Scottish Inn and Suites Perry

This is a very old motel that has seen much better days. Building needs a complete rebuild. Furniture is old and needs replacement. Walls have paint issues, and the bathroom is a toilet and a tub that is very old, and not kept up. Found hair strands on the bed sheet and evidence of roach activity in the room. Continental breakfast is bare minimum at best, dry cereal, gas station style packaged pastry, coffee, and O.J. is it. Go somewhere else!

Last night was my first night. The owner, Bob, was sooo nice when I checked in. Very flexible! This is a family owned property and I appreciate it way my than chain properties. If you are looking for something that is impersonal, stay at the chains. Here, I feel like part of the family, one night...... Yes, the reviews are mostly correct but for the price, you can't go wrong. NO COACH ROACHES!!!!! Extended stay America (Airport road in Columbus, Ga) had roaches, loud parties, drug perifnalia on the breezeway and doors always slamming. Also, most delivery stores won't deliver there. Plus, the new management treats you like you don't matter. You are an income, not a guest that is paying to be there.... This place is a little antiquated and could use some updating, but safe and clean. I smoke and go outside without anyone approaching for sex or *****!!!! I have stayed in places that were way more expensive and didn't feel this safe. I may not have a full kitchen but the frig is bigger than most. Bob even gave me his cell number so I can call anytime. BTW, my cat feels safe too. Don't pass this place up!
