Holiday Inn Express & Suites Palm Desert - Millennium

Book this hotel for my boyfriend and his mother for her birthday. Got two rooms other than the hotel being very expensive. Hotel was 250 US dollars a night with tax discounted. My boyfriend said breakfast was good and he was very pleased with the appearance of the hotel he said everything looked new and fresh and he was very happy that I booked this hotel for him. His mother also enjoyed watching the trains go by. They did not partake of the pool but would have had they not been spending just one day there. His friend stated another hotel and they were very unhappy and they paid more money than he did.. he said he would stay there again.

This hotel is very new, the hardware is good, but the rooms are small. There is Wal-Mart on the side, full-time. Two major supermarkets. There are many small restaurants such as Pizza Hut, etc. It is perfect to rest and replenish supplies during the trip. One of the disadvantages of the room is to save energy, his lights will be turned off after a while. Plus the lighting in the room itself is not very good. Just a little bit uncomfortable. The water pressure in the other room was very low and the bath was very uncomfortable. The breakfast at this hotel is very good. Even during the epidemic. The types of non-contact food provided are much more than that of ordinary hotels.

We reserved this hotel for a one night stay. I reached out in advance to ask the hotel for a quiet room as I had to leave at 7 AM for a client meeting AND for extra blankets. When I arrived, no blankets and the room next door? Not quiet. At all. I had to go to the front desk to ask for blankets and they said they could only give me one (?) This is a $300 a night hotel. I put the request in days prior - they should have been in the room when I arrived. Also, as others have mentioned, the walls are paper thin. The hotel did not appear to be fully booked so I cannot understand why they would book rooms all on top of each other when people have specifically stated that they have to get up early for work. So, I was kept up all night by the neighbors and the heat fan kept clicking loudly all night. I did use the fitness center and for reasons unknown, the hotel set the temperature to 70 degrees (I don't keep my house in New England that hot in the winter). With the five people in there in the morning, it was very sauna like. Also one of the three treadmills was not functional. The bathroom was also so poorly lit I had to use my flashlight app to apply makeup in the morning. As for the pros, I thought the bedding was soft but $300 a night is crazy to pay for this. There seem to be other hotels in the area that I would absolutely look at before returning here.

In Las Vegas, many hotels pay a resort fee. Best Western Hotel does not require a resort fee and breakfast. Breakfast is an American breakfast and you can make waffles yourself. Drive to Las Vegas Boulevard in less than ten minutes. Very good value for money.

We are here right now and I am disguested and disappointed with this hotel. We are in room 233 and when we got into the room, the first thing we noticed was that the carpet floor was soppy wet and then when we walked from the wet carpet onto the tile, it left dirty footprints because the carpet is so filthy. I will not let my children walk around without shoes. The tile is not even clean and is sticky when you walk across it. I'd hoped the balcony would make up for it but it is the worst view I have ever seen, looking into a run down utility area and what looks like an electrical substation over the fence, complete with rotting random boards that look like they've been laying there for years. After we got in the bed, the fridge started making this horrendous noise. Reservation for 3 people, but only 2 towels for the bath. They don't give you those little shampoo bottles, and instead have shampoo dispensers stuck to the shower wall, and of course ours is not only caked about with old shampoo that wasn't cleaned off, but after I cleaned it off, it was totally clogged, so I didn't even get to wash my hair good. Lots of things about the room look dated, like the door handles that have little tinges of rust, and the fire/sprinkler on the bathroom wall that is rusting through the thick layers of paint. There were many things that weren't clean to standard, with crumbs and hairs in the corners. I am sad we wasted a day here, and even though we have reservations for another day, I'm considering abandoning the 2nd day reservation to stay elsewhere. We have checked the coffee 3 times since getting here, and not once was the coffee in the lobby hot. I am not usually a complainer, and this is only about the 2nd hotel review I've ever left.

Had a one night stay to visit family that were in town. The hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. We had to request extra linens after discovering there was enough for one person (three in the room). The morning breakfast was well stocked. I thought there would be an issue with noise coming from the gas station. This was the total opposite.
