Pak Chong Hotels with Breakfast

Overall, our stay at the Mövenpick Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Khao Yai. It was quite an adventure to drive there, but such a delight when we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated. It felt like we were staying at a castle. While the pool is not huge, it has outdoor and sheltered parts.

Pros: service is definitely top notch and very attentive to each family and consistently asking for feedback… Housekeeping is everyday and the WhatsApp communicate is a 👍 idea especially for tourist. Food is wonderful as they are served hot and minimise wastage, coffee definitely hit the spot! No crowds at all and the place is really pretty sight with a lot of swans and fishes and bicycles to rent ( probably have some baby seats too) Places are a little far away but buggy service was available. Cons: being a tropical hotel definitely will be expecting some insects but definitely not expecting so much mosquitoes from level 1. Daughter was bitten 4 times for a 2 hours nap and at least in total 5 bites from mosquitoes for each members.. we have feedback several times to the staff and they really do something which we appreciate a lot 🙏 but honestly we hope more can be done on the maintaining the hotel given it is a 5 stars hotel We were given a private pool but it is full of bird ****s which we didn’t really expect. Since we r not using the pool and outdoor area, we didn’t feedback. In the end we didn’t use the pool and outdoor area due to the bird ****s and mosquitoes. Location is a little far away from some of the known attractions places.. which I missed out during planning Probably need to be prepared with what nature will bring us..

The hotel lives up to its name indeed. The hosts (couple) can communicate in English, very personable and attentive even when they are busy. Breakfast was simple, very delicious and not too expensive. Location is far from main attractions but very close to Pak Chong Night Market and the famous Banmai Chaynam restaurant (walking distance across the road). The room layout and setting are very nice and cosy, the balcony has table and chairs to enjoy the view of the lush green trees and creek. Highly recommend.

Never did we imagine when we entered the room that we would be greeted by this beautiful sweeping view of Toscana Valley. My wife and me simply lost our breath. Our city view room was a picture of Tuscany itself, with its Mediterranean warm yellows and orange-colored homes and buildings. The room was simply excellent. It was clean, spacious and well-designed with a kitchenette where one could have the hotel’s complimentary coffee or tea. It’s Wifi connectivity was also good. We had our breakfast and dinner during our 3 day-stay at the Town Square because we wanted to. The views from there and the ambience with its cobbled streets were simply superb. We felt we were in Italy. We never thought we could enjoy a hotel so much. We are going back again next year, maybe during the rainy season for another stay.

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was a garden view villa overlooking the mountain and green country side. IT was so quiet and peaceful. A nice change from busy Bangkok. The room was very comfortable and clean. However, the bathroom was very dark even with the blinds open. It needs much better lighting in the bathroom. The towels were a bit old end should be replaced. Meals in the restaurant were okay but the staff seemed not too interested. English was a problem but I am used to that. I will most certainly stay again when I need to chill out and get way from Bangkok. I want to mention Khun Gift at the front reception. She was very pleasant and did an great job to welcome us. She likes her job and is proud to work at The Paz. Thank You Khun Gift.

Customer service was up to par , except for a few staffs who were hard to communicate with because they couldn’t converse in English well! Otherwise very helpful and did their best to help out despite the barriers in between! Excellent place with a perfect mountain view. Enjoyed renting the buggy to ride around with my family! This is a place worth the bucket list!

OK. So let's call it like it is. This hotel is a design classic. And that is why I wanted to stay. I dropped by about 10 years ago, and it was in full swing then and cost about B3,000 a night. Now it is less than half that. Why? Well, the place has seen better days. To say the least. Our rooms were clean and serviceable. The linen was fresh. Breakfast was fresh and started with a salad and fresh fruit, followed by joke, toast and boiled eggs washed down with instant coffee and water. BUT the place needs serious investment. And massive renovation. It is a design icon - think the 2001 space center landing in the Khao Yai national Park and you get the picture. I am concerned that the next time I go to Khao Yai it will be demolished to make ways for one of the many boring new condos that are prevalent in the area.

Staff is friendly. Smooth check in and check out. But toilet needs to clean and change. Limited tv channels. Location near night market and big c. Easy access.

We spent three days with Cedric, her grandbrother and forest guides in family (with our two girls of 12 and 15 years) and this will be one of the strong moments of our one-month trip to Thailand. We will never forget them already humanly. That means gentleness, humor, goodness, passion for their job. The trek in the forest was a very fun time, to watch the few animals that were let see (birds, monkeys, ...), closely following the forest guards, which were examining traces on the ground, trees, ... We had the chance to share some of these moments with another French family with two children who stayed at the same place and with which we immediately hang. We all had a good Thai meal together in a warm, funny atmosphere ...In short, you will have realized it, it is a place we will keep in mind all our life. A place that wants to come back, to drink a little whisky in the evening watching the children enjoy in the pool. The rain prevented us from camping, it was very rare such a rain that didn't stop falling. But it's not serious. We will remember Cedric's mythical phrase about 18: ”I think there's a lighting there, it's going to stop”, or Moine's, the serious look of the one who lived all his life in Thailand and controls the forest:” A bird just passed, it will stop raining”....but of course, it continued raining ...et until 3 a.m. , I still laughed ^^. Thanks all for making us live these moments of pure happiness.

We impressed the warmed and swarming welcome by a nice smile receptionist, she was enthusiastic to take care of our luggage and the strictly Covid checking and rules that we must follow to make us feel safer and really like family. The room was exceptional decorations and met the 5 star standards, particularly a swimming pool, library and king George restaurant was truly British touch. The food was not too bad, pizza four season and a deep fried sea bass was my favorite dish and strongly suggested you must try. The key strength is a large garden, Nicolas church and prammika art gallery, thanks to all staff I will definitely be back again and again
