There are also convenient dining options nearby, such as Chinese restaurants and Yoshinoya. It's perfect for business travelers."

"Overall the staff were almost nice and helpful. But there was one staff on the night shift forced to speak Mandarin to us even we talked in English to him. He sounded rude and not willing to talk more and ask us to check in the room. The room was just ok to us in terms of size but it looked old and stains are found in the toilet. The carpet seemed not cleaned regularly and toilet bowl was not the smart toilet which disappointed us. We thought that the smart toilet was the standard in Japan. Never meet this kind of room type in Japan. The location was nice and convenient. It was very closed to Ebisu food street and Tsutenkaku Tower. There are many shopping areas so this location is very convenient."

"The rooms are decent, and the location is convenient, very close to Shinsaibashi. There are many convenience stores nearby, as well as a McDonald's. It's just a 100-meter walk to Yotsubashi subway station, making transportation very easy. I had a great time."

"Room was clean and comfortable and close to a lot of shops and places to eat. Reception was super friendly and kind and welcomed us in. They even accepted a package we mailed to the hotel. It was a great stay. Room is a bit small but that was ok for us :) still big enough for all our suitcases and we had 3 check in luggages lol. Overall great hotel for the price :)"

"This hotel is the 1st one that I choose when I started my japan trip in 2018. Glad to be back here again as this is technically my 3rd time staying. I actually was hopping I got the street view but still it was good.Personally I also quite like the interior design of the hotel. The location of the hotel is good as it is near to the food street of Dotonbori. I actually like the smoothing healing music that was provided on the TV as I will have a short nap while listening to it before moving off. Overall I have a very good experience with my stay. Staffs were friendly and helpful and greeted upon when meeted. I will choose this hotel again next year when I visit japan again."

"Location: Pretty average. While you can see Osaka Castle, it's really far from the train station, and not a central one, so you always have to transfer. Taking a taxi anywhere costs 100+ yen each time. Facilities: Since it's relatively new, the facilities are fine, no issues there. But the rooms are really small, especially in the double rooms where there's basically no space on either side or in front of the bed. It usually sells for just over 1,000 yen on weekdays, but this time, because of a Japanese holiday, it was over 3,000 yen. Decor: To be honest, it feels quite cheap. The music you hear from the guest rooms at night is also a bit eerie... Service: The greeters were definitely hand-picked for their looks. They give you cookies at check-in, and thankfully, they confirmed my allergies. However, my request for a late check-out due to a flight delay was denied. I booked breakfast, but they wouldn't let me in after 10:00 (last entry). That was my fault for missing it, but they did let me take a cup of coffee. Honestly, unless you absolutely *have* to see Osaka Castle, there's no benefit to staying here."

"amazing stay at plum hotel! staff speaks English and Chinese as well, they were very friendly and helpful all the time, they also offer 24h service which is great! room was big enough and could comfortably fit 3 luggages (2 big and 1 cabin). they also offer daily making up of room and every time its very clean and nice! aircon is strong, shampoo/conditioner/body and towels are provided! very fast and fuss free check out process too :＞ as for location wise, almost everything is walking distance which is amazing! the nearest station is daikokucho station which is about an 8min walk away, namba is about a 12min walk away and ashiharabashi station is about a 13min walk (convenient to go USJ). The hotel is almost situated very near the Namba Yasaka Jinja Shrine (3min walk), has a 7-11, family mart, duty free drugstores and 2 supermarkets (LIFE Store and Plus) with walking distance of 5min or less. overall amazing stay!"

"Location is convenient but requires 5 to 10 mins walk to nearest train station. It's in a business neighbourhood so not many late night food options available around but its a nice quiet place to go back to after a day out at bustling umeda or namba. Hotel room was really spacious, nicely done up and comfortable; I wish I had one more night here. Service staff at the lobby were all friendly and they very graciously gave me an early check-in when there was a room available. Highly recommended!"

"The Holiday Inn Osaka Namba was an excellent choice for my trip! I was so impressed with the location. It's absolutely perfect for exploring Osaka, as it is just steps away from the heart of Dotonbori and surrounded by major shopping areas. Being able to step out and immediately be in the middle of the action—from famous food stalls to department stores—made the entire trip so convenient. Furthermore, the hotel itself was wonderfully clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, and the room provided a comfortable and quiet retreat after busy days of sightseeing."

"Affordable hotel with breakfast offered, within walking distance of Namba station, in a lovely colonial looking building. Space wise, the rooms were on the bigger side for Japan standards, which is great. We appreciated the staff for accommodating our request to have 2 adjoining twin rooms and for the smooth process in accepting our luggages at the reception for our self arranged luggage delivery to our Kyoto hotel. The hotel room even had a microwave oven."
