"Overall I had a good stay at Mood Hotel Pattaya. The best part is definitely the location—just a short walk to the beach and close to attractions. Easy access to convenience stores, food, and transportation. The hotel decoration looks nice too with all the smiley faces. My room was a bit small but fine for one person. The only downsides were the view, which faced an inside courtyard and felt a bit dark, and some ant issues. I left a couple of pastries out, and they were completely covered by ants in no time! Just a tip: keep your food in the fridge to avoid that!"

"Excellent stayed in Akara hotel, location near T21, a lot of restaurants and 7-11nearby. The poolin rooftop , although is small, but the environment and view is excellent. Breakfast is the best in Pattay , a lot of choice. Staffs all helpful and friendly."

"This place truly has its own unique charm. It’s beautiful, and the Zen-inspired design of the building instantly soothes your mind. The rooms are spacious, the TV works flawlessly, and the bed is simply heavenly. The surroundings, the breakfast, and above all, the atmosphere are absolutely outstanding. The only drawback — which in many ways can also be a huge advantage — is that it’s located quite far from the city center. But that distance brings peace and quiet, and around the area you’ll find charming little shops, street food stalls, and a glimpse into real everyday life in Thailand, away from the noise and crowds of Pattaya. So yes, I absolutely recommend this place — especially for anyone willing to trade nightlife for tranquility and authenticity."

"This is for Jomtien Wing, which is a bit further from Jomtien Beach. The lobby looks new renovated and remains in the ”Main Wing”. When entering everything looks quite new, modern and clean. After check-in we stayed in a room in the Jomtien Wing. This part of the hotel looks older, also the rooms inside don t match the lobby. However, I m intereted in a room in the Main Building. There are two pools. One is on floor 3 and compared to the other small. The gym remains on the same floor. Furthermore, the big pool is in front of the hotel and has an amazing few on Jomtien Beach and the ocean. In itself it offers many possibilities for recreation. It s really a wonderful area. Lastly, I want to praise the breakfast. It is inexpensive and offers many choices, be it Thai food, Western food, sweet, fruit, etc. Shout out to test the hotels omelett. These workers deserve a raise no matter what they earn."

"The hotel's exterior looked great, and our check-in started pleasantly with a complimentary upgrade to a mid-floor sea view room. The view was lovely. However, after we dropped off our luggage and went out for dinner, the situation changed dramatically when we returned at night. The kitchenette area was crawling with tiny white ants. Having traveled to Southeast Asia many times, I know it's common for ants to appear if you're eating biscuits, bread, or sweet fruits indoors. But we had just checked in and hadn't eaten anything. More alarmingly, there were ants on top of my main backpack and on the dressing table. When I went to the front desk to request a room change, the staff member was very impatient. They seemed to think that since we'd received a room upgrade, we shouldn't be complaining. We were grateful for the upgrade, but if you upgrade us to a sea-view ant room, then my gratitude disappears. Ultimately, we had to switch back to the lower-floor room we originally booked, which wasted a lot of time. We didn't get to sleep until 3:30 AM. It was a very bad experience. Regardless of whether it was a high or low floor, the windows were drafty. Even though Thailand doesn't have winter, such strong drafts could easily make you sick."

"Absolutely delighted with our stay! I initially wanted to book for the second to last week of August, but it was fully booked. I had to push my travel dates back by a week, and I'm so glad I did – it certainly didn't disappoint! This hotel is perfect for families with kids who just want to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities. We had originally planned a sea excursion, but the children loved the hotel so much that we ended up spending almost all our time playing here instead. The breakfast spread was extensive and varied, and we loved the option of dining al fresco at tables on the lawn. Our twin room was very spacious and comfortable for our family of three. The only minor downside was being on a lower floor (6th floor); a higher floor would have been even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends."

"The room was clean and well-laid out, equipped with a decent-sized fridge and microwave. Across the street is a popular steakhouse, offering great value for money. Just a short walk further is Pattaya's largest 7-Eleven, and it's not far from the beach either. The ladies at the front desk and by the entrance speak Chinese, and their service was exceptional. Breakfast was exquisite and plentiful. The only downside is that rooms close to the road can be very noisy, with motorbikes speeding by late at night. I barely slept the first night, but they moved me to a room at the back on the second day, which greatly improved the experience. The hotel also has a swimming pool, gym, and sauna. For just over 200 baht, staying in a place like this offers excellent value."

Location Jomtien Thani Hotel is situated on Jomtien Beach, in the southern part of Pattaya, offering a much quieter atmosphere compared to the bustling Walking Street and bar areas. In the mornings, the beachfront promenade comes alive with tourists speed-walking, strolling, and jogging, creating a vibrant and energetic seaside scene. The beach is a mere three-minute walk from the hotel entrance. The surrounding area boasts numerous massage parlors, restaurants, and bars, with a 7-Eleven also conveniently close by, making it an extremely convenient location. A taxi to Walking Street costs approximately 60 THB, and to the northernmost Sanctuary of Truth, it's about 100 THB. ### 2. Room Facilities The room facilities are quite new, and indeed, the entire hotel feels recently updated; thankfully, there's no lingering smell of formaldehyde from renovations. The bed was very clean and comfortable, ensuring sound sleep during my 5-day stay. I booked a pool-view room, which offered a great vantage point, allowing me to often hear the joyful sounds of children playing in the pool from my balcony. The bathroom was spacious enough to easily arrange toiletries. A lovely blue woven beach bag is thoughtfully provided for guests to use. The complimentary tea was excellent, Taining brand, and very pleasant to drink. ### 3. Common Areas The main common area is the swimming pool, located on the fourth floor, featuring both a deep end and a shallow children's area. You can conveniently order food and drinks by the poolside, and the loungers were notably clean and comfortable. ### 4. Biggest Highlights The hotel shines with its new facilities, a well-designed room layout (which meant ample space for luggage without feeling cramped), and a suitably sized bathroom, all contributing to excellent value for money. The breakfast was superb, a truly exceptional offering, especially considering the hotel's price range of around 300-400 [currency, likely THB] per night. ### 5. Breakfast Review For coffee lovers, there are two machines: one for traditional coffee and another for various specialty milk teas. The fresh fruit was exceptionally sweet, and the pastry selection varied daily. There was a good variety of delicious meat dishes, with new options introduced every day. The restaurant is quite spacious, so you won't have to wait for a table. ### 6. Summary I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends, and it's definitely a place I would choose again if I revisit the area. An excellent value-for-money hotel."
