Like many Ibis, this one is also on the outskirts (and obviously we knew it), in a dark industrial area, but quite quiet and close to the A1/E23 junction (if desired, the Léman Center Crissier is not far away either, which however closes at 7pm :30). From the city center, with afternoon traffic, it takes more than half an hour by car. Parking is quite limited and also requires a fee. The hotel inside is nice and above all clean. The room is small, the third bed has no bedside table or lamp, but for a night or two it is adequate. I confirm the positive impression of cleanliness. The hotel has a bar and a small internal restaurant (the latter closed some days of the week). We took advantage of it for dinner and had a good time. It is small, the dishes available are not many, but well cooked, with courteous and punctual service; not very expensive for Switzerland (albeit on the outskirts). Breakfast is not included in the price (even though no one had checked), but we also took advantage of it. Normal for the type of hotel, with a decent sweet and savory assortment, all self-service. I don't have the details of the rates applied, because no receipt was issued and I thought it would have arrived by e-mail, but oh well: triple room (with A.L.L. member discount), parking and breakfast in total. €256. One aspect, discovered later, but by now we were already in Ouchy and which I was rather disappointed about: the tourist tax should be issued with a pass with free public transport and discounts in the city museums. I didn't know and therefore didn't ask, they immediately asked if we had to pay for parking and if we wanted breakfast, but nothing about the pass! They told us the next morning at the ticket office of the Musée Olympique and I was really disappointed (it affected the rating, which otherwise would have been superior)!
Very Good
