Location can't be beat; it was very convenient to take the A11 bus from the airport which stops right in front of the hotel. Causeway Bay is just a few minutes away. However, like other reviews have said, the hotel is very dated and tired. My room reeked of cigarette smell and there was never an answer from the front desk or duty manager. When I finally got a hold of someone, they sent a staff member with an aerosol can to spray some floral scented spray but that was not going to do anything but mask the smell. No air purifiers offered and was told the hotel was fully booked so I couldn't change rooms. The room itself was very spacious but I was not confident in the cleanliness of the room due to finding cigarette ash and dust and hair throughout. A housekeeping staff member entered my room within 5 seconds of knocking at 8am on the second morning asking about the TV working even though I had not requested anything. I bet the hotel was very lovely in the 90s but today it is clearly struggling to maintain its grandeur. I think if you are considering this hotel you should manage your expectations and if you don't mind older facilities and limited customer service, it may still be worth the convenience of the location and room size. I probably would not choose to come back without an extensive renovation.

I stayed at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis during my trip to Hong Kong. Although I booked a bit late and the price was a bit high, the 25-square-meter room was still quite good. I could see Victoria Harbour, and the view was decent. Breakfast was also quite rich. The only problem was the air conditioning; it was too noisy, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted once it was on. It got quite cold, but the comforter was very thin. When I turned the AC off, the humidity rose, making the room stuffy, and there was also a sewage smell coming from the bathroom.

The hotel's location is great, very close to the airport. However, due to ongoing construction nearby, you can't walk there. You'll need to take the free shuttle from the hotel entrance, which only takes five minutes. Alternatively, you can use the hotel's connecting corridor to reach the Expo Center station and take a one-stop train to the airport. The hotel service was excellent; they allowed us to check in even before the official check-in time. The hotel is quite large, with rooms lining both sides of the corridors. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a mini-fridge and a safe, so the amenities were complete. Overall, my stay was very pleasant.

My stay at the Regal Hotel exceeded expectations. The room was well-maintained, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. I especially loved the hotel's pool and gym, which offered great views. The breakfast selection was rich, with plenty of Chinese and Western options. The front desk staff could communicate in Mandarin and proactively offered transport advice. Although it's not in the city center, there's a bus terminal right downstairs, making it very convenient to get to the airport and downtown. It's quiet and offers great value for money.

They say hotel rooms in Hong Kong are small, so I specifically booked a 30 sqm room in advance. For just over a thousand RMB, I got a twin room, and it was excellent. The location is quiet with a sea view. It came with a bathtub, a desk, a full set of toiletries, an ironing board, a microwave, a sink, and broadband internet. There's also a gym on the third floor (mostly frequented by foreign guests who like to work out early). Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even store your luggage after check-out with a corresponding tag, so you don't have to worry about losing anything – it's a great service. The MTR, tram (ding-ding), and bus stops are all nearby, and there are places to eat breakfast close by too. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel four times in 2024 and thought it was pretty good back then. Even though the facilities were old (I think it was built in '06, can't quite remember), it offered great value for money and was conveniently located. I saw that it was renovated in 2024 (maybe after we stayed there?), so I decided to book it again. Their slippers are really thin, so we brought our own. I'm not sure if it's because it was a family room, meaning lots of kids, or if the soundproofing is just bad because different room types are on different floors, but the sound insulation was terrible. We constantly heard adults and children talking as they walked past in the hallway, even though our room was quite far from the elevator. When we entered the room, there was a strong musty smell, and there were obvious mold stains along the walls (I thought it was recently renovated? I can't tell where they renovated, it looks just as old as before). There were also a few sunflower seed shells and kernels left on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. There was no bottled water either (which isn't a big deal, as we usually buy our own water anyway). The exhaust fan was incredibly loud, and there was a constant dripping sound from the pipes. We could clearly hear people showering and flushing toilets upstairs. It was so noisy past 11 PM that our kids couldn't sleep, and then around 6 AM, people started getting ready, waking us up again. No need for an alarm clock! I don't remember it being this noisy on my previous stays. However, the staff supervising the lobby were very proactive and friendly. When there was a long queue, they guided us to the self-service machines to check in.

The room was decent, though a bit small. Getting around was really convenient, with the MTR and bus stops right nearby, and K11 mall isn't far either. The pier is also close by, where you can catch the Star Ferry. There are two routes: one to Central, where you can ride the observation wheel for three loops at a great value of HKD 20. The other route goes to Wan Chai, which has a beautiful light show, but it requires a ticket. For groups of three or more, it's HKD 185 per person.

The room was spacious, and the two 1.5-meter beds were very comfortable. The only issue was that I booked two nights on separate reservations. On the first day, when I checked in, they said they'd link both nights and activate the room key. However, on the second day, the key didn't work, and I couldn't get in. Even with my child, the staff insisted I go to the front desk to reactivate the card before they would open the door for us. It was clearly the hotel's mistake for not linking my two separate bookings for both days. It was such a hassle, running back and forth. The upside is that the hotel is directly connected to the airport, which is very convenient. The shuttle bus staff downstairs were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful with information on how to get around. A big thank you to those two. Thumbs up!

Facilities: The room was really spacious, which I loved the most! The drinking water is bottled, they provide 4 bottles, and they replenish them once you've finished. There wasn't a power adapter, but I brought my own. Besides not having an automatic toilet, everything else was perfect. Cleanliness: The bathroom was also very large. Perhaps it's a new hotel, but it was quite clean. Environment: The hotel is right across the street from Wan Chai Station Exit D – very close! The first time was a bit confusing to navigate, but there are very detailed route guides on Xiaohongshu, and after staying for 2 days, I became very familiar with the area, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. You can also take a bus from the airport, which involves walking an extra 200-300 meters, but it's quite convenient! Plus, there are tons of food options nearby, and the mall downstairs also has many places to eat. Service: During check-in, I casually asked if an upgrade was possible, and the lady at the front desk upgraded me to a city-view room, which was slightly larger. My luggage was also delivered to the room, which was excellent 👍. I'm very satisfied and will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

Love everything about this hotel! The location is very nice, even it's not in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui but close enough to walk, ~10mins for walking to Tsim Sha Tsui. K11 Art mall is in the middle on the way from hotel to Tsim Sha Tsui so we stopped by for popular tea shops, CHAGEE and Heytea, everyday during our stay in this hotel. We booked premier room to enjoy the sea view and it's worth it! The hotel is located on the Mody road which have a beautiful Christmas decorations that can be seen from our hotel room, Avenue of Stars is also across the road. Room is true to pictures, all amenities are provided everyday, all staffs we met are easy approach and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who's looking for luxury hotel in a budget!
