Although I was not staying at the W, the MIXup cafe is a fun spot in the middle of Osaka to have a tea or coffee and their amazing dessert(s). I was looking to try their seasonal dessert, the strawberry mille feuille, although it was already sold out when I arrived. This gives me another reason to return soon! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, I was swiftly shown to my table that I reserved ahead of time (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy), and was walked through the menu and how their orders work. Many teas to choose from, and the cake I chose was plated so beautifully. The chantilly cream with the berries - out of this world! The entire experience was smooth, and I was delighted with the level of service provided. In a way, this is ”normal” and expected for Japan, but I want to highlight that I really enjoyed this visit and look forward to going back.

location is right in front of the subway station and very convenient to go anywhere since there are 2 subway stations near by the hotel. However, if you wanna go to city centre like namba/umeda, u can walk but may still need to take subway. (I choose this hotel after considering with a hotel in Namba since I thought I could find more local restaurants, but actually many places closed early...) Overall service are great, but would be better for trainee to do the check-in process with a senior staff since it took a longer process than normal and made a few mistakes although she was super kind. Staffs are all nice and very helpful! Facilities are so clean and the public bath is also good to try!

We stayed for one night at the St Regis Osaka for my husband’s 60th birthday and were treated like royalty! We were even upgraded to the 2000 sf Royal Suite which was, without a doubt, the most luxurious and beautiful hotel accommodations we have ever had (see pictures!) The concierge was wonderful and helped me plan a small cake, champagne and towel art to be set up in our room for after dinner. My husband loved it! He also enjoyed the Shogun Bloody Mary. We have stayed at many St Regis hotels and he always likes to try the Bloody Mary unique to each location. I think this one is his new favorite! Thank you for a perfect stay and wonderful birthday celebration!!! PS - Also of note, the hotel is a short walk to the upscale shopping area.

The nearest station is Nagahoribashi Station. It is close by walking 5-7. However, the Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street has to walk 15 minutes and you have to walk more than that to take the Midosuji Line. It's fortunate that the Sakaisuji Line passes near the hostel, but if you want to take this, you'd rather look for accommodation near Nipponbashi. It is a new hotel that is okay except for the ambiguous location. I took it as a triple room, but there was no shortcoming in terms of facilities. However, it took a long time to find a body towel in the bathroom because it was in a difficult location. And I needed an additional towel, so I asked for it by phone, but I remember going down to the front desk and saying to get it. I didn't care, but if you're sensitive to this, you might care a little.

I think it was the cheapest category room, but the room was twelve minutes large! The beds are large and comfortable, there are sofas and working tables, separate baths and toilets, and plenty of space to clean up your luggage, clean and comfortable. Not only was coffee and tea well prepared, but water was also placed in a 2 liter PET bottle. The service of the staff was not insufficient, and check-in and check-out were smooth. I was a little worried that there was mold in the groove outside the bathtub, but the overall cleanliness is ◎. I think the view outside the window is the next building, but it was sliding glass, so I can't see the outside, and if I'm in the room during the day and I'm worried about the sun, there's no problem at all. It is a little walk from Shinsaibashi station, but it is close to Nagahoribashi station, so it is highly recommended for those who are OK if they are close to Nagahoribashi station.

The hotel is in a quiet location, but it is about five minutes' walk from Nagahoribashi Subway Station and about eight or nine minutes from Shinsaibashi Subway Station. It is very convenient to walk to the lively Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. If you go out for a late night snack, turn left and there is a ramen restaurant about 200 meters away, which tastes good. The room was very clean and functional, the bath towels were clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom with separate dry and wet areas has a shower and a bathtub, which is very friendly for two people. Toothbrushes, razors, etc. are available at the elevator entrance on the first floor for self-service. The staff speak English and Japanese, are polite and enthusiastic, and make you feel comfortable.

I stayed alone in the comfort double on the 3 floor, but it was wide and easy to spend with shower toilet and air conditioning. The hotel is clean and new, the lobby is nice, but smoking is allowed on some floors and there is an acrid smell of cigarettes, be careful of this who doesn't like it. Breakfast costs 1500 yen per person, there are machines to buy drinks and washing machines for coins on different floors. We were provided with umbrellas for free in rainy weather. The hotel is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood, close to Dotonbori Street.

Stayed two nights. New hotel in great location. We had a huge corner room. Everything modern, worked well with decent WiFi. Standard Japanese hotel 'prefabricated' bathroom. All good. Hotel doesn't offer breakfast but there are plenty of options close by. Hotel's adjacent restaurant does a great value set lunch and is good. As a hotel guest you get a JPY200 discount pretty person which makes it even better value. Ask for the coupon at reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given a parting gift of a couple of beers and cans to see us on our way. Think this was a one off and very thoughtful. Location is a short walk for the night life but the hotel itself is nice and quiet. Recommended unreservedly.

There are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The location is convenient and the staff are polite. We checked in at the hotel before the scheduled time and we were allowed to go to the room earlier. Although there was something wrong with the air conditioner, the staff took care of it quickly. The location of the hotel is very good 👍 just one minute walk from the subway station. There are underground shopping malls in the subway station! There are also many restaurants around the hotel. There are many types of restaurants to choose from. It only takes three minutes to walk to Shinsaibashi shopping street. The rooms are clean and tidy and larger than those in ordinary Japanese hotels. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes it. Shopping people and family outings are also very suitable for choosing this hotel. There is a free washer dryer in the lobby on the first floor, which is very convenient! !

We stayed from 10-17 March 2023 in the Theater room with bunk beds. The baby crib was already in our room when we checked in (great for containing the 1 year old while we unpacked) and the room was clean and spacious which made our stay very comfortable. Location was very close to a subway station and getting to the airport was very straight-forward (just needed to change trains once.) There was enough room for my 1 year old to run around, Family Mart & Lawson within 1 min walking distance, great for getting the next day's breakfast too! On weekdays, there will be a food truck parked outside the hotel selling coffee and crepes/hotdogs. Unfortunately we did not purchase from the food truck though the menu looks enticing. Front desk closes from 10pm-7am, so take note to those who have to check in between those timings. Toiletries are provided at the lobby area and soap in the room's VERY SPACIOUS bathroom. There was also a humidifier in the bedroom so it made my flu more bearable too. We also want to take this time to compliment Ms Nagumi & Mr Devon Wanzu from Front Desk. My husband sustained an eye injury (15 mins after checking in) when our luggage buckle snapped and hit his eye. Ms Nagumi came all the way from the hotel to the eye clinic to do translation (she stayed with us for 3 hours) & Mr Devon Wanzu accompanied my husband to the emergency hospital and actually stayed with him until 2am. We will forever be grateful for both of them and made our very stressful ordeal less so.
