Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel

Champs Elysées Paris
I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge

Please be aware when booking this property! Coming from someone that is in the Hospitality industry! This hotel has so much potential but its killing it with its service and facilities. Starting from the location, the property its located in a quiet are and super easy access with 2 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe and this might be the best part about the hotel! Don't bother booking the stay with breakfast there are plenty of restaurants offering brunch for cheaper and better quality, there were never eggs, sausages and so on everything was always empty and it took 20 minutes to replace everything. Even one day when we were having breakfast we had to leave because of an issue with the alarm it was impossible to stay in the restaurant (which is the reception) even in the room it was impossible to stay. Due to the location the hotel is very small for the amount of guests they are receiving so be aware that the check-in and check-out might have a huge line because its so small the are that people don't have space with all the bags. The rooms are very small and when we first arrived we had to request to change it, it was impossible to breath they were nice to change to the street side since we were facing on the previous room a white dirty wall. The new room was more spacious and you could see the top of the Eiffel Tower. The service is terrible! You have 2 people which the name I can't remember that work in the reception that are very helpful and nice but the rest its terrible! Housekeeping is super loud during the morning! The people serving during breakfast are constantly eating, drinking coffee and making loud sounds with cutlery while we are eating! The chef takes time to cook it's a mess! The property has so much potential that is sad to see that they don't use their potential. I must say it is disappointing to pay $620 for 3 nights and have to go through this...The pool is paid so you are not using it unless you pay.

This hotel is really not good! The lobby and rooms and elevator are amazingly small! There are 6 floors in total, but the elevator can only reach the 5th floor! We are a little broken in our hearts on a business trip with 4 large suitcases! The elevator barely squeezed 2 people. If you bring your luggage, you can only pass by one! The breakfast is in the basement and the elevator is out of reach! The breakfast is simple and single! My husband brought instant noodles to eat with me, but he also paid for breakfast! 15 euros per person! An extra bed is impossible, the room is too small to turn around, and the suitcase cannot be opened easily! The biggest disadvantage is that it is expensive, more than 2,000 nights, I can't enjoy the experience at the corresponding price!

Having the accommodation at Stella Etoile hotel is worthy for Paris. The hotel is clean, well kept, the team in charge with taking care about the rooms is excellent. On top of that, there are couple of options in terms of having a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner very close. Your choice cannot be missed, all tastes are available. Being close to the Triumph Arch is offering you the possibility to travel very easy all over Paris attractions, close or not to the hotel. The fact that the hotel is providing only breakfast is finally an advantage, is optional.

Very nice little boutique hotel right around the corner from the Arc de Triomph. Had a delicious breakfast with excellent coffee drinks made to order. Also had wine and other drinks available in the evening for a charge which was nice. The lobby is cute and was a nice place to sip wine and complimentary snacks were brought out as well. Owners and staff very friendly and kind. Beds were comfortable in the room and showers were good and hot. Nicely decorated. Really enjoyed staying there and would highly recommend!

In general my stay at the hotel was good, with the exception that one day, the room cleaning was not done. I came back at the hotel at 1:30pm to continue my meetings from there and the room was not done. I hade to work until 6pm, so when I was ready to go out I have asked in reception to send somebody to clean, but the answer was that it was not possible because at that time there were no cleaning services. In a 4 star hotel, I cannot understand how come you leave a room without cleaning.
