Pattaya Modus Beachfront Resort

Naklua Pattaya|0.4km from The Sanctuary of Truth
I rented an apartment from Airbnb. The hotel rooms are basically the same as the apartment I rented. Going through the entry door in to a small area of the corridoor where the kitchenette is. This leads in to the lounge area which in turn leads to the bedroom and on to the bathroom. All well layed out and comfortable. Plenty of hot water from the shower and the air con, in the lounge and the bedroom , work well. Good quality towels .Sliding doors seperate the lounge/bedroom/bathroom. Sliding doors to the terrace which, in the two rear tower blocks are large enough for sun loungers, though the terraces do not get the sun, which means the apartments stay fairly cool even when the outside temperature is very high. Lifts take guests to the lower level for the beach, pools and beach restaurant and bar. The beach restaurant food is expensive and not very good. The kitchen is in the main hotel so the food is usually verging on cold by the time it gets to the restaurant. The pool areas are kept clean but the beach area in front of the resort is not cleaned properly, if at all. There are sun loungers available provided free for Modus guests. Beach/pool towels are available free from a kiosk by one of the three pools. (Plus a childrens pool.) At present no other eating areas or bars are open. There is a lot of work planned for the resort, especially around the pool and beach areas so at some stage these areas will be noisy and dirty. (Best to check). The town area starts about 10 to 15 minute walk. Two 7/11's, Family Mart and Big C mart in this area. Good restaurant, with good prices, follow the main road. Just on from there are 2 laundrettes. There are also 2 laundrys run by locals. ( one just before before the town). Plenty of massage 'parlours', they all charge the same prices. Many bars and restaurants are still closed but there are still quite a few to choose from. Follow the raod through the town to the main road in to Na Klua proper where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and a mall ( as everywhere the mall has expensive stores, and food areas. Check around for food there are some good, reasonable price eating places.) Close to the resort there is a shack/stall to buy fruit, water, drinks and grilled items. Turn right instead of left at the top of the road 100 metres from the resort and follow the track which leads to another beach which has restaurant, sun loungers. Also the closest 7/11 mart. Taxis are expensive. From the airport to the resort is minimum 1,800baht. (one way). Return journey 1,000baht. For shortish journeys from or to the resort use a motorbike taxi. Very reasonable prices. This beach is not very long and neither is the one that fronts the Modus Resort. Also, a few metres from the shore the sand turns to mud.Not too much of a problem as drops quite deep quite quickly.

Tsix5 Hotel

Naklua Pattaya|0.57km from The Sanctuary of Truth
Rest in this hotel since January 26, 2020. The road took about 1.5 hours from the airport. They arrived in the morning but settled on the 6th floor. Windows on the road. The bed for the child 4 years in advance did not book and paid, on the spot asked (for a long time did not understand what we wanted from them), but eventually brought a type of layout with the board, on the board a fine mattress, when the payment for it was not asked. No one speaks English on the respiratory. In the room: There was only a shower gel and a shampoo, with soap tension (made in a few days, 1 piece for 2 weeks), 2 hand towels and 2 showers (no child), 2 bottles of water brought every day, coffee soluble and sugar (no tea), chairs not. They knew in advance that there was nothing to dry the underwear, so they brought with them a rope. In the shower room and the toilet behind the glass doors, and the bathroom and the sink behind a low intersection through the bed. No cabinet, only a pipe with 6 hangers. Russian channels on TV have not found, USB outputs are not available. The air conditioner blows correctly, but loudly and in the direction of the bed. WiFi catches well, at the airport we have issued a sim card, one day it works, then it needs to be replenished (100 batts per week of communication and Internet). Breakfasts are the same every day: egg, soup national (on order), rice soup (with chicken fried or with fish, 1 time with shrimp), fish in the clark with vegetables, rice of cooked, sausages, chicken chicken, potato fried, cakes, fruits (arbuz, ananas, papaya), yoghurt, chips, milk cold, tea, coffee, juice, vegetables (salad, tomatoes). Dinner often at the Zign Hotel (see price 900 baht on 3-th, delicious), dinner in a Chinese restaurant near the hotel (1000-1200 baht on 3-th), a couple of times went to the fish market (not far away, you can walk). Beach: The Garden Sea View (2 days was water muted, then clean transparent), 7 min walking, can be called a free shuttle. But the residents of this hotel have been occupied with cheeslongs since 5am, laying things. In this area all hotels belong to one host, so you can go to any one. Towels can also not be dragged, but take a deposit key from the room. The pool is excellent at the Zign Hotel, no people, lying free, you can play ball, darts, badminton. Also went to the military beach with clean turquoise water (taxi 1500 baths, with a group of 300 baths/people, to drive about 40 minutes). On this beach only Russians, the Thais with families can come on the weekend. Also swim on ferry to uninhabited beach, as there are many Chinese on Ko Lane. The cleaning in the hotel is no. Cleanliness is not waiting. It was stressed only that we watched the maid not put a bite glass or a broken towel. For that when you leave a fine! But before leaving took a spoon of tea and on the resepshen said that we lost it (. In general the hotel corresponds to 3*, but we realized that you can add 4-5 thousand rubles and book Zign, there is better breakfast, the area is larger, far from the road and noise. To the main road with a tuck-tuck walking 10 min. (they will be transported to Terminal 21 for 10 batts). There is also a free shuttle that has taken away

Good location, has a private beach, all necessary items in the room. But overall, the hotel is old, but the room is clean, the breakfast is not that delicious, and there is a lot of trash on the beach, and there are a lot of children. More suitable for families than couples.

Having stayed here multiple times, we booked this hotel for a long weekend away. Once again, the staff were attentive, room was clean and swimming pool area is nice and chilled. However, on one of the nights we were woken up at 2am by the room next door. A guy had clearly come to Pattaya for the obvious reasons a lot of men do and decided to use this hotel as his base. The women proceeded to sob/scream for an hour, with the man constantly telling here to be quiet and console her. This obviously raised alarm bells, so I rang down to reception asking them to check. They said they would. 20 minutes went by and nothing had changed. Very angrily myself and my partner both walked down to reception from the 4th floor and insisted someone came up immediately. They said they would get security to check. This once again did not happen, but they decided it would be a good idea to call our room telephone to ask why we were complaining. This noise then continued for another 1h30mins, until the male finally fell asleep. This was all due to the connecting door that is in each of the rooms, which leads you directly into the room next door. It is obviously locked, however, as this shows, nose travels very easily that you may as well be in the same room. We spoke to reception in the morning and the only thing they could do for us was give us a later check-out which was pointless as we had to leave anyway.

For me it became the most wonderful hotel in Pattaya. There was a week on Sand boxing. Silence, calm, full relaxation. Staff is very friendly, ready to provide services at first request. Cleaning every day. The meal was on the menu, breakfast was brought to the room. The amount of breakfast was such, 100 enough for lunch and dinner. If anything needs to be heated, the recipe was warmed in the microwave without problems. Yes - a pandemic, all around it was closed, only Femeli Mart and 7/11 worked. Open cafe or restaurant nearby was not, but we were absolutely not tense. To Nakula went on foot, somewhere further - ordered a taxi. No problems. But around it was a sense of a comfortable uninhabited island. The beach in the Garden Sia Vio is nearby, empty, cozy and with beautiful water and view. We were in Tai a month after that hotel, but the days spent here were the best. I really want to go back to this paradise.

The Garden Resort is on Soi Naklua 12. Naklua is old Pattaya and very different from the bars and shows part of town. That said a baht bus can take to the entertainment centre within 15 minutes, if you feel the need. This part of town is like being in the country side. The Garden is off the main Soi (side street/alley) and it is incredibly peaceful. Within 5 Minutes walk you can find at least a dozen bars and restaurants all are very much cheaper than in downtown Pattaya. The Garden is made up of a number of rooms and rooms with a living room. It is comfortable, has free WiFi and a charming pool area. It is not a swanky joint, but is simple, friendly and safe. The rates are incredibly cheap and so if you need a simple, honest, comfy place to stay while in Pattaya, this really is the place to go. I just love this place and the area, and promise you you will not be disappointed you stayed here.

The thing I love most about this little hotel is the reception hall. A costant breeze from the sea, always make sure the room is fresh, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are a little austere, but I was looking for something simple, so it was welcomed. Towels, paper towels and even a rug towel for when you get out of shower are included, so it’s nice. On the downside I must note that my room on the base floor, was suffering from a very unpleasant sewer smell when turning on the bathroom light, which also activates the air fan, which I suspect is the culprit for sucking the bad small from the bathroom’s holes (shower and sink I noticed it’s where the smell comes from). The air conditioning filter also felt a bit old and lumpy, filling the room with a not so pleasant moisty smelling. The materass was on the hard side, the pillow on the shallow one, but I had a good sleep after all. During my stay the pool was closed due to pandemic rules they told me. 300 bath for key deposit were asked at my check-in. Staff is nice and welcoming, attentive to the guest needs. All in all a fair experience for the price.

Good atmosphere accommodation designed like a villa in the Maldives. When you come out of the room, you can go into the water. The villa itself is located on the water. There is a clear glass in the room that can see the water under the room as well. The service of the staff is good, the service is good, in terms of breakfast, it is adequate service, it is considered very worth the price.
