Tower House Guest House

Ideal place to stay in the heart of Oxford. Very clean and”quaint ” couple of rooms. We just stayed for the one night in two rooms , one with an en-suite, but would have been more than happy to stay longer. This is a beautiful building but the low ceilings and narrow stairs might be a problem for some people. The listing on TripAdvisor is a bit misleading as no breakfast is included (we were made aware of this when booking) Would definitely recommend. (Unless your a bit tall and clumsy!!)
St Margaret's Hotel

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, about 20 minutes walk to city centre and you will walk past a lot of magnificent buildings including Keble College. There are only 11 guest rooms and the hotel is really warm and cozy. The room was very clean and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was served in the observatory, which was beautiful and amazing. There were a lot of books around and you could take one with you! The breakfast was mainly continental but there was also some hot food such as scrambled eggs, tomatoes and beans. It’s included in the room price, so very good value for money. On-site free parking as well. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Only one minor issue was that you could hardly adjust the temperature of the shower water (we booked two rooms, one had that issue, the other one was normal) and it became hotter and hotter as time went by.
Cotswold Lodge Hotel

The environment is very good and suitable for family travel. The location is about 28 minutes' walk from the city center in the north of Oxford. There is a bus stop in front of the door, but we did not sit. Breakfast English breakfast, buffet can be ordered, and walk to Oxford University Park the next day Other places are all on foot. The only drawback of the room is not soundproof, and the sound of snoring upstairs can be heard. Can park. Like the study in the public area.
Best Western Plus Oxford Linton Lodge Hotel

I used to stay in a hotel in Oxford. I booked a cheap house yesterday. After checking in, I found that the two of us had never lived in such a small house. Today, we decided to book an expensive house. The room was big enough, with two big beds, which was satisfactory. . I found that there is a yard behind the hotel. The environment is really good, the service is good, and it is hygienic and clean.
The Bocardo Hotel

Very very basic. Very little care taken in general. Room was ok but small and stuffy. Decor run down . Corridors cramped and shabby. Desk was unmanned, had to buzz to get staff over road from their “ sister “ hotel. They seemed disinterested. Little local knowledge. Walls paper thin. When i left in the morning , I walked out into a building site - the whole section , including the front door , had been sectioned off workmen - who shouted at me for not wearing a hard-hat 😂 would have been nice to get a heads up from the hotel this was happening. You get what you pay for , and this was cheap , but I won’t be staying again. Recommend avoiding
The George Street Hotel

Good location but accommodation very disappointing, the so called ”delux double” was tiny with not even enough space to get past the end and side of the bed. Bathroom also tiny! A real shame, pics are very misleading.
