely come back.
