Stayed one night while in town for a concert at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion and sightseeing in Philly. This is a newish hotel on the waterfront with great views of the Philadelphia skyline and Ben Franklin Bridge. Room was clean and comfortable. Tried to eat at the restaurant in the lobby but they were unprepared for the volume of guests so we left after it was clear staff were overwhelmed and did not notice arriving guests. It’s a very short and easy drive to the historic area and easy and safe 15 minute walk to the concert venue. There is not adequate space to park to check in when there are more than 2 guests arriving at a time - this is an issue as access to the parking lot requires a room key. They charge for parking - pretty routine for city hotels, but this is not in the city, so they could do away with it IMO. Overall a nice stay with just a couple of inconveniences.

#positive #I was happy with the Mosquito Control Measures, Corridor Soundproofing, Nearby Activities, Toiletries, Nearby Shops, Room Layout; The clerk here is very friendly. If I want to wash clothes, she will take me there and teach me how to do it. I booked a room for four people, and there was only one other person there that day, so it was very quiet and comfortable. In addition, you need to swipe your card to enter and exit, and the location is also very quiet.
I need to remind everyone that hotels in the United States do not bring toiletries. If you don’t bring them, just go to the nearby Chinatown to buy them. You can also buy locks there, so you can feel free to lock your things in the cabinet and go out to play with various things.

Facilities: The facilities are good, but some needs such as refrigerators and microwave ovens need to be called separately, but the hotel will respond in a timely manner.
Hygiene: Hygiene is very good, clean and tidy!
Environment: The geographical location is extremely superior, and it is very convenient to do everything. Ordering Chinese food takeaway is very close to Chinatown, and the food is always hot when it is delivered.

Excellent location. Very easy to walk anywhere. A bit of a small room but good for 1 or 2 people. Room is not sound proof at all, heard next door chit chatting late at night.

Everything about my brief stay at this hotel in Philadelphia was fantastic. The room was perfect - quiet, comfortable, and clean - and the location terrific. Best of all was all the kind and accommodating assistance I received from the three young women at the reception desk, Sam, Shai, and Dayana. As a seasoned traveler, it's always nice to have such courteous, helpful people available at most anytime; indeed they also seemed to embody the congenial tone of the entire delightful hotel. A great visit.

I understand that the property had been renovated. The room looked okay, I found dried crusty blood stains on the bedsheets. The room walls are thin, needless to say everyone screaming at each other in the room next door (probably high on **** and alcohol) at 1 am in the morning is my nightly entertainment? Only 2 sets of towels and this new eco-friendly policy means you don't get any new towels unless you ask and then nobody shows up. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken, I had to flush the toilet a couple of times for it to work. The shower is nice and spacious. The cleaning crew must have been understaffed, because there was mold in between the shower tiles. There is no functioning ventilation in the bathroom. The air conditioning, when and if it works, is super loud. Upon arrival it was set to 72, I tried changing it to 68, but it jumped back to 72. TV was working, unlike the remote, some keys were just dead. The room smelled musty. No microwave, the fridge was not cooling either. I thought maybe the ice machine on the 5th floor could cool my water down a little. Come to find out that the ice machine wasn't working and from the looks of it, it never has! Also, the ice machine room looks like World War 2 has left its mark. The ceiling is about to fall down and it's dirty. The hallway has nice carpet but again, the cleaning crew might not be fully staffed and dirty fries were left all over the hallway (5th floor). I see that the hotel has a non-smoking policy. This may apparently only apply to cigarettes. Floor 5 and 12 reek of ********* so badly, it creeps into the rooms and makes a good night sleep close to impossible. It's not a whiff you get from someone who has recently smoked walking by, it comes from the rooms. It is utterly disgusting and Hilton should be ashamed. The staff at the front desk is jaded and rude, I'd be too if I had to deal with what's coming through that hotel. Breakfast doesn't open until 7am which didn't work for us because we came for a business trip and had to leave the hotel by 7am. Also, breakfast is not included in the $700 for 2 nights. Instead you choose from 3 or 4 overpriced omelets from a menu. $40 for 2 mini omelets and a cup of coffee. It didn't taste too bad but that price is not justified. Also, the breakfast room is way too dark. I could barely see the food in front of me. Parking is an insult to be honest. Philly is not a safe city and for $700 for 2 nights I would have expected parking at the hotel or at least covered parking that is being monitored at no extra charge. Instead, you can drive 1500 yards down the road to an open parking lot that will cost you $13 a night ($15 if you use a valet). It is not monitored, no security and any random person can walk in there and wreak havoc. Shameful. Overall, not a Hilton experience, for the price I paid I would have expected service which I didn't get. Never again and I am hoping other Hilton properties aren't so shameful.

The sound insulation was bad, can heard the water pipe, the people in the hallway, and the outside cars. If you are a quite sleeper, don't choice here. Overall the value of the cost is okay. The parking charge is not that reasonable.

Facilities: Airport shuttle has a flight from the hotel to the airport in half an hour, very convenient, the driver is very warm.
Hygienic: Some curtains are not very clean, the toilet will have a taste of decoration, but overall it is satisfactory.
Service: There are effervescent films at the front desk, the best in the whole venue!
Environment: The room is much larger than I thought, with a small refrigerator.
Very Good

KKate’s AdventuresOur experience at The Franklin on Rittenhouse was absolutely amazing.
We were greeted by John and another sweet woman at the front desk, and they were so kind and helpful.
We stayed in “The Monarch” room on the first floor. It is a very comfortable and romantic room. It was also extremely clean and updated! I loved the rainfall style shower as well.
While booking the room, I mentioned that we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday, and the hotel we so kind to write her a card and left chocolates on the bed.
It was such a thoughtful gesture.
I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. I highly recommend booking your stay here if you are looking for an amazing boutique hotel experience.
GGuest UserWe’re so glad we found a comfortable and friendly hotel in Philly when visiting our kids who attend a nearby college. Our last stay was fantastic, thanks to hotel manager Nicole and her excellent team, who really made us feel at home. Our room was perfect and it was so nice that they were able to accommodate our request for a certain floor and view. We were even welcomed back with a handwritten note in our room. We are most likely forgetting some of the wonderful team members here, but Montrose, Alesha, Sheyenne, and Daoud were really helpful and very friendly at the front desk and concierge desk. Also great were Jackie, Teresa, and others in the club lounge. Service in the club lounge was excellent, even when things got busy, and the food was good, too, with a number of options to choose from. Between the friendly staff, personal attention, and proximity to both university city and center city, we know we will be back!
GGuest UserVisit Philadelphia every year and always would stay at Ritz Carlton. This weekend was booked so decided to try the Sofitel and so glad I did. This is our new home when we come to Philly for sports and entertainment. The staff and service is top notch. Ivan the concierge was absolutely wonderful in helping me with surprises for my son for his 21st birthday. He arranged and beautiful balloon bouquet as well as a bottle of chilled champagne and a very nice note. He also was so helpful with restaurant and bar selections and was a wealth of helpful knowledge. The front desk personnel were very pleasant and the rooms and amenities were all great (including the downstairs bar/restaurant). Last but not least the location near Rittenhouse square was very safe and a wonderful area for restaurants, shopping and bars just a short walk away. We look forward to our next trip to Philly and Ivan and the staff I know will be there with open arms. Thank you again for your help.
GGuest UserThe location is awesome. Easy to get to and from the major attraction in the city. i was there for the Penn Relays and it was a great, easy scenic 1.5 mile walk to and from each day. Got my exercise while seeing the city from on foot. Best of all on my walks this was how i decided where I would eat breakfast and dinner. So I was able to try something different each day. i was a little tempted to try Ruth Chris but I did not :(. The train ride to and from the airport was quick, easy directions to follow and though not the most scenic ride on the train, seeing the steel and stuff looks industrial America. I likes!!
I did try one of the take out Chinese food spots ..oh man.. that was colorful to say the least...Bring Your Own Bag!! What an experience that was.. I guess its a city thing. The room was nice. I got real comfy real fast. The bed was super comfy and the view reminded me of my college days in NY. Just watching cars go by and at night with the lights reflecting off the windows creating various patterns.
My only challenge was the TV... can you believe after all that good stuff my issue was the TV!? Just the hardest thing to navigate. maybe its cause I dont watch enough TV. :).
GGuest UserWe chose this hotel because it offered breakfast and the others in the area did not. I am so glad we went with Holiday Inn Exprs Penns Landing! There breakfast was hot and wonderful. Best breakfast in a hotel hands down! It was walking distance to most all historical sites. I was worrying because it seemed on the map a bit farther out than other options and I am totally out of shape. I am probably in the heaviest ten percent of the population (morbidly obese). It was a very easy walk for me to Betsy Ross House, Ben Franklin Gravesite, Elfareth Alley, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Liberty Visitor Center and great local dining. The location, room and breakfast was great. Clean hotel in very safe area. I felt very safe even at night. I will say the interstate noise is incredibly loud at night. If you are a light sleeper go elsewhere. However, we are a family if heavy sleepers and I was the only one who noticed the interstate noise but not enough to keep me awake. Loved this place
TTyrone WrayI simply cannot say enough about this center city hotel. From the first line knowledgeable, friendly receptionist(s) on both shifts; actually EVERY staff member was friendly (I really wish I'd written down names); to the cleanliness of all aspects of the hotel to include the rooms and especially the bathroom area with the DOVE soap/shampoo/body wash, good water pressure, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave. And last but certainly not least.......the breakfast..... from the 1 minute pancake maker to hot everything else including fat biscuits, to the cold breakfast beverage(s) machine and good coffee. In/out Parking co-located with the hotel. My second year in a row. I'm impressed. and we'll be back. Keep up the good work.
GGuest UserBen and Sam were amazing! Thanks for a great stay. Room was clean. Bed was very comfy. Housekeeping staff were very rude. Only negative during our stay. We paid for late checkout but they were very aggressive at our door all morning so don’t pay for late checkout if you don’t absolutely have to.
MMagdalena LillaBooked this for a friend. I highly appreciate the great communication with the manager. We initially booked for 2 nights, but because my friend lost his flight connection, only managed to arrive for the second night. We were given a refund for the night that my friend did not spend there because of the flight change.
From what my friend said, I understood that he enjoyed his stay at Goodseed Suites. He mentioned that it is very clean and comfortable.
So we're very happy and would definitely book again and we highly recommend Goodseed Suites in Philadelphia.
DDominick79Huanpeng Hotel is basically the more reliable American Express hotel. Breakfast is the most convenient place. It is more suitable for the habits of Chinese people. The hotel is located near the airport. It is more convenient and operates in accordance with the standard mode. Parking is also attractive. point
马马The road in front of the hotel has a main road and a secondary road with a separation belt in the middle. Baidu navigation has always been prompted to sit on the road, the result has been walking on the left main road, eyes can not enter the hotel, have to turn back. The room was clean and the service was good. No coffee pot, no hot water, instant noodles can't be soaked. The left hand of the hotel is not far from the intersection. There is a Chinese-opened restaurant. It is good to pay for food by self-service.
