Hotels Near Làng Trầm Hương Đảo Yến in Phu Quoc Island

Very chill experience with a very extensive breakfast. Loved the big swimming pool and proximity to the beach. The gym is ac-cool and has quite some machines, also includes a daily class, towels and cooled water There was not that much near the resort, most of the buildings around it are empty, a bit like a ghost town, requiring a cab or motorcycle for almost every trip. Downsides: - no vegan options for lunch or dinner - very expensive drinks at the bar - every warm dish during breakfast either has meat or fish in it, imo very big mismatch with the resort saying everywhere that it is sustainable - the included airport drop off is only useable within certain times, which is stated no where. Our plane left early and they could not do anything for us. Requiring an expensive taxi - the vegetarian breakfastbox only contained fruit and dry bread with butter (didn't feel 5 star resort)

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was delightful, and the aesthetic appeal of the hotel created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, making check-in a breeze and ensuring I felt welcome throughout my stay. While the location is slightly removed from the bustling city center, the stunning views and peaceful environment more than made up for it. I truly enjoyed the serenity and natural beauty surrounding the hotel. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impeccable, which added to my overall comfort. Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable and interesting, leaving me with wonderful memories. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant getaway.

The hotel is very reasonably priced, the room is tiny but generally has everything you need, including a beautiful view from the window and a breakfast that takes you to another hotel at the other end of the village (and yet free drinks are not included in the breakfast, meaning you have to pay even for a cup of coffee: don't forget to take your wallet to breakfast!). However, there is a serious problem that would make me not stay at this hotel again. The walls are made as if they were made of paper. If a neighbour puts on music at 1am, you will hear it as if it were in your room. I had to knock on the next door to ask neighbors to stop the music. They woke me up! Also, there is essentially no ”privacy” as the doors to the room have a gap at the bottom as thick as a finger. At night you can see the light from the corridor, and in general anyone can look into the room through such a gap. Not to mention the problems with soundproofing.

Well they certainly made us two feel like princesses at the Dusit Princess! A wow location. Sunset omg! Sometimes took awhile to bring the drinks out - and the mojito could have packed a bit more of a punch. But these are small gripes, and these two Dusit Princesses will definitely be back for more!!

We stayed only 1 night. But I have to give AQUASUN hotel in Phu Quoc a 5 star rating across the board: 5 star location - centre of Duong Dong and close to the beach, 5 star for staff friendliness and helpfulness, 5 star for cleanliness, 5 star for cozy room, 5 star for excellent view of the rooftop swimming pool, and 5 star for breakfast buffet & à la carte dining. We fully enjoyed our stay!

We booked for 6 weeks; the Lahana thought we'd got our booking incorrect! However, we were shown to our bungalow on top of hill overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens. Our room was large and spacious, good size bathroom with bath tub and outside shower. As we spend 3 months in the Far East we tend not travel light. The wardrobe was not large enough for all our cloths, but, we used wicker baskets for extra storage.[might be worth management take on board?] Breakfast was a delight of the day. Various fruits, eggs, meats and salads also Vietnamese favourites. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Viet, Kim,Nico, I could name them all. The whole LAHANA team! Would we return? YES. My only reservation is Phu Quoc has only really just started as a tourist trap. I t needs to clean up its beaches and surrounding roads and lanes! I'm sure it will! Reminded me of Phuket 20 years ago! Now spotless. Thank you Lahana for a wonderful holiday!

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. Love this hotel! I definitely will book again for my future trip! This hotel even send me birthday cake and birthday card, so warm ❤️ and there is complimentary airport transfer service, which save your taxi fares. and shutter bus for certain attraction point like safari, vinwonders, grand world.. all these super near. The hotel has their own beach and swimming pool, super nice, service super good! Highly recommended! Price is reasonable!! Grand world view omg, love it!

I booked Villa for 6 people, the villa is so big, have private pool and can stay at least 15 people. The activities in water world are so attractive and fair price compared to other beach

My partner got hurts when he was playing the water sport on the beach of Melia hotel. The owner of the water sports did not inform in advance that there were wires underneath the hovercraft.As a result, the child fell and went to the emergency rescue, causing the companion's leg to bleed from multiple places. We went to the hospital urgently to stop the bleeding but because I was in a rush, I didn’t bring any cash. After the examination at the hospital, the hospital needs to pay a deposit in advance before providing treatment. Water sports owners refuse to admit their facilities pose serious safety risks. But the responsibility is obvious. Because of the language barrier, I had to return to our hotel to ask for help and coordination.Emergency time LE helped us solve this incident.
