Excellent location. Very easy to walk anywhere. A bit of a small room but good for 1 or 2 people. Room is not sound proof at all, heard next door chit chatting late at night.

Facilities: The facilities are good, but some needs such as refrigerators and microwave ovens need to be called separately, but the hotel will respond in a timely manner. Hygiene: Hygiene is very good, clean and tidy! Environment: The geographical location is extremely superior, and it is very convenient to do everything. Ordering Chinese food takeaway is very close to Chinatown, and the food is always hot when it is delivered.

The location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!! I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns. My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).

#positive #I was happy with the Mosquito Control Measures, Corridor Soundproofing, Nearby Activities, Toiletries, Nearby Shops, Room Layout; The clerk here is very friendly. If I want to wash clothes, she will take me there and teach me how to do it. I booked a room for four people, and there was only one other person there that day, so it was very quiet and comfortable. In addition, you need to swipe your card to enter and exit, and the location is also very quiet. I need to remind everyone that hotels in the United States do not bring toiletries. If you don’t bring them, just go to the nearby Chinatown to buy them. You can also buy locks there, so you can feel free to lock your things in the cabinet and go out to play with various things.

For a 5 star hotel, I am very disappointed with this hotel. First the valet parking guy doesn’t tell you what the parking options are and just drive your car away which defaults to valet parking, when we could’ve done self parking. Checking in was a long time. The room was standard, the king size bed was waited as the mattress size doesn’t match the bed frame, it’s about 6 inches coming outside of the frame. The pool was like a zoo full of people and kids, no chair to sit or put your stuff on, towels ran out quickly, the floor in the pool are was dirty and muddy, no one cleans or maintains it. When you need something and call front desk, it’s either busy or they put you on hold. The standard just doesn’t match five star criteria.

The location of the hotel is great, very close to the city hall and within walking distance to most attractions. It's close to the subway station and the city center of Philadelphia is beautiful and clean. It was raining heavily when we arrived at the hotel and we couldn't see the scenery outside the window. But the arranged room is quite nice and quiet. The bath water is also very large.

Very nice hotel. Looks like it was recently completely done over. Very nice. Room was super clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included. It was served by staff because of covid restrictions. It was your average hotel fair. Waffles, eggs, biscuit, gravy, cereal, yogurt, etc. The hotel is along a main road which could be a bit noisy. Rooms on the back would probably be quieter. Easy to get to from the south. A little more challenging from the north because it is on one side of a divided roadway. If we were ever in the area again, I would certainly stay here.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you have a car and don’t want to worry about parking. Parking does cost $14 a day however. It’s conveniently located next to a Target and their is a supermarket about a 5 min drive away. The gym facilities were very nice. If you want to use the pool you have to reserve an hour time slot. There’s no complimentary breakfast but there were granola bars to grab as snacks. Overall I enjoyed my stay

I understand that the property had been renovated. The room looked okay, I found dried crusty blood stains on the bedsheets. The room walls are thin, needless to say everyone screaming at each other in the room next door (probably high on **** and alcohol) at 1 am in the morning is my nightly entertainment? Only 2 sets of towels and this new eco-friendly policy means you don't get any new towels unless you ask and then nobody shows up. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken, I had to flush the toilet a couple of times for it to work. The shower is nice and spacious. The cleaning crew must have been understaffed, because there was mold in between the shower tiles. There is no functioning ventilation in the bathroom. The air conditioning, when and if it works, is super loud. Upon arrival it was set to 72, I tried changing it to 68, but it jumped back to 72. TV was working, unlike the remote, some keys were just dead. The room smelled musty. No microwave, the fridge was not cooling either. I thought maybe the ice machine on the 5th floor could cool my water down a little. Come to find out that the ice machine wasn't working and from the looks of it, it never has! Also, the ice machine room looks like World War 2 has left its mark. The ceiling is about to fall down and it's dirty. The hallway has nice carpet but again, the cleaning crew might not be fully staffed and dirty fries were left all over the hallway (5th floor). I see that the hotel has a non-smoking policy. This may apparently only apply to cigarettes. Floor 5 and 12 reek of ********* so badly, it creeps into the rooms and makes a good night sleep close to impossible. It's not a whiff you get from someone who has recently smoked walking by, it comes from the rooms. It is utterly disgusting and Hilton should be ashamed. The staff at the front desk is jaded and rude, I'd be too if I had to deal with what's coming through that hotel. Breakfast doesn't open until 7am which didn't work for us because we came for a business trip and had to leave the hotel by 7am. Also, breakfast is not included in the $700 for 2 nights. Instead you choose from 3 or 4 overpriced omelets from a menu. $40 for 2 mini omelets and a cup of coffee. It didn't taste too bad but that price is not justified. Also, the breakfast room is way too dark. I could barely see the food in front of me. Parking is an insult to be honest. Philly is not a safe city and for $700 for 2 nights I would have expected parking at the hotel or at least covered parking that is being monitored at no extra charge. Instead, you can drive 1500 yards down the road to an open parking lot that will cost you $13 a night ($15 if you use a valet). It is not monitored, no security and any random person can walk in there and wreak havoc. Shameful. Overall, not a Hilton experience, for the price I paid I would have expected service which I didn't get. Never again and I am hoping other Hilton properties aren't so shameful.

KKate’s AdventuresOur experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing. We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful. We stayed in “The Monarch” room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well. While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I highly recommend booking your stay here if you are looking for an amazing boutique hotel experience.

GGuest UserWe’re so glad we found a comfortable and friendly hotel in Philly when visiting our kids who attend a nearby college. Our last stay was fantastic, thanks to hotel manager Nicole and her excellent team, who really made us feel at home. Our room was perfect and it was so nice that they were able to accommodate our request for a certain floor and view. We were even welcomed back with a handwritten note in our room. We are most likely forgetting some of the wonderful team members here, but Montrose, Alesha, Sheyenne, and Daoud were really helpful and very friendly at the front desk and concierge desk. Also great were Jackie, Teresa, and others in the club lounge. Service in the club lounge was excellent, even when things got busy, and the food was good, too, with a number of options to choose from. Between the friendly staff, personal attention, and proximity to both university city and center city, we know we will be back!

GGuest UserVisit Philadelphia every year and always would stay at Ritz Carlton. This weekend was booked so decided to try the Sofitel and so glad I did. This is our new home when we come to Philly for sports and entertainment. The staff and service is top notch. Ivan the concierge was absolutely wonderful in helping me with surprises for my son for his 21st birthday. He arranged and beautiful balloon bouquet as well as a bottle of chilled champagne and a very nice note. He also was so helpful with restaurant and bar selections and was a wealth of helpful knowledge. The front desk personnel were very pleasant and the rooms and amenities were all great (including the downstairs bar/restaurant). Last but not least the location near Rittenhouse square was very safe and a wonderful area for restaurants, shopping and bars just a short walk away. We look forward to our next trip to Philly and Ivan and the staff I know will be there with open arms. Thank you again for your help.

GGuest UserI really wanted to give this five stars, but, I can't do it due to some issues. Let’s start with what’s good/great: Loction. This location is close to lots of restaurants, shopping, the metro, and a nice walk to lots of the attractions. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the A/C worked great. The housekeeping staff was super nice and got us extra towels when we needed them. Free breakfast was available every day. The not so great: The front desk staff was not so hospitable. There was only two working elevators out of three, so, there was always a long wait to get where you needed to go. We were told not to use the stairs. The breakfast was nice, but, I don’t think they had enough staff because items were always out and it was a wait to get the coffee, eggs, oatmeal refilled. The slow, individual pancake maker was a nice feature but there was always a long line. On our first day we asked for almond milk and they were very generous and brought out a half gallon which was placed in the refrigerator with the yogurt for everyone to use. On day 3 it ran out and when asked if we could have another one they said they didn’t have any. Obviously a lot of people were using the almond milk since it ran out in three days - two in my party were using it for coffee only. The pool area is a nice retreat, I wish the pool had stairs to wade in instead of ladders.

GGuest UserWe chose this hotel because it offered breakfast and the others in the area did not. I am so glad we went with Holiday Inn Exprs Penns Landing! There breakfast was hot and wonderful. Best breakfast in a hotel hands down! It was walking distance to most all historical sites. I was worrying because it seemed on the map a bit farther out than other options and I am totally out of shape. I am probably in the heaviest ten percent of the population (morbidly obese). It was a very easy walk for me to Betsy Ross House, Ben Franklin Gravesite, Elfareth Alley, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Liberty Visitor Center and great local dining. The location, room and breakfast was great. Clean hotel in very safe area. I felt very safe even at night. I will say the interstate noise is incredibly loud at night. If you are a light sleeper go elsewhere. However, we are a family if heavy sleepers and I was the only one who noticed the interstate noise but not enough to keep me awake. Loved this place

MMagdalena LillaBooked this for a friend. I highly appreciate the great communication with the manager. We initially booked for 2 nights, but because my friend lost his flight connection, only managed to arrive for the second night. We were given a refund for the night that my friend did not spend there because of the flight change. From what my friend said, I understood that he enjoyed his stay at Goodseed Suites. He mentioned that it is very clean and comfortable. So we're very happy and would definitely book again and we highly recommend Goodseed Suites in Philadelphia.

The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection.
