If you planning to ride on those “giant” slide, I recommend you not! It causes my back to be itchy and is this acceptable? When was the last you guy sanitise the tube? Is it still up to the standard set and how will you ensure the ridding the tube will not cause any repercussion to its user?

MaiKhao Dream Villas might not be the first choice for Phuket go-ers who want the party scene, but if you want to be somewhere where you can get some real me-time without the noise of the city, you will be hard pressed to find a better place in Phuket. The villas sit in grounds which are immaculately maintained, with beautiful greenery all around. Service is excellent. The crown jewel here is the beach, which is less than 60 seconds away from our villa. MK beach takes one’s breath away, so clean and so so quiet. Had a lovely massage too. Resort provides you with bicycles which you can use to explore the area (we cycled to nearby restaurant Yenjai everyday). Each villa is humungous with a 1.6m pool, a jacuzzi and a small plunge pool. You have no reason to leave really.

Since we got off the plane after 12 o'clock in the evening, we hailed a car outside the airport to go to the hotel, which cost 300 baht. The driver kept circling around for more than half an hour before we got to the hotel (not even ten minutes). After arriving at the store, I was still a little scared 😂 A young boy at the front desk was very polite and he could go to the room in just a few minutes. Overall, it was OK. The biggest demerit was the water pressure problem. The water was so small and It gets cold and hot for a while, and taking a shower is like going back and forth to hell and back to earth 😂😂 Because I arrived late and left early, I didn’t take photos of the room. This breakfast place is still great.

Only negative… the robes in my guestroom had obviously not been washed after they had obviously been used by the previous occupants in my room.

The room was clean and tidy, with a slight musty smell, which is understandable. After all, it is a house on the seaside. The reception desk was very small. I clicked the navigation button to get there. It was 10 o'clock in the evening and I couldn't recognize it at all. I drove out and called again. It took some effort to find it.

I recently stayed here for 4 days. From the beginning to end it was a very comfortable and relaxed place to spend a few days, the owner Dirk and his wife Aom were very welcoming and nothing was to much for them. The resort itself is a hidden gem, the bungalows have a bedroom a large bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen and some of the bungalows have a small private garden at the back with sun loungers and a table and chairs to sit and relax, they also have a table and chairs at the front balcony as you enter. There is a beautiful garden at the back with a private pool and an area to sit and relax . The resort itself is about 100m from the main road so there is no noise at all, and its about a 10 minute walk from the beach. There are plenty of small shops and restaurants close by that cater for most tastes and are all walking distance. The Airport is about a 15 min drive. I would stay here again, if your looking for a relaxed and quiet place to stay i highly recommend this place.

We stayed at the Perennial Resort for two nights before flying back to Bangkok to start our journey home. We remembered from a previous trip that Nai Yang Beach is a short walk down the road. This beach is incredible! The sand is white, the water is cool and clear and the snorkelling is amazing! We loved our stay at the resort because of the proximity to the beach, but also because it was a very comfortable place to stay. We were in a villa behind the pool. It was lovely. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with a small verandah where we sat and had our coffee in the morning. We also enjoyed lying on the loungers by the pool in the afternoon. The pool and villas are surrounded by beautiful gardens. The hotel also has a restaurant called Sea Calm. We had two breakfasts and two lunches there and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel and if we are flying out of Phuket again in the future, we will certainly book at the Perennial again!

We took this hotel/gesthouse as a night before the departure of a flight for its location just in front of Phuket International Airport. The family that carry it is absolutely charming. The cleanest room we have had for a long time. Although it is 5 real minutes walking from the airport we took without charge to the same.
