A lovely hotel in a quiet setting. Bar service was a bit slow but available most times during the day. Food service was ok. Breakfast was good… wide variety… although fruit could have been fresher, ( apple was brown). Dinner at night was ok. Entertainer was good, enjoyed his music and cheerfulness. Difficult to get a taxi on the day we left and was pouring with rain. Staff were really helpful and took us to the train for which we were really grateful! I suggest booking a cab the day before. Our room was comfortable and a good size. However the bathroom window curtains need attention. A shower curtain pinned up with press studs wasn’t appropriate for security and privacy! We would stay again.

Great stopping off point on a Scottish road trip. Good location and our room had a super view of rolling hills. The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places but we’re told a refurb is planned for the off-season. But - the restaurant was absolutely superb. Some of the best Indian food we’ve had anywhere. Lovely, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious - with some different Tiffin small plates to start. It certainly lives up to the hype and deserving of its awards; it was also good to see it was well patronised by locals. The Gin bar had a great selection of gin and whisky. Breakfast was traditional Scottish fare and was equally well presented and very tasty. Recommended if you’re passing through.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

lovely stay at the Old Manse. On arrival, it was obvious that everything was at the guests' pace, fluid and flexible. The welcome was warm, the rooms spotless (the Ministers sudy, loved the room names), and the gardens amazing. A point worthy of consideration. We checked with the hotel in advance about the sample menu.” Advised that the chef was on holiday and the menu being market led could change and could not be confirmed. This sounded fair enough. On arrival, the menu hadn't changed other than a set three course meal at £75pp. However, this was also flexible. We did, however, find this to be a bit misleading. The service at dinner was first class. The presentation was perfect. The fresh produce was lovely but a bit overwhelmed by all the additional flavours. We were fortunate enough to meet several staff and family members (including Seumas and Seoras). All of them were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and welcome. This boutique hotel doesn't give you olives with your drinks. There is no air conditioning, safe in the room, turn down service or fridge to cool your snacks. This boutique hotel provides true Scottish hospitality at its absolute best. 'S math a rinn thu.

A fantastic two days away made special by the absolutely wonderful staff from check in, to the spa to bar and wait staff. We had a wonderful first wedding anniversary meal at the Estate Room. The meal was excellent but what made our night was being served by Zeni/Fernando. He made great recommendations for both food and wine. The goats cheese starter was absolutely amazing. The venison loin was wonderfully cooked. Views of course are excellent; from the loch to schiehallion.

It is worthy of being rated as ”the best B&B”. We drove there from Inverness in the evening, and the owner would ask us our arrival time through Ctrip. When we arrived, the owner was already waiting. The little house is very cute and has a small parking lot that can accommodate 8 cars. Everything was well organized, the room was large and very clean. There is a breakfast list for the room in the evening. You need to mark what you want to eat and put it on the table at the door. There is also a form to check what time you would like to have breakfast. The owner will collect it in the evening and prepare breakfast according to two forms the next day. On the last day of September, I actually turned on the heating. I thought it was too exaggerated, but I slept until midnight and realized that the heating is really necessary 😂 When the store was serving breakfast in the morning, they would chat for a while, ask us where we were going, and then thoughtfully tell us how to get there. You can leave your car and luggage here first and walk to Blair Atholl Distillery, which is about one kilometer away. The scenery on the way is beautiful. Great room& excellent service

GGuest UserBooked a 2 night B&B stay in Superior King Room for birthday treat, £369. I enquired about disabled parking, was advised this was available but on a 1st come terms. Arrived and negotiated the car around a small badly laid out car park, with no designated disabled spaces. Had to leave and find on street parking. Enquired about this on arrival at reception, before reception could even answer me a nippy sweetie woman appeared like Mr Ben, to tell 'disabled customers don't like the car park as its on a slope and they can't safely get into their wheelchairs! Will the days of thinking it's only wheelchair users that are disabled ever end!? Stayed in room 105, with Hobbit Door. My partner had to duck everytime we went through it. Room was large but very dated and tired looking, we spent our stay listening to children race down the hall, our wardrobe shook and moved everytime. Room overlooked the busy noisy main road. One bed light and table lamp didn't work, 3 upholstered chairs were stained, dirty and in need of a vacuum, one was particularly dusty. On booking I requested a walk in showroom due to the reduced mobility, the bathroom had a bath with static shower head however it was a low bath with a good solid handrail. However there was a chip out of the bath which was rough to touch, huge chip out of the cistern. The shower non slip mat was filthy underneath, the sucker pads were ingrained with unknown muck and dirt, I'd hate to try to imagine what the dirt was. Shower head was very low, my partner couldn't fit under it, I'm a foot shorter than him and even I knocked my hands off the shower head when washing my hair. Good quality towels robes and shower shoes though and very hot radiator on the wall. Only one toilet roll for a two night stay. We had to ask for more. Breakfast quality, quantity and service was good. Fedback our views on comment card and to receptionist who presented as couldn't have cared less. For the price it was all poor value and quality, afraid Fishers may be still riding on former glory but there's a lot of competition for stays in Pitlochry now which highlights Fishers tiredness, jaded attitude and severe need for a major overhalll and modernisation. Nor sure where the photos submitted to TripAdvisor are from bur they are unidentifiable to our stay. Would not recommend for cost.
