The first room I got was unpleasant. The hallway at the floor and inside the room was had a cigarette smokes. I was stay up for a whole day. Inside the room was shocked me! A lot of mirrors surrounding inside the room. On the next day I spoke with front desk and they changed the room to me as what I booked originally. Better view and cleanliness.
More options and convenience to take the public transits. More selections for the restaurants and shops.

This is a must-stay hotel if you're coming to the Hong Kong Coliseum for a match or concert. It's right opposite the Coliseum, and the balcony faces Victoria Harbour – so convenient! The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't huge, but they're clean and quiet, which is a big plus. The pillows were a little uncomfortable, but everything else was great. The power outlets even have USB and Type-C ports, so you can charge directly. The lobby had a strong Christmas atmosphere, and we happened to be there on a lucky day, with several couples holding their weddings there.

Before checking in, I proactively received complete check-in information, including how to take the free hotel shuttle and check-in details. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very professional, providing accurate information and helpful suggestions. The check-in process was smooth, and other staff members I encountered were also very friendly, offering assistance and travel advice. The hotel's environment, room hygiene, overall facilities, free shuttle, and even its location are all exceptional, far surpassing hotels in the city center. The hotel's free shuttle is also incredibly punctual and convenient. If you're coming to Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal or the airport, this hotel is the best choice.

It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, about 20 minutes. It's located in a residential area, so there's a nice local vibe with plenty of affordable dining options, and it's generally quiet. However, the hotel itself is very old with outdated facilities. The room had a terrible smell when I walked in. The air conditioning hummed so loudly at night that I couldn't sleep until I turned it off.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely have to stay near Sha Tin.

This is my second stay at this hotel. The last time was during the National Day holiday seven years ago. Back then, I stayed in a sea-view room for two nights. I showed the guy at the front desk who checked me in a picture from that trip, and he upgraded me to a sea-view suite! What a pleasant surprise! I was planning to go out to see the night view, but decided to just enjoy it from the hotel instead, and planned to eat breakfast out, but decided to have it at the hotel! 😄
The 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour at night! The room also has a kitchenette, which is a nice touch. Even though Typhoon Matmo hit with a Signal 8 warning, it didn't dampen my mood at all. 😁
Enough talk, just look at the pictures!

The hotel's location is super convenient, with shuttle buses to Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui, and the A31 airport bus stops directly downstairs. The lobby is on the 3rd floor, and shopping is easy right below, even with a Jusco supermarket. The dim sum at the restaurant on the 2nd floor is quite good, and you see a lot of locals there.

Easy access to the Happy Valley Tram stop. Easy check in and out. Room was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free shuttle available to and from certain areas. Very tiny for a family of 3. Room was on the 3rd floor next to a 24-hour gym. Nothing to see outside of the window except a concrete wall. Equipped with hot water kettle, toiletries. Access to baggage storage if needed. Breakfast available but we opted not to purchase.

The room is compact, but offers distant sea views. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served over long periods, and while the variety isn't huge, everything tastes great. The location is super convenient; it's within walking distance to the Science Museum, Space Museum, Victoria Harbour, and West Kowloon Station. The hotel also provides free luggage storage, which is handy if you want to start your city walk early. Overall, the service is good, though it can get a bit hectic during peak times.

I was surprised to find such a great hotel right inside the airport! It's just a three-minute walk to the floor, and the room was incredibly spacious. The best part is there was absolutely no noise from planes taking off or landing, which far exceeded my expectations. This is definitely my top choice for staying near the airport.

The room is spacious, the location is convenient, and the staff are excellent. You can enjoy the Victoria Harbour night view right outside the window at night – it's fantastic!
Service: Attentive. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage at the front desk, and they'll put it directly into your room. When you return to the hotel after your day out, you just pick up your room key at the front desk.
Facilities: New. The room comes with a single sofa bed.
Cleanliness: Spotless.

MMeiyouqianbaodeyuganI visit Hong Kong frequently, and this hotel has offered the best experience by far. The staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were incredibly polite and could all communicate in Mandarin. They were also genuinely warm and welcoming. For breakfast, there was a great variety of set menus, and everything was delicious!
EE0821****The room, while a bit dated in decor, was very clean. The hotel's location is excellent, with metro, bus, and tram stops all nearby. The surrounding commercial area is huge, making shopping and dining very convenient. It's a shame the bathtub wasn't usable though.
MM54914****Excellent service, spacious rooms, well-equipped facilities, comfortable, bright and airy. It's close to the subway station, with a mall right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. I'd definitely stay here again. The price is reasonable too.
TtriishlouiseVery nice hotel. The only issue we had was that when we first arrived, the receptionist took quite a long time to process our check-in. They could definitely improve their service in that area.
We also got a room upgrade for a lower price (plus taxes), which was great. We enjoyed our stay even though it was short (from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) since we had to transfer to another hotel afterward.

MMuzipangIsland Shangri-La, Hong Kong | A Heartwarming Five-Star Experience Enhanced by Mountain View Rooms!
My recent stay at the newly renovated Mountain View Room at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, truly elevated my travel experience! The hotel's service is a benchmark in the industry; the staff were incredibly courteous throughout, from guiding me during check-in to promptly and professionally responding to all my requests. Their attentiveness was exceptional.
The thoughtful personal touches truly touched my heart! After finding out it was my birthday upon check-in, I received an exquisite birthday cake and fresh, plump welcome fruits. Their genuine care was evident in every detail. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding and bathroom were spotless with no hidden corners missed, and even the smallest details were meticulously cared for. The newly designed mountain view room offers a superb vista, with expansive windows framing the breathtaking views of Victoria Peak. The decor, a blend of European elegance and traditional Oriental style, is sophisticated and comfortable. Coupled with its excellent location, seamlessly connected to Admiralty Station, it’s an absolute delight for both leisure and short getaways. Definitely worth choosing again!

AAichihanbaodexiaochongziService: Huge thanks to the front desk lady for upgrading our room, it was a wonderful surprise, truly grateful! 🥹
Facilities: You can tell the room facilities are a bit dated, but everything still works great. Even the air conditioning is Daikin! 👍🏻
Environment: The overall look is a bit old, but you can see it's been meticulously maintained over the years, which I really appreciate!
Value for money: Excellent! The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to Tsuen Wan MTR station every 15 minutes, which is super convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time!
__M1808187****We stayed at this hotel for two nights after spending two consecutive days at Disneyland. The hotel has a fantastic adventure theme; the elevator is even designed like a hot air balloon basket! Our room was spacious and offered a sea view. We had breakfast at the cafe, and while the food was decent, it was also one of the more affordable options available there.
