We stayed in a business room in the main palace. The room was wide, clean, light, soundproofed, well furnished and provided with everything: towel, hot coffee machine, tea and tea boiler, chibate, shower and shampoo cream, true phon, frigobar, The bathroom was very large, modern, with double shower and was clean. The very comfortable bed, in the Scandinavian style and also clean, large, with double coats, applies with USB grip, soft lights and faces a large LED TV with Norwegian channels. There was a chair and a desk with a chair, a mirror, and a courtesy light. In the very well furnished area of the restaurant, you could have a buffet breakfast that was excellent, you can find almost everything and the very kind insights; the only sin was that there were too many people approaching food without. The latter were very helpful, even though they were sometimes a little sweet, no one of them spoke Italian but it was not a problem. The location is not very close to the centre, it is a time ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, we were well with the bus that stops right in front, the distances gave us no problem. The price compared to competition was advantageous. I strongly recommend booking standard rooms in dependance 2, on the opposite side. It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel thon.

The room on the 2 nd floor was strangely spacy, unpleasant, not clean. The bathroom also very strange, big but ...never more. The dinner at the upper restaurant had one positive: a nice view at the city.The pork ribbes heavily ”workable” by fork and knife,we had to eat with fingers!? So,the best at the end: the breakfast buffet was rich, the breakfast room quite pleasant. Conclusion: not satisfied and never come again

The staff went above and beyond, I am amazed about their professionalism and their hospitality . It was one of the best hotel and staff that I ever met! The general manager, receptionists, cleaning staffs , everyone was very helpful and friendly . The hotel is super clean, the food is amazing and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you to all the stuff for warm welcome!

In a city with expensive hotels without a good reason, I dared to tried the luxury package of this hostel: Own room with bath, linen (you still need to make the bed yourself) and breakfast. All for a reasonable rate of 850 NOK. The location is nowhere near where you are likely going, but it is possible to walk to/from the metro stop and Storo shopping centre if you're ready for 15 mins walk or so. The hostel is acceptable though totally without charm. The view from the window is over the parking lot but the room and bathroom feel sufficiently clean. Sleep quality is OK, some noise travels in the building and quite a lot of people hanging around. The breakfast is below expectation. Dirty dishes mixed among plates and cutlery make you think the attention to detail might not be there in the food either. You do not take a big breakfast here; just not feeling that hungry. The big plus is the price. But even given that, the experience is so-so.

Wonderful! Award-winning design. Scandinavian design at its best. Biggest bathrooms you have ever seen, wonderful, thoughtful staff and clean, clen, clean. It is off the beaten path - not close to downtown and toursit attractions, but if you want to see part of Oslo most tourists do not see - and you will be rewarded by getting off the beaten path, take the Metro here - it's close by -- and enjoy Oslo at its best.

Visited Oslo for a business meeting and was recommended the Thon Hotel chain Pros + Short walk from Ulleval stadion metro + Nearby amenities, food, etc available + Staff is extra helpful and ensures a comfortable stay. I want to be fair to the hotel but we had one thing after another with this place. Firstly we arrived and couldn't get hold of customer service so we could put our bags in the luggage room. Spent 30 minutes trying to get through and in the end was given the wrong code! Luckily one of the staff helped us out after an hour of waiting around. Then when our room was ready we went up and it had not been cleaned. Old wet towels on the floor and dirty sheets. They found another room, but again we had to call (no front desk) - so another 15 minutes on the phone. The response was ”I don't think we have another room”!!! Finally got a clean room - well relatively clean. Room is okay. Small but nice to have the fridge and kitchenette. Bathroom is ridiculously tiny. Overall not great. it felt like a hostel more than an hotel. Area is not great at night and we came back to a dozen men hanging out the front smoking.
