Family-friendly Hotels in Pingtung

The room is simple and clean. The bathtub is very shallow and there is no soaking. There are also children's picture books in the room. They are very attentive. But I want a sea view room. After asking, I learned that there are no rooms facing the sea in the hotel. What a pity. The hotel is very big. I walk from the lobby every day. We went to the seaside swimming pool and had breakfast. It was really far away, but overall it was pretty good.

Stayed here because we were participating in the Ironman 70.3 Kenting. Perfect for the race as the start, transition and finish are all within the hotel. We got a room on the first floor which proved to be the most ideal as it is on the same level as breakfast, the race expo as well as the finish area. However if you prefer a quiet room, then ask for a different floor. Rooms are very large and amenities are generously provided. Despite the size of the property, staff are efficient and very helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend. We used the bus transportation provided by the hotel to get from Kaohsiung to Kenting. It was well organised and a comfortable ride. The hotel facilities were clean, except that the swimming pool was under construction during our visit. They gave us a small voucher for compensation. The hotel breakfast was lovely with a good variety of options to choose from. Highly recommend this for a stay in Kenting!

The sound insulation needs to be improved. You can hear the moving chairs in the next room. You can also hear people passing by in the corridor outside the door and talking. The space design in the room is too outdated and weird. The sink is right next to the bed, which is really confusing... There is only a movable mirror between the toilet and the room. If you want a large size, it is difficult to go to the toilet safely, especially for another companion. When eating out in the room.

We stayed at Amanda for 2 nights with one of our friend couple. First night, we stayed at the ”Rose City 2 Bedroom Suite” which was exactly like its description - 2 bedroom and one bathroom with two doors which was great. We really enjoyed the first night. The location is great - very close to the night market and all our outdoor activities. Second night, we reserved the ”Ancient Jade Villa” with a private swimming pool. We have traveled enough to know that sometimes pictures posted are outdated so we called the hotel in advance to make sure that it met our needs BEFORE booking. We needed two bedrooms and wanted to book the villa with the private giant swimming pool as it was portrayed on trip.com. We were told that it has two bedrooms - which unfortunately was not true. The swimming pool was not like the one posted on trip.com (they have updated the pictures now) When we told the staff that this was not the room we booked, they said that it was ”renovated” and that the pool was exactly like the picture. The picture of the pool was an almost full size pool that was rectangle and the room we received was a triangular jacuzzi sized pool in the corner (?????) *** I think the most unfortunate part of this incident was that the staffs were treating us as if we are stupid and kept insisting that the room we received was exactly the room on the picture.. (The two pool pictures are below) Thankfully, I'm guessing it is the manager but he handled the situation quite professionally and was able to accomodate us into two separate hotel rooms quite quickly. A frustrating situation was resolved very quickly with care and we really appreciated it. One other thing I'd like to mention is the breakfast restaurant staff's behaviours. - Some of the food were out so we asked if it would be refilled, one of the waitress replied to us that it will be. After 20 minutes of waiting later, we asked another waiter and he said it will NOT be refilled. But about 3 minutes later, it was refilled??? - We asked for some ice, and the waitress said ”Actually, you cannot actually ask for ice” ????? Some other minor issues were: - unstable electricity in the rooms (the electricity plugs kept turning off for some reason) - the lighting in the rooms were way too dark considering that the rooms didn't get too much natural light (to the point where putting on makeup was almost impossible) - the air condition system was unstable (it was either too cold or too hot) - the door handles were either broken or the screws were coming off and there were too many light switches that did not work or were confusing(?)

Super awesome 😊 Parking and shuttle service The swimming pool is 5 stars, the room looks out to the sea, very relaxing There is also afternoon tea with a 270-degree sea view So the facilities are very good and the staff are very friendly Only the breakfast options are not many and the taste is average I will go again next time, very satisfied👍🏻

We had a great stay here. We were right across from the beach( no swimming beach but was great for kids to play in the sand). Staff were friendly. We were just a minute’s walk from the night market, great for the kids to go play some games and get food easily. Breakfast shop was also just up the street from the hotel. Parking is also offered by the hotel which is located behind the hotel. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying here again.

The Cp value is very high, it is worth going again Located next to the town, quiet in the middle of noisy, shopping and eating late night is very convenient The amusement facilities are a little less, and the outdoor area should be opened later in the evening.

The hotel has excellent service. The parking lot is at the back door, and you can get a discount on the parking fee. The front door is right on Kenting Street. The swimming pool is very good. There are lifeguards, so you can swim with peace of mind. The whole hotel has a resort style. The breakfast is divided, so it won't be a problem. Crowded with people 🤩

It's rare to find a comfortable and quiet place in Kenting~ Although I arrived at night and couldn't participate in the hotel's daytime activities, I will come back next time~ It's a great place.
