Randor Hotel Namba Osaka Suites

Walking distance from the MTR, very nice and comfy place to stay. Good coffee!!!

We had 2 - two bedroom apartments, and the layout was great. Nice decor and upgraded bathrooms, kitchen. Room for improvement- only one mirror in entire unit, in the shower. A full length mirror would be appreciated. One of the rooms had a strong sewer smell, and the room spray provided and what was used in the lobby was very, very overpowering. Overall lighting was very dark and dim. Also, the hallway once exiting the elevator to room area is extremely dark and dangerous feeling.

Large units

We are a family of 7 and everyone loved the place. It was clean and spacious. There were no room service everyday therefore we only asked for cleaning staff to clean out our rubbish as only when we need it, however the cleaning staff were not able to speak English therefore we used Google translate to communicate. The receptionists were able to speak good amount of English and was very polite. The rooms were very clean and spacious which we were able to open up all of our suitcases with space to walk around. Having a fridge in the apartment was very convenient as we could store our drinks and even ice cream for our late night snacks. The location of the hotel is walkable distance to JR and Tsūtenkaku.

Upgraded from a twin deluxe to a superior suite - with a separate bedroom. Pictures and review is for Superior suite Pluses Rooms are huge by Japanese standards and very reasonable pricing (of course large space and good price = not the most convenient location. Train station is a few doors away. The superior suite had extra 2 sets of bedding. Has a very functional washing machine in the room and drying rack. Room has 1 bath and 2 toilets. Bath has a jacuzzi and toilets have good ventilation. Water pressure is great (never had a complain about a Japanese bathroom functionality) There’s 2 TVs, 1 in the main room and the bedroom Lawson and 7-eleven, along wit Uoshinoya and matsuya are all nearby. Nearest drug store is a few doors away. Minuses Room is huge, air conditioner is overworked and not cold for the big room Not enough hanging space for towels (no complain when it’s just 2 people but with 6/8/10 pax in the apartment, hanging space (even racks are quite sparse. No housekeeping for the period of your stay. Front desk is only available till 10pm daily. And having stayed here for 3 nights, don’t think I’ve seen the same face twice.

As we leave randor suites and osaka today, i will share our experience. Randor suites is pretty much a brand new hotel. Getting here From shin osaka with large bags and as a family its would be advisable to grab a taxi, cost approx 4,000 yen. If connecting via metro, you will need to swap trains and its not that easy if you have lots of bags. We stayed in the family suite room (701). It has 2 x bedrooms, 2x toilets and a wet room with shower/bath, totami area and balcony. The bathtub has jets and is great for kids for bath and bubbles. It also comes with a washing machine, balcony and overall it is a large suite. It also has 2 x large digital led tvs Pros: 20mins walk to dotonbori Metro next door, go out front and turn left Oven, washing machine which was a god send. Cons Water temperature in the shower is low. The temperature was luke warm. After 10pm no reception staff, so if you are arriving late make sure you touch base with hotel as entry is via code keypad. No daily housekeeping. They only service the room at the end but provide towels for daily use. Lighting in rooms, it could do with more lighting but appears to be the design Only 1 mirror and in the bathroom Overall it is a large suite with plenty of room and close to namba. Lots of stores nearby for food etc
