Good clean hotel, local to walking road lively night activities but just removed enough to be quiet at night. Rooms are basic but very clean with breakfast selection cooked to order.

These people work tirelessly to present the best side of what is an old hotel and they mostly succeed. I wonder when the electrician is coming to put the main light switch near the door. It's always a treasure hunt in the dark to find it. Best pub bar in phuket. Breakfast 3/10.

Food at restaurants need to improve, other than that was ok..

Great location. Near Patong beach. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, convenience stores and shopping malls.

The location is excellent. It is very close to Bangla Rd but in a quiet alley. The swimming pool is nice, but the rooms are very old.

Great Hotel Highly recommended for everything, and also very close to Bangla Road, the pulsating heart of Patong.

The location is good, but the hotel is so old that the condition of the room is the same as a few decades ago. It was a budget hotel with a swimming pool and breakfast, so it was good.

I stayed 10 night at the expat The rooms are neat and tidy The onsite restaurant and bar are great, and all the staff were fantastic The expat is a great location 5 minute walk to Bangla road and a 10 minute walk to the beach, the hotel pool is also great

Beware of the woman at the reception who is very rude. I parked my scooter near the hotel, there was no information that this place belonged to the hotel. After an hour I came back and had a chain on the wheel, and the receptionist started yelling at me and told me to pay 100 lashes or she wouldn't give me the scooter back. You can see their attitude towards tourists - they just want to pay for everything and treat you like an ATM.

The staff is very polite and friendly. Good breakfast, very close to patong beach. Clean room. And bathroom

Stayed at the expat recently and can't say a bad word about it. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of patong. Close enough to the nightlife that you can walk to it but is quiet so you can't hear any noise. The room met all our needs. The on site restaurant offers a good range of food and good prices. The on site bar offers a really good night out as there is always a mixture of guests and regulars to help you enjoy this. All staff were friendly and helpful. We were well looked after throughout our stay. I can't praise them enough. I do plan to return for a stay at the expat and recommend the hotel for anyone to stay in as there were solo travellers, couples and families there during my stay.

Really a very beautiful stay. They maintain everything. So clean area. Very peaceful. Homely atmosphere. Awesome. I really love my stay in every way.
